The Inn at Virginia Tech is great. The service and staff are very nice and willing to assist with anything. The rooms are clean, the beds very soft and the pillows are down. Overall and excellent place to stay if you're in the Virginia Tech/Blacksburg area.

Very nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean with nice amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Enjoyed sitting by the fire sipping wine and visiting with family.

I have attended several events at the inn and have never been disappointed. It has a rich, opulent feel that reminds you of being in a film noir hotel coupled with modern amenities including WiFi. To top it off, the service is always wonderful.
The Inn at Virginia Tech has a distinctive old-school southern luxury feel with the high ceilings, sweeping balconies overlooking the floors underneath, ample lounging space, grand stairwells and intimidating double-doors. The decor it's definitely outdated, but given the overall design, idyllic landscape, and history of the area, it feels quaint... Very charming. I went for the American lunch buffet and the special was desserts... Which were absolutely divine.

I can't speak for the hotel rooms (which I've never stayed in myself, but hear are very nice), but the Skelton Cnference Center is beautifully appointed, comfortable, almost cozy in spots. One of my favorite conference venues!
Used one of the conference rooms for an event. In staff was helpful in ensuring the projector was set up and adjusted the temperature to ensure the room remained comfortable given the number of occupants.

Very clean. Excellent service. The rooms were somewhat dated but kept in great condition. The adjacent conference center is ideal for workshops and meetings which makes the two a great combination. Ive stayed off campus before but will return to the In the next time I need to stay near campus.
Our organization held our annual formal dinner at the Virginia Tech Inn for what must have been the dozenth time this year, and the team there continues to impress us with their professional behavior, their excellent food and beverages, and their commitment to ensuring all of our attendees have a great time.
Our event has grown to a size that can only be accommodated by the Inn, and we are very fortunate that they provide such a great opportunity for us all to get together year after year.
Went on two separate visits, one for lunch with friends. The Friday lunch buffet was excellent. The pumpkin pie was the best I have ever had. Went a week later to look at and take pictures of the Christmas trees they set up in one of the main hallways. Very stylish and pleasant place.

I was there for two nights. The hotel is great, very convenient and easy to find. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the food very much. The restaurant in the lobby is especially delicious!
Only hotel I stay at when I visit Blacksburg. The rooms are cozy, staff is friendly and very helpful and their dinning service is amazing. Plus it's right on campus. Close to everything you want when you make your pilgrimage.

Great accommodations. Nice large rooms, mine had a great sunset view over the golf course and Blue Ridge. Only complaint was that on Black Friday, during the 3rd quarter of the VT vs UVa game, they shut down the bar and stopped serving! How do you do that at the Inn at Virginia Tech? It should be THE PLACE to watch away games in B'burg. Oh well, price was right on a non game Holiday weekend and things were very quiet with students gone.

I attended to a banquet of the VT ISE grado department. It was a great event. The place was wide and comfortable and the team working there was very kind, polite and professional.
Visited attending a conference. The food was very good. Very clean and accommodating for the conference.
I attended a scholarship banquet. Everyone was very hospitable and extremely well organized. Name tags were given out quickly and orderly and we were given two drink tickets. Food was also excellent. Worst part about it was that the decor wasn't too stimulating but that really doesn't matter too much. I would give it a 4.7/5.
Was a great venue to see off the happy couple for their wedding reception.
Nice room. Two queen beds, office desk, sink inside and outside of bathroom. No complimentary breakfast, but there was coffee and fruit for free. Also offer as complimentary shuttle to and from local locations until 9pm.
Went here for the Christmas tree display. It was gorgeous and festive. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Blacksburg during the winter months.
