Beautiful church and friendly staff and parishioners

All my neighbors go to Bethany. friendliest people, great church, great pastor.

They have a wonderful Tea Room. Proceeds are donated to local charities.

Quaint old church, in historic downtown Summerville, SC.

Bethany UMC is a wonderfully welcoming church! We started gong a couple years ago when we moved here and didn't know anyone. Everyone was very nice and the Sunday schools for my toddler are excellent.

For our monthly multiple sclerosis meeting, the church has graciously let us use a designated room.

Nice parking lot. Used to give blood. Did not attend the church.

A caring community of Christian believers, striving to fulfill the Great Commandment (to "love one another") and the Great Commission (by reaching out both locally and globally).

This church is sooo sweet and awesome all my grandchildren and Daughter go there and love it

I have attended Bethany UMC twice in the past. I attended with my husband, who was at the time, my boyfriend. He was a widower, and had been for almost 2 years. Of course, the congregation knew his deceased wife. I was welcomed by a few people, mostly men. The women who knew Renee were very cool towards me. One woman went so far as to turn away from me when I was introduced to her. Needless to say, we have not, nor will we ever, return to this church. Very un- Christian-like behavior...

Great place. Can't say enough about the education my grandsons have received.
