We went for the new afternoon tea menu. The food, service and experience has always been first class here and the afternoon tea was not an exception. If you would like to spoil yourself a little bit this is the place.

Perfect wedding last year... Perfect meal, overnight stay, and breakfast on our first anniversary this year. Thank you Hundred House team!

The room photos are from AFTERWARDS by the way! The set up was pristine on arrival.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. Everything was absolutely bang on. Lovely surroundings staff very friendly, the head chef came out of the kitchen to answer questions on how they cooked the meat. Highly recommend this place. Proper food.

My wife and I have eaten at this place many many times now and never been disappointed. The quality and taste of the food is fantastic. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating.

We loved the place so much, we got married in their barn! They were extremely helpful before and during the day and again the food was still the high standards of the restaurant even when cooked for lots of people.

We have so stayed over night several times now. The rooms in the inn are very beautiful and all have their own character.

We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Well organised for social safety, friendly service and good well presented food at a reasonable price, then the government paid half the bill!! What more could you want!

It appears the pipes are not cleaned properly so the beers were fairly disgusting (different ones tried). Also the food was overpriced, overcooked, poorly presented and did not come with any vegetables. We will not be visiting again. It is a shame as such a lovely location and building.

Food was really good as with previous visits. Only 2 main courses ordered, 1 duck and the other chicken. Couldn't have asked for better! Service was friendly and attentive without being invasive.

Lovely food in a lovely setting, very old worldy pub, even down to the toilets! The food sad delicious, and the range of dishes was surprising (i had mezze to start, duck breast for main, and hazelnut meringue with pistachio ice cream to finish). The service was attentive and pleasant. The neighbouring table had a birthday and they got their dessert with chocolate writing on the plate, as well as a hearty sing song!

We went to the Hundred House for our close friends wedding and it was perfect!
From the moment we arrived the staff knew where we were going, what was going on and where we were meant to be.

The service & food were first class and nothing was missed.
The food was really tasty as was the accompanying drinks.

The Hundred House has character, charm and beauty about it.
Really fantastic venue for such a special day.

Traditional English pub with friendly welcome, wonderful food and excellent beverages. Olde worlde with the feel of how a pub should be. Good was absolutely perfect. Very clean facilities and quirky too. Couldn't fault the staff or the venue.

I ate what I had, but I think for the costs, it's trying to be something it's not, service not good, just pub staff running it all. Iceberg lettuce on a starter of black pudding?? It was OK but just disappointing we skipped pudding. We loved the sound of the menu and expected much more. Nothing fancy with decor, the setting, wines rubbish. Avoid

We took a trip over to @thehundredhouse yesterday afternoon to sample their Saturday street food menu after seeing so much of their food on the gram lately.

If you are free next Saturday I highly suggest that you head over there because the food was incredible.

We had Korean style belly pork and the baked feta and roasted pumpkin tacos. A side of satay chicken wings and as a main, lamb koftas and the Indonesian fishcake.

The flavours they are creating there are insane.

Three hundred house hotel is a traditional dining pub which hides many old world features in its cosy rustic interior. With its oak balustrades and tiny strained glass windows you may feel as though you've stepped back in time as you gather around a log burner in an alcove with your friends to decide what to order from the delicious a la carte menu. Highly recommended.

Very good food, sadly let down by the service, we felt abandoned in the corner! Had to keep going to the bar for service, probably due to a large function, guess they didn't have enough staff. Perhaps better when no function on, food was very good though...

The food is excellent and the building and surroundings are lovely. The service, however, is terrible and slow. We waited well over an hour for dessert... 2 brownies and a cheese board. I don't know what was happening but a couple that were sat outside a few tables away from us also had a terrible time and left quite abruptly and talking angrily. A real shame as the food is very good!

Our wedding at Hundred House was absolutely perfect!

It is the most beautiful place, visually it was just what we were looking for in a venue. The barn was decorated exactly how we wanted with every last detail perfect. The starlit ceiling with it's big high beams is breathtaking. The gardens are immaculately maintained with loads of fun quirky features for guests to explore. The inside of the bar is also really quirky - even the toilets were a talking point! And our bedrooms were so comfortable and cozy with a really unique, vintage look. Everyone loved the bedroom swings!

The food is delicious. We have ate here many times before and it is always amazing (it's the main reason we chose this venue!), but our wedding food was especially good. For breakfast in the morning the staff went out of their way to get a special request for me and even bought it up to my room. Then the canapes were incredible, I could have eaten a whole plate of the black pudding and chorizo stacks (actually, I did!). They even provided a special plate of kids canapes and vegan canapes. The main meal was bought out swiftly, with teams of servers ensuring everyone on the table had their plate at the same time, no one was left waiting. Every course was delicious, I was disappointed that I couldn't fit it all in with my dress! All of our particular requests were catered for, from dietary requirements to just fussy eaters. Later in the day icecream was served in the garden, which was beautiful and our guests loved. I am told that the evening hog roast was also very tasty, though I didn't get to eat any myself!

All of the staff at Hundred House went to every effort to make our day perfect. Gemma was so helpful throughout the planning stages, meeting with us regularly to go over all the tiny details, answering all our silly questions and always being so patient and understanding. On the day Jake ensured everything ran smoothly and was always on hand if we needed anything. There were so many other members of the team that helped with everything on the day, from the lady that found us umbrellas so that we didn't get wet to the guys that stayed late to have a drink and a drunken chat with us in the early hours! I can't thank them all enough! So many working behind the scenes too - kitchen and bar staff, waiters/waitresses, housekeeping, gardeners...every tiny attention to detail!

You all made us feel like our wedding was the only wedding that you were planning this year, it is incredible that you pull that off several times a week!

AMAZING!

Good
