We are so appreciative of Malcolm at Inlet for helping our family source a product that we needed for our son s immunology treatment. Due to Covid-19, our usual supplier had to close their doors and Malcolm was willing to bring in what we needed. Very thankful for that!

Great place for best quality fresh sea food . Nothing comes close to this store at least in this area. Prices are little high but this goes with quality of the products. Place is super clean and people working there are nice and friendly. If you want to eat real and fresh sea food then this is a place for you.
Got 2 dozen oysters from this bright and tidy shop. Lots of other tempting things but those will be for another day. Friendly staff and lots of locally caught fish. Really nice to not have to deal with Granville Island when we want better quality seafood. Very convenient with a bakery and Kin's produce across the street and a butcher around the corner.
Crab and prawn cakes too die for! Fresh scallops for fantastic rice/pasta combinations! Best fresh seafood in tri-cities!
Love getting my fresh salmon there every week. He knows exactly what I want & how big of a piece I like. The staff is super friendly and if you want high-end yummy fresh seafood. Then this is the place to go!
This is probably the first seafood store I visited in Vancouver, or Canada for that matter. And speaking as a person coming from an island nation, I've gotta say, nothing here compares to what I'm used to back in my home country. But this is probably fairly close. The staff is fairly friendly and is willing to answer any question you got. The price is a little high for my taste but what do I know, maybe that's just how much seafood cost around here. So over all, I've got this to say, if you're an enthusiastic home cook and want to cook up some great seafood dish you probably should come to places like this for fresh seafood, and none of that frozen crap, otherwise, it's probably easier to enjoy seafood from a sushi restaurant.
Fish is always very fresh. They will remove ALL the bones from you salmon fillet and cut the size you want
We have been coming here for many years. Very happy that they are located in the Tricities and that we don't need to drive very far to get the freshest seafood. They have an amazing selection and the best service too.

I had an experience where the marinated terayaki salmon fillet was extremely salty at $30 for 2 portions I decided to give my feedback, I'm within my rights aren't I?
Very poor reaction in terms of customer service from the lady responding went something like
'all of our customers love it'....
In my opinion this response is not good enough so I was very shocked.
You pay good money for great quality of both product and customer service.
I haven't had any trouble with any other product other than the above however I really don't get disappointed like this again.

Incredible neat and tidy shop. Very well presented. No harsh fish smell which you would typically encounter in markets that sell seafood. Talk to Malcolm and he will take care of you!
We sell clean and fresh products. It's amazing that it doesn't smell fishy at stores that sell production and seafood. Very clean! Salmon tuna, especially salmon, also sell creatures. You can buy fresh mussels, oysters and clams, as well as a variety of dried or smoked seafood.
Fresh, fresh and fresh. Calm and salmon! Oyster and mussel! And you can buy scripts of crab! This store is not big but you can buy whatever you want if you are not looking for very special one like any other fresh fish except salmon and tuna. Also you can buy more! Come to see is better to understand what you can buy.
Fresh Seafood at its best! Have been going there for years and always excellent quality. Personally I'm a big fan of the double-smoked sockeye salmon and the fresh Haida Gwaii Halibut Filets & Cheeks, but there's a good variety of other things to choose from. Family owned and run, their friendly staff always very helpful!

I have been purchasing seafood from Inlet Seafoods for about 10 years now, I try to make my way there once/week. I have bought seafood @ Granville Isl., Steveston, all the major Lower Mainland fish markets and can honestly say that Inlet Seafoods is the top tier quality Seafood store in Greater Vancouver. Nothing comes close. Malcolm & Co. @ Inlet are knowledgeable & friendly, and their store is clean & fresh. Imagine that -- a Seafood store that doesn't have that lingering smell of fish! Do yourself a favour -- buy one of their homemade items (I recommend their tartar sauce or salmon spread).
I've been a patron for several years, and will be for years to come. The seafood is the best most fresh I have found anywhere, and the staff are extremely helpful! An excellent experience.
I come from Cloverdale to buy my seafood here and only here. Friendly staff, helpful and always great to ask for tips and advise on how to cook. Store is very clean and has never smelled fishy or like bleach. They truly have the freshest seafood. They dont carry large variety of seafood yet their salmon, cod or halibut is to die for. I've been to almost every seafood store is the lower mainland and these guys don't even compare. The Best

What more could you wish?
I'm pretty much sure that the quality of the local fish is really good, but this morning I bought the Octopus salad to try, and it was really bad. I would like to give one more chance on the local fish, but let me suggest other customers do not try the octopus salad. I miss the real octopus salad a lot, and I was totally disappointed. I believe the octopus is good in these water too but it's hard to find good sellers.
I am a new patron of Inlet Seafoods and so far I have been impressed by the cleanliness of the store and the quality of the seafood. Can't wait to try more!
The customer service was excellent.....appeared confident in the quality of their crab and prawn cakes. I bought four . The portion size was very good.....I was disappointed in the flavour, the seasoning...quite bland....I was hoping for the flavour to pop.....I also did not like that I bit into crab shells in the cake. For $6 each...it should be definitely better.

OK that lady and the teriyaki sauce thing, what do you think they put in teriyaki. yep salt. This is a great locall store. they could change it up a little more often. Place is always clean an staff friendly.

I have been a patron of Inlet seafoods for many years. I grew up in the fishing industry and I know how seafood is supposed to be handled. I have visited many other seafood shops and Inlet is hands down flat out the best and the cleanest. No rotting fish stink, no dried out last weeks catch in the display case just fantastic quality and people that know what they are talking about.
