Fabulous Gastro Pub with an amazing herb garden that you can access during your visit.

Amazing surroundings and great food awaits all visitors here.

The menu caters for every taste and there's a great range of Wines, Beers and Spirits.

The pub is good value for money which has a real wow factor.

Booking recommended.

Staff were friendly enough but mis-understood the simplest of requests. It took thirty minutes for our drinks to arrive, the food was over priced for mediocre meals that were small portions of overcooked produce. Poor presentation throughout and expensive drinks. Incorrect food and drinks served. I'd like to say it was just us but another table near to us also had similar issues.

Great day out and informative as well as educational. Recreated Victorian living and working conditions that many would not believe only 120 years later. Well worth a visit but book online to save money.

This is what all traditional British pubs would like to look like. Beams, nooks, old fireplaces, interesting buildings especially the Old Barn. Good amount of parking and really good food.

The Hundred House Hotel is so easy to find and park simply drive into Norton village at no more than 30km/hour. For parking be alert, turn carefully and drive between the barn and the main building. Explore the hotel grounds enjoy the ambience and for comments on the restaurant most of the reviews below are very positive.

**UPDATED summer 2019**
Still need to improve veggie selections. Very helpful on the night and they offered 2 more choices that weren't on the menu but still involved long discussions and made us feel singled out instead of just being able to choose off the menu like everyone else. Chefs seem to have a mental block these days when it comes to vegetarian food. One or two choices is just not enough!

ORIGINAL REVIEW early 2018:
Needs to improve vegetarian menu selection. Used to be spoilt for choice whenever we ate here. Very disappointed after highly recommending to friends to then be faced with only ONE choice in their entire menu! Very poor show. 3 stars given for beautiful surroundings and excellent customer service received from the restaurant manager. Chef needs to realise (as do most chefs) that vegetarians also like to have a choice, especially when they're paying similar prices to everyone else.

First outing since lock down so a bit nervous but, as regular customers, trusted the Hundred House to look after us and weren't disappointed. Clear instructions as to how to enter and what to expect, warm welcome and well spaced tables; hand gel freely available and not too busy. New and exciting menu, I really enjoyed my Korean belly pork and my partner his sea food platter served by friendly and professional staff.Despite the rain you could see the gardens are looking magnificent as ever, perhaps better; there's space in a marquee for external dining as well as the outdoor tables. The wine is more expensive than previously; but hey ho! Thank you so much and hope to be back soon this summer when we can enjoy the gardens as much as we enjoyed the food.

Out on the motorbike and stopped off here for something to eat. Was very pleasantly surprised. Has a lovely and very original setting. The staff were kind and the food was amazing. Definitely a place i will make a point of going to again.

Attended for a wedding on what was the hottest day of the year. The place was magical. The wedding service was faultless despite the heat and over 100 guests. Beautiful secret gardens at the back.

Attended a wedding here. A lot of waiting around for long periods of time whilst waiting for the barn to be changed around (on two occasions). Very cramped and not enough seating. Very expensive and like to charge for rooms not used. Certainly not disabled and elderly friendly as your food is served from the balcony so you have to get up and down stairs with a plate whilst trying to use a walking stick. Would I go again NO.

Food was very good. But the evening was spoilt when we returned to find the car with a plate of food smeared on the bonnet . There was a wedding on with some obviously very rowdy guests!!! Not happy.

Wow, what a beautiful 'ultra historic' place stopped to look and could not believe what we saw, I've not seen anything so incredible for miles around, they hold weddings here and no wonder with the settings including top notch gardens, highly recommended

Excellent food and drink. Pretty relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make this a very welcoming destination. The garden is lovely on a sunny afternoon and the barn is great for conferences and family events.

A pleasant pub, easy to find but with hidden parking unless you know where to turn in to get to it, its not clear from the road due to the 90 degree turn with no warning. Meals were well prepared although slightly pricey. Popular venue for weddings as have seen them occuring in the bar area which is next to.the meal area during my last 2 visits. Venue is warm with nice space from other tables inside for meals. Very accomodating to special seating requests such as wheelchairs. Excellent garden area to explore after meal. Drinks werent as ordered on this occasion (pint of coca cola) and got a 200ml glass bottle instead but meal flavoursome and filling. Would visit again again.
