Good food, great atmosphere! Watch out for the gulls if you eat on the deck.

The lobster grilled cheese on Texas toast had a good amount of lobster but in spite of being described as having cheddar cheese it came with American cheese. It was ruined by the American cheese. The lobster roll was decent but I preferred another Boothbay Harbor shack for lobster rolls. The lobster spinach omelet was very good.
Good lunch menu. Haddock baskets are enough for two and perfectly fried. Sandwiches are generous . Service was not as good as the food. Location is very nice. Outside and inside seating.
Great local spot with good service and good food in a charming setting!
Great lobster, haddack, clam chowder and beers with great view!
Pretty good but service is lacking...and running out of tea...was awful when you are eating tastee pie...and what's with tiny napkins when eating lobsters...get a roll of paper towels....
Never order take out. For the price you would think you would get a little more than we got.
As of March 2020 the wharf is being completely rebuilt. The restaurant is gone - hopefully it will return better than ever as this was a great place. The website offers no information that I can find.
Love the whole area and eating bear the water. Great deal for two whole lobsters
Four of us had dinner May 29 and all were excellent meals. Lobster ravioli, Haddock dinner, lobster roll and tuna dinner. We all were extremely pleased and look forward to another meal there.
with our large party, service was rather slow but the food was very delicious. On the pricey side.
Outstanding!! Soooo many lobster choices!! Everything was terrific!! My new favorite restaurant on the water!!!
Very disappointed. I have ordered fried seafood platters all over coastal New England. While the $31 price is at higher-end of average for a fresh fried combination platter, beware, our takeout was insultingly disproportionate AND the overall quality was really poor. Platters at this price point should be pretty loaded with fresh goodies and have a smal mountain of french fries and maybe a few fresh onion rings. HERE S WHAT WE GOT: The shrimp looked suspiciously the size and quality of those grocery store party platters that come prepackaged on round trays, and they were totally oil-logged = just gross... NOT EVEN CLOSE to the shrimp you should get on a combo platter in this region! My husband said, are these people serious?? . There were 5 fried whole clams, the best part, but I like them over-cooked and extra crunchy. 5 small sea scallops, around 10 of those insulting half-bite-sized weird shrimp and 2 very small finger-sized pieces of fish (typically you should get one huge or two smaller fat pieces of haddok)... oh yeah, and a VERY SMALL handful of fries and a little half-filled container of cole slaw. We were mad and felt insulted, especially since it was takeout and we felt like they cut serious corners for profit margins or they just don t care. I have no problem dropping $$$ on beautiful fried seafood or any other dining experience, but THIS WASN T IT. (Heads up: Someone mentioned they are under new ownership, so don t invest too much in the older reviews for this establishment)
This was very disappointing. Our waiter never brought out plates and silverware for apps. We got our own. We waited at least 20 minutes for him to come back to ask for another round of drinks. Again....my husband had to get up and flag down another server to find him. We had no rolls served, although the menu indicated we should have. Ugh!!!!
Was pleasantly surprised..very nice atmosphere..food choices were extensive. Portions were good . And waitstaff was fantastic..very enjoyable.
One of our favorite stops on our yearly vacation to the Boothbay Harbor peninsula. Absolutely love the location in the quiet village of East Boothbay and as you can see by the pictures, right on the water. Every time we are there it is so cool to see boaters come right up to the restaurant dock, tie up, and come in and enjoy a meal. It is not just about the location though, the food is excellent as well! Put this on your list of stops when in the Boothbay Harbor region!
We had the baked scallops. They were delicious. The food came incredibly fast. Our server was good. That being said, their processing of things seems a little disjointed. New staff maybe? I would go back.
This a delightful restaurant recently purchased by the owners of the adjacent Ocean Point Marina. They have upgraded the food significantly. I have eaten there a half dozen times this summer (2016) and every meal has been excellent (most especially the lobster stew!). The wait staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The setting is delightful overlooking a nice working marina. Go here to enjoy a relaxing dining experience away from the hustle of nearby Boothbay Harbor.
Coffee was old and cold food had no taste. In 10 years this is the place I will not come again. I wish I could go to court and get my money back. Don't let the crowd full you.
Oh this place is great, try the quesadilla with lobster WOW! Get reservations. Parking may involve a walk. Boat up if u want to
No frills but an excellent meal. Lobsterman's Shore Dinner at market price!
