I have stayed here many times and have had a variety of experiences. This last trip was adequate. The staff was mostly very pleasant. My one complaint is that there is no food, not even a pretzel available after 11pm.

From the moment you drive up to the Inn, you'll know you're in for a treat! One of the most gorgeous views in all of northern Michigan. A huge Chandelier greets you as you enter the lobby and the staff is very pleasant!

We had such a nice weekend getaway. It was warm and cozy on a very snowy couple of days! Great food in the bar, and the gluten free chocolate cookies are so good!! We'll be back!!

Once you are here, you'll never want to leave. I felt that I was treated like a celebrity. It made me feel special. The room was gorgeous and cozy. Excellent room service and hospitality. The breakfast is fabulous. Jennifer was very helpful and nice. Thank you Jennifer. Having a fireplace and Keurig coffee maker in our room, made us want to spend all the time inside the room. We felt very relaxed and happy here. Thank you everyone at Inn at Bay Harbor. We had an unforgettable time.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They run a free shuttle service into Petosky or anyplace within 5 miles until 11 pm. The rooms have Keurig machines with a variety of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. They also provide a fridge, wine glasses with a cork screw. The beds are very comfortable and the views on the lake side are amazing. Boyne mountain is less than 30 minutes away and they allow guests at the Inn to utilize one of the pools and hot tubs at Boyne. We had braised short ribs for dinner and they were cooked perfect. This is a great place to get away for the weekend with your significant other or with the family. There are many things to do in the area.

I travel a lot and have stayed in some of the best hotels out there, and The Inn at Bay Harbor is my favorite. The staff is very friendly; the location is perfect--along the shores of Lake Michigan. The sunsets are better than any I've ever seen, including California. The hotel offers complimentary bike usage and the bike paths along the bay are incredible. The pool is nice and there is life-size checkers & chess and other games near the pool for family fun. Breakfast at the hotel is delicious!

Update 8/4/16 Stayed at the hotel again this year and it was another fantastic experience! Friendly staff, great location...a little slice of heaven!

Our purpose was a Team Meeting and overnight stay on-site. The service was good the folks accommodated us setting up the night before. They did have to check with the boss, if you need a flip chart, want to move the food table, etc. They have to check, would be nice if staff had more authority. Boardroom is not set-up well for sub-grouping, space is tight around the main table. Loved the room's view and nice chairs for all day seating. Service the day of the meeting was great.

Came here for a "mini-honeymoon" directly following our wedding weekend to relax and we were treated like royalty. From the concierge to room service, all staff members provided exceptional service. The complimentary turn-down service with champagne and roses were a nice touch, too! I will be coming back!

Unique experience. Our son loved the ginormous chess set. One complaint, pool area needed better maintenance. (uneaten food on and around chairs).

Absolutely stunning location for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Lots of different room configurations (loved the queen murphy bed arrangement with kitchenette). Excellent spa and fitness center but there's a ton of stuff to do locally for recreation. Great sunsets from the beach chairs and lounge area. When I stayed there you could also request for a campfire in the outdoor pit area... which also included all the fixings for s'mores. Great touch.

I ve had an amazing experience at the Spa. I went to get my hair styled and Kim was superb. She used this conditioner I needed for my hair and it looked beautiful. I m so happy with her service and my hair looks so healthy. I m sharing with friends if they re ever in the area please stop by and enjoy the Spa services. Great staff and awesome service

Amazing place to stay by the lake. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained, the staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. The views of the lake are breathtaking. Great place for families.

The dinner restaurant "Vintage" was phenomenal. 4 star restaurant. Land & Sea option was cooked perfectly, side of mac and cheese gratin and jumbo shrimp starters were excellent. My room turned out to be bigger than expected, the photos online didn't do it justice. As a first time stayer they provided a bunch of chocolates and free bottle of sparkling wine in my room. I would stay there again!

The Inn at Bay Harbor is an experience. It was designed in the style of the old grand hotels and is impeccably, well adorned with beautiful landscaping and gardens. Guest rooms are very clean and luxurious. Our room had a nice deck with rockers, a fireplace, kitchenette and spacious bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. We enjoyed lunch and dinner on-site and were very satisfied with food and service. There are bikes for use by the guests and the 27 mile bike path is easily accessible from the Inn. We found many Petroskey rocks on the beach directly in front. The cookies at check in were a special treat.

Lovely views, gorgeous rooms, and a killer bar. I assume the restaurant is also fantastic given how good breakfast was. Definitely worth a visit.

Gorgeous hotel, the grounds and service are superior. My only complaint is my use of the hot tub was cut short by the kids using it as a kiddie pool.

This place is really fancy, and it's right along the beautiful shores of lake Michigan.

The location of this Inn is gorgeous. We were able to enjoy the patio overlooking the water. Also, nice to have several restaurants and other activities so close. Very nice area and would recommend.

The resort is very nice, clean, and quiet. The only disappointment was not being able to utilize an upgrade even at Titanium Elite status as well as having suite rewards credits. We still reccomend this resort.

This was by far my best hotel experience in northern Michigan so far!

Beautiful place. Great location. I remember the wonderful in-room breakfast. There s, however not much to do around there, especially for toddlers. But we still enjoyed our short stay.

Just delivered here, didn't stay, but the atmosphere was very, well, high class. Certainly some place a poor trucker like me wouldn't be able to afford. But for anyone who can, I'm certain this'll be a long lasting good memory.

A relaxing and amazing getaway for couples. This resort is also family friendly. The rooms have a balcony with rocking chairs that has a breathtaking view of the lake.

Everyone is so nice, the grounds are the perfect place for the a wedding, rooms just ok needs to be updated they are not worth the price.

A1 experience. Room had a view of the bay and was like a mini apartment complete with patio and gas fireplace. Restaurant is top notch with excellent food and service.

My dishes in the cabinets were not cleaned but I called the staff to let them know and it felt like they took that pretty seriously.

Very nice tucked in quite area, updated grounds and rooms. Staff professional and mostly nice. Retraining in accommodating Marriott loyal members needed for some of the staff.

One of my favorite destinations in Michigan. This is a boutique hotel with excellent service and really good food and wonderful views. It's expensive, but worth it.

The hotel was simply amazing. We went simply to get away and relax, that's exactly what we got. Its in a great location and our room had an amazing view of the water along with watching the sun set. The hotel staff is great, friendly, and always willing to help. Would definitely stay there again. The breakfast buffet was pricey but great and Chef Alex makes a mean omelette.

The breakfast buffet is incredible too I would visit here again in a heartbeat. The room is immaculate and has a kitchenette and the couch pulls out to a bed. Love love love!

If you have never been to the Petoskey area this is a must. The hotel is fabulous, the service is great but the views are stunningly beautiful.
