So very very sad to know this place is closing! We had our daughter's wedding booked there and now have to scramble to find a new venue.

ATTN: SCAMMERS! THE INN @ PALMER LAKE AND GROUPON AFFILLIATES ARE NOT WHAT THEY PUT IN PRINT!!!The "Inn at Palmer Divide" is definitely the WORST place I have ever been to stay and dine. Now I know why it's called the "INN" because you're "inn" to getting robbed at this place for sure. For example, be sure to always read "the fine print" because the owner here sure was a stickler on it. My wife and I came here for our 5th year wedding anniversary and expected it to be extravagant. Yet, again the entire groupon deal wasn't a deal at all. The owner would not let us use a 30 dollar food and beverage credit that was sold with the room and groupon. The rip off on the entire deal is we were given a credit we could never use in the first place. Our check-in was at roughly 4pm maybe we came a little before, but there was no bar, restaurant, vending machines, or gift shop to use the credit when we arrived. Then on 3 different occasions, once on the telephone 3 weeks ago when I booked the room we were told we could use the credit for our "New Years Eve Dinner" which mind you is $55 per person, so they would have easily recovered their money and investment on just one of our meals. We were more than happy to come to dinner, but when there are these types restrictions on the coupon they are offering something is really wrong. In addition, I could see if we only stayed one night and there were other options around Palmer Lake to get some other food options (restaurants) etc. However, we are in the mountains and there are no such options. Furthermore, they do not provide any food service, no microwave in the room (even if you picked up food), no refrigerator in the room. We truly felt stranded and famished in a place that should show you the utmost respect and courtesy when cashing your money in to the bank. My wife and I are seasoned travelers, vacationers, and B&B extraordinaires and we have never been so insulted before in our lives. I have had more of a genuine understanding from the little "mom and pop" B&B places, then this place. I hope you read this message in its entirety and if we can discourage at list one couple from coming to this crappy establishment then it will have done its job. I just feel bad that instead of saying we had the best 5 year wedding anniversary at the "inn". Unfortunately, this is sincerely not the case. Respectfully,