Beautiful views but don't get the baked stuffed lobster if you're okay with looking at the carcus of a lobster plus the eyes and everything else attached. Unfortunately we won't be going again. The baked stuffed haddock was almost 30 dollars and three rolled small pieces of haddock with a little bit of stuffing was served. Very dissappointed.
Fresh 1 1/2 lb lobsters, fresh off the boat, weighed, packaged, and took home to steam... awesome!!! Worth the 3000+ mile drive.
I decided to give this restaurant a try because it was close to our hotel and it had a good view on the deck outback. We ordered 2 dinner meals and I had a drink called the puffin from the bar. Which was very delicious. Strong but delicious. I was tipsy off of that one drink. I got the clam po'boy with french fries and a cup of clam chowder. I have never had a po'boy before and thought I would try it. All 3 were good. Clams were fried well. French fries were crisp, and the clam chowder was hot and creamy. Oster crackers were served with it, which I like better then regular crackers. The other order was a seafood samplers with clams, haddock, shrimp, and scallops served with french fries also. The Haddock was amazing. My favorite out of the sampler. Clams were good.
Scallops and shrimp were kinda small.
As for environment its a nice view with good seating. The waiter was great. Very intentive. Very quick.
Great waterside dining. Ecle tic menu, full beer selection. Open, easy feel.
Great food. Amazing staff. Maybe a little pricy, but it's worth it.
Hurry Before They Close for the Season!!
The stuffed, baked haddock was delicious!! Clam chowder was the best I've ever had anywhere. Service was prompt, even though there was a crowd taking advantage of the end of season deals.
sure not like the old GOOD Lobstermans Wharf.
all other tables had shade but ours. Host very slow in seating, did not smile and not pleasant
Fried Haddock not completely cooked. Waitress never returned to find out how food was and never asked if we would like dessert or more to drink
Live in the area and will not return
Very Poor service.FLIES IN THE RESTAURANT!!! Disgusting!!!
Loved being in the heart of the happenings--and loved our room overlooking the harbor and all its activity!
Food and drinks and services, was way above, what we expected
The staff was great the location is great but the kitchen doesn't know how to make stuffed haddock the portion was small adding a few bread crumbs and a newburg sauce that tastes like a tin can isn't stuffed haddock I have had good meals from here but this time was a major disappointment
The deck views are great , there is a small but good selection of beer on tap. The appitizer selection is lacking but it is a great place for an afternoon drink with friends
Tough to ask for a better spot than right on the water on the coast of Maine! Come by car or by boat and enjoy the great food and awesome Bloody Mary's
Mostly seafood but great view and service also accessible by water which is a great plus
Deck is the place to be on a beautiful day in East Boothbay. Food was perfect, staff efficient and pleasant and the view gorgeous.
New owners and they have improved everything I am happy to add this to my list of local restaurants.
What a rip off... terrible food.....ridiculously priced for such terrible food,,., close now please...the haddock in the haddock sandwich fell a part and was soggy a gross. The salads are $20 and the size are ridiculously small. Cheese is $2.00 extra they must have a expensive cow..,. Stay away the view is not worth it..,
Good food great view. Need I say more. Well... a little bit more. This place is all about the fish. I would recommend finding somewhere else if you want a burger or something like it. They have awesome lobster rolls, if you're interested in that sort of thing, and really, who isn't. ; )
Food was good but service was not. Service is what cost you the stars and I really think the owners need to look!! When you ask your server is fish is local and they don't know???? Ask what the vegetable of the day is and being told they don't know but it changes daily..........Having to ask for a lobster bib - getting moist towelettes that were absolutely dry. What food we ate was good but the service was poor. Front of your house needs attention. If you decide to visit - be prepared for this.
Not the best not the worst. Came here by boat for lunch from Boothbay Harbor. The food was good but the service was mediocre.
A must on your bucket list. Great people, great food, great scenery.
Great views. A bit pricey, but the portions are very generous. Mixed drinks are good
Arrived on an early Sunday evening. Astoundingly they were out of any sort of lobster below 2lbs. When you have lobster in your name and are in the lobster capital of the world it should be embarrassing to run out of, you know....lobster. The servers were surly and annoyed we wanted drinks and menus. The fried fish dishes and mussels we ordered could have been prepared in any diner anywhere by the newest short order cook. They also ran out of corn on the cob. Did I mention the flies?
Delicious seafood, fast and friendly service even on an incredibly hot July day!
Great burger and service. Floor could have been cleaner. Kick plate to the kitchen was grungy too.
Love the food and the atmosphere. Also a great spot for Sunday bloody Marys on the deck.
Food was good, service excellent, atmosphere was perfection!
