I recently had a bridal shower at the Inn at St. Peter's Village and I cannot stress how amazing the staff was! Jocelyn was great from the start! She was eager to help and answered all my questions. We were able to arrive early and we had our own private area over looking the rocks of St. Peters. It was an absolutely great day and I was so happy with the results. I would recommend the Inn to anyone looking to host a private event, and based off of the food, any meal!

As someone who doesn t live very far from the inn, and a semi-frequent visitor, my family simply visits for the food. It is incredible. Too bad it is currently closed. But, a painter going in and out of the building is a good sign!

Very charming and cozy experience. Not just because it was chilly and windy outside. Service was very good and everyone from the greeter (could have been the manager or the owner) to the waitress was nice. We ordered the cordon blue sandwich and two cheeseburgers with delicious chicken noodle and cream of broccoli soups. The cordon blue was great and even though the burgers didn't come out medium well as we ordered, they were very tasty. Generous portions and surprisingly low prices only added to the great experience. We'll come back when the outside patio is reopened, because the scenery around is amazing. Looking forward to it.

Took us 20-25 minutes just to get someone to take our order for drinks. I asked for asparagus instead of broccoli and received broccoli. My friend asked for mayo on her burger and never got mayo on her burger. My meal came with a side salad and when the food finally came out I hadn't received my salad and had to ask for it. Way too many problems with the meals and bad service doubt we will be back.

Been a while since I took a ride out to this classic historic place. When I was last there the parking lot had been totally revamped and the quarry opened. Rather spiffy!

Inside the owners were welcoming and the beer was very cold. Perfect for a hot day on the bike. There's not a massive amount to do nearby except explore but for an afternoon it's worth the excursion.

The inn is a great restaurant. It has excellent service, good food, and a great outdoor seating space to look out to the creek and nature below. I've lived in the area for a long time and have always enjoyed going to the inn.

Extremely disappointed. Although numerous employees walked by us, it still took a good 10 minutes or more to get our server over for a drink order. We finally ordered drinks and an appetizer to start. About 15 minutes later, our hummus appetizer arrived. It was watery but not bad, just not enough pita for the amount of hummus.

We asked for more pita and another drink. The drink took 10 more minutes to get and it was completely wrong. Our server corrected it and then a few minutes later, our extra bread finally arrived.

Then the Caprese Salad came out another 10 minutes later. The tomatoes were hard and pale in color. We ate some anyway because we were very hungry after hiking for a few hours. We asked for extra balsamic for the salad and of course never got it.
15 minutes after that, 2 out of 3 entrees arrived. The Ribs were lukewarm and reheated from days ago. It tasted like old leftovers. The Chicken Tacos were cold, dry, and like cardboard. I took one bite and lost my appetite. They were gross. Even the side cabbage topping was turning color because it was old. The third entree, Scallops, finally came out 7 minutes later and missing 1 side. The scallops were rubbery and way over cooked as well.

I went to the bar to ask for a manager. The bartender said she was the manager. I told her about how disappointing the food and the service was. Her response was they don t ever really get any complaints and that our server did inform us about the Scallops taking longer than normal. Since the food came out and some was eaten, that they d take off just 1 of the entrees (which was the cheapest one).

This was a birthday dinner which became a waste of time and money. The food was lousy and so was the service. The only reason our table ate some of it was because we hadn t eaten all day. Dining out is a treat and a reward. This was a really bad experience that literally left a bad taste in our mouths. We won t be back.

Went to have lunch on the patio. Manager was extremely rude towards me and other members in my group - told us they were not serving on the side of the patio we took a seat at as if we were supposed to know. Once we moved to the side of the patio that WAS serving lunch, the manager had a server come tell us we either had to tie up our little 10 pound harmless dog on the railing outside of the patio or to leave. The manager did not have the courage to do this herself, and consequently lost a pretty good bit of money as we took our business elsewhere.
Don t come here if you want common courtesy and good customer service, because clearly this manager lacks the ability to provide this and has no reason to be in the service industry. Awful.

i give this a one star for the owner. he was very nice and gave us our meal for free. and the waitress who took over after ours joy was very good. the dinner started with our waitress spilling a beer on my grandfather. we order fries as an appetizer and it took very long. 20 mins go by and the girl mom had to tell her to bring our fries out. we order our food and waited a very long time. we finally get our food but they serve it saying our salads will be out after..and it wasn t even our waitress who served the food. frustrated, we tell the one waitress and she was very rude and replied saying that our waitress was her daughter we were talking about. and to be frankly honest i didn t care that it was her daughter. our waitress was in her phone and had no care. we were her only table.our food was cold and our waitress didn t even apologize. every time her mom would walk by she would give death stares and shake her head as if it was our fault her daughter couldn t waitress! very unprofessional and she should be notified about it.

