Nice club, pleasant atmosphere. Course suffering from weather. Enjoyed my visit.

Nice course well maintained. Good for high handicappers.

The course is well kept and ideal for low skill players like me. There are some interesting holes especially the 17th with a narrow fairway and water on both sides! The club house is modern and the staff and members friendly. The food is pretty good compared to most other clubs I've been to. Nice shop as well and a driving range. Just to complete the picture there is a very picturesque par 3 not fantastically challenging but great for beginners.

Eight of us from Gloucester Golf Club played Thornbury golf club today, got a good deal. From the start very Professional Sophie who was very friendly gave us our welcome pack told us all what was going on. Coffee bacon baps on arrival all very nice, we all enjoyed are game of golf. The greens had been prepared for Winter so we all know what they can be like, but not a problem still a great time. The meal afterwards was lovely just what we needed. With the welcome pack we got a deal which we would like to take up

I'm sure it's great for golfers but for business stays the Rooms are very tired

Just played the par 3, and it was great. Loved it, made a great change.

With two courses and driving range this is a great golf club. The staff are always friendly and helpful. One of the pro players does regular classes for children. Loving the new cafe area too.

Nice track but a bit wet on the day though expected after the deluge of rain. I imagine in the summer the course would be in great condition.

Great golf shop. And for people just starting golf their par 3 short course is a great course to begin

Lovely place. Has lovely rooms and great golfing facility. Free parking aswell as great food and nice bar, can't complain. Getting married here next year so would defiantly recommend.

Had a lesson here and the instructor was very professional and very helpful. Only cost 25 quid for half an hour and learnt a lot of useful tips in that short time.its a shame the mats are quiet old so you have to manually put the tees under the mats which is a annoying but oh well!

With two fantastic courses, Thornbury Golf Centre caters for all class of golfers. The par 3 course overlooks the Severn valley and is a joy to play, regardless of the weather! A well stocked golf shop, bar and restaurant makes it an ideal location for a round of golf.

Stayed in the Lodge, very nice and comfy. Even returned a jacket I left there by mistake quickly.

Excellent place to stay most welcoming staff make you very welcome the selection of food is very good i will be staying again well done Thornbury Golf Center.

We had a cracking weekend with our wags group at Thornbury ;both courses were stunning condition ,a great evening in the clubhouse with some other guests staying there , really good food and accomadation

Friend had their wedding here..... and I bought some new clubs... I liked it

Only went to club house for a function, but sitting in the upstairs function room you are able to see some wonderful and pleasant views. The function it self was most enjoyable as we were looked after by a crew of friendly and cheerful staff. The luncheon that they served us can only be give a 10 out of 10. I think the hosts of the function should be proud and pleased with their day and choice of venue.

Excellent local course with a good driving range. 18 hole + a par 3 course. Good bar and restaurant. Can also be booked for weddings a private parties.

We stayed here only for one night in Thornbury Lodge. Nice place. Clean and tidy. The only minus are the pillows, too high. And the lights go randomly on/off in bathroom, apartment n. 5.

OK course but showing signs of lack of upkeep- fairways need cutting, greens uneven and too many worms & fusarium.. Some bunkers deep, others hard compacted. Clubhouse: Very poor hygiene- no enforcement of masks/poor table upkeep. Very busy but no marshals.

Beautiful course, windy day but added to the challenge

Pleasantly surprised at the standard of the room. Clean, spacious with a lovely powerful shower. Easy to book in at the bar as well.

Really good sized room in the lodge and good evening food and bar. Breakfast was fantastic. Service great.

Brilliant course with helpful friendly staff and the course is always in top condition

Amazing wedding venue, the food was plentiful, hot and well presented too, I would recommend this venue for a wedding. Wedding planner is friendly and helpful, grounds immaculate and we were there day after heavy snowful so pleased drive was cleared and everyone could attend.

The High Course is lovely and also a bit challenging too. Definitely worth trying

Good society golf course. Not too taxing for high handicap golfers but a good enough test for single handicap players

A lovely location- excellent staff- I called in one evening as a guest and was impressed- modern decor very nice for a meal and a drink with great views over the golf course

Great value interesting course. Not too difficult but still a challenge. Great food in clubhouse. Good selection of clothing in the pro shop. Good value offers for golf. Some accomodation on site.

Terrible customer service, avoid at all costs! Would have left a zero star review but one star was the lowest!

Played the 1st nine holes on the main course, some wide fairways, consistent greens, good views; unfortunately very wet & muddy in places. Nice club house, golf range, good teaching facilities. Friendly staff and players. Recommended