The location is charming, the back deck is delightful (gorgeous view of a wooded gorge) VERY good food. Our waitress was inattentive and stressed, took forever to get our drinks, and never refilled our waters. While it was a crazy busy day for the restaurant, (we later learned that 5 of the waitstaff had not shown up) and we were willing to wait for the EXCELLENT food we got, the service was lackluster. On to the food - the suckling pig papardelle was wonderful, clearly house made noodles. Rabbit was cooked to perfection, and paired well with a few choice vegetables. The fried shrimp and calamari were delightful, and surprisingly light. The chef is a treasure. Would definitely go again, but only for the food

if you've never been to Saint Peter's Village, you really should go. There is an inn that serves food and has outdoor entertainment in the summer, and there are also a lot of little shops that sell cool things and there's also an ice cream shop and a bakery. Behind the village is a stream that flows among boulders the size of cars. It's pretty amazing and a great place to go in the summer. You can hop from rock to rock or go in the water, just a really cool place. Behind the stream there are trails with huge boulders everywhere that go for miles in all directions. It's just a highly unique place to visit, and if you go during the summer you have a great time.

The Inn has passed through so many owners over the last twenty years. Perfectly situated in a picturesque spot, the Inn has never realized it's potential, as nearly every business has failed here, as a biker bar to a high-end artisanal cooking school.

We rented out the downstairs outdoor patio for my sisters bridal shower. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They had 3 outdoor propoane heaters for us and were always present and making sure we had everything we needed. Everyone had an incredible time and we're so glad to have celebrated my sisters bridal shower here!

The restaurant and bar is great! The outdoors area is always a good time after hiking on the river and trails all day. Decent selection of craft beers, although they have more standard beers than craft, and their cocktails are extremely good. Their live music is always a plus.

Lovely atmosphere and good beer selection. Friendly and attentive service and the patrons are also welcoming and friendly.

I didn't have a chance to try the food was was informed by regular patrons that the food is excellent. I'd wager the patio when open in the summer is also fantastic.

Delicious food, beautiful deck view. Today's seafood special was great. Lobster, shrimp, crab meat, sausage and red peppers with fettucini in a creamy white sauce. The wife had a tasty twin filet mignon with bordelaise and bearnaise sauces. The early evening air was mild on the back deck, the view of the boulder-filled creek in the woods was easy on the eyes, and I would have preferred they turn off the music so we could better hear the sound of the water rushing between the rocks. Good price, good portions, good staff. I wish we visited more often.

Would have rated it a 4 as this is a charming Inn in a beautiful setting. For $150 I would have expected more however. No TV and coffee in the room and we were cold even though it was spring. The air conditioning did not work properly and the bedding was too thin.

What a great find!.. Just stumbled upon this inn and St Peter's village just by chance. We have been back the times already and will become regulars. The best deck overlooking the falls. Wonderful staff outstanding food AND battered fries cooked to perfection. Peaceful and off the beaten path.

Open Thanksgiving , Chistmas eve and new years eve for early diners. OMG

This was such a cute little place with great, casual hiking. The Inn had good food and allowed me to have my dog there just outside of the fence from where my family and I were seated. Nice place to spend a quiet and peaceful afternoon.

Service and food we're excellent! They just reopened, so it look a little longer than normal, but I don't see this being an issue in the future. I got a chicken sandwich with peppers and cheese that came with fries, and my wife got a French dip sandwich, also with fries, both were beyond our expectations. Our bartender was attentive and did everything to he could to make our experience a positive one. We will be back!

Disappointed that the staff did not wear masks or care about standing far from your table. Food wasn t great but that was my main issue. Masks are mandatory in PA in public places but somehow not at this establishment?

Much less formal than previous ownership and the menu reflects that as well. Food was alright. Just typical pastas, pizza, and burgers. They do offer entrees which mine was alright nothing fantastic to rave about. The other options ordered were good not extremely notable. Will be back to see again as outdoor seating opens. Service was great!

Update: tried it again since they have the beautiful outside dinning. Again my entree was less than desired. No fresh ingredients. Chicken was like rubber, it was obviously frozen but not even addressed no flavor. Opted not to really eat my meal was afraid of getting sick. Dinning room is getting very worn and dirty looking. I have to say I will not be back. I am sad since this was a great place and at one time I was married here.
