This is a party hostel, mostly a bit older crowd. Between 25 and 35. Stayed here for 10 days. The place is very social, it's impossible not to make new friends here! So many interesting people. Everybody is very respectful to eachother which is great since it's a small space. They arrange pub crawls every night. While not mandatory, I can highly recommend going along. Usually there are people who choose to stay in too so you can always take a quiet evening at the hostel and watch a movie with other guests.

Great hostel! The staff are friendly and the amenities allow you to get to know the other people staying there as well. Breakfast and supper is prepared by the staff, with a donation going towards the next meal. Every day one of the staff lead a daily activity such as a pool party on the beach, a look out hike over Barcelona and more as well as bringing you too one bar and night club with free entry every night. Highly recommend and big thanks to GILES!

Hostel own warm welcome. The value for money is top. The location is perfect for those who want to walk. Perfect for groups since it consists of rooms with 10 single beds. I recommend closed eyes.

I was only there one night. the staff is nice and gave me the idea of a hostel active in normal times. It is really close to the center, the Rambla and has a nice terrace.

You fall in love with the people there. The volunteers who run the hostel make it look effortlessly easy and are always available for a good conversation, a crazy night out or an ice-cream at 2am. Beware, this is not a wannabe hostel, but a hostel with heart and you leave here making friends. The free family hostel dinners and games every night make this place special and give an opportunity to bond with the other travellers. Hostel One has cracked the code on how to be both - a chill holiday and a party hostel.

The workers are depressed and they will find away to put it on you. the reason is because they don t get paid, and they work as volunteers. Just a way for the owner to save some cash. Showers were cold, water flow was too week. Wifi sometime works sometimes not. The whole place is noisy because of the staff making games in the middle of the night. It s very normal for the staff to just leave your door open, and wake you up with noise. And apparently because of that same reason people i knew got rubbed in that place. Breakfast was: raw eggs, milk, tea, bread. Doesn t worth 3.50 euro that s for sure. Dinner is free only it s made by travelers whom will make you feel uncomfortable for eating free, by asking money from you. And that s my experience, wish no one Goes through this.

Probably the best Hostel I've stayed at! Very nice sleeping pods with curtains and each pod had a shelf, an outlet and a light inside. Very clean. Lovely staff. Doing day and night activities every day and a free "family dinner" every evening. Becca and Angel in the staff where absolutely lovely! Very nice hostel to meet people especially if you're travelling solo as i was and i liked the chilled out atmosphere!

I'm pretty sure this is the best hostel I've stayed at. The staff are friendly and fun, there are group activities ever day, group dinners and drinking games every night, the prices are reasonable and the facilities & accommodation are as good as anything you could ask for. Also, from my experience, the people that stay there are absolutely top drawer! Ace

Fantastic, clean and great social place to be. Pity that there is one huge sleeping room with bunks, makes sleeping a bit difficult sometimes. Otherwise good fun, wouldn't mind staying here again.

I ve stayed in A LOT of hostels, and I must say this on may be hands down the greatest experience. From the moment I walked in, Angel, the GM, welcomed me with open arms. Now the rest of the staff is also amazing! They treat you like they ve known you forever. You ll go here and feel as if thou you made a family. It s great for solo travelers (I am a solo traveler) because they have a free family dinner and everyone sits together and talks. I feel as if this hostel is a perfect combination of chill and relaxed but also, totally down to party. Now let s talk about the cleanliness. Every morning when I woke up there was a small Spanish lady scrubbing the bathrooms and mopping the floors. I usually shower in flip flops and walk around hostels with shoes. But the cleanliness and homelike atmosphere had me walking around barefoot and in pajamas! I promise you will not regret this. I m convinced I ve made some life long friends and memories just from this hostel alone. Cheers!

The staff makes you feel like family, with all the activities they plan, it's hard not to become close with everyone staying there. The hostel itself is clean, organized, very comfortable, and a great location next to the beach. I ended up booking 2 extra nights here, because I was so happy! I left with experiences I will never forget and friends for life. I hope you enjoy your stay here!

Hostel one ramblas is wonderful! The people are welcoming, well humored, helpful and inclusive. It's one of the best hostels I've been to. I find myself extending when I'm here just for a few more days. Places make traveling a good experience but people make traveling unforgettable. It's cozy. Like being at your best friend's house. There's daily activities. Everyone eats together. Making friends is effortless. At night there's games together before people go out. But on the days where you just want to relax it's nice too. Close to everything. Overall great vibes. Love the staff. Love the place. It was recommended to me by my friend Richard and I'd pay it forward and recommend them to anyone visiting Barcelona. It is a lovely hostel. Budget friendly. They make you feel like a family, there is family dinner, breakfast etc, to make you interact with others. That is just great.. Everyday they have some activity planned, to go to some beautiful place in the city. And night, there are pub crawls planned. It's highly recommended.

Be careful since I made my rwserva with free cancellation. They charged me for one night. I canceled the trip by el.covid and they do not want to refund the money!

I was only 1 night here. Hostel very clean, organized and managed perfectly. Wifi, 24h reception, common terrace, kitchen and living room always available with TV area and sofas. The dorm consists of bunk beds on the two walls. Each bed has a curtain for privacy and is provided with internal light and power socket. Separate bathrooms between men and women. Ideal place for those who need to pay little. Highly recommended.

What makes this hostel great are the people. It's clean and in a good location and the volunteers and staff are very warm and welcoming.

In fairness, this was my first attempt at a hostel and I'm not college aged anymore... The hostel was nicer enough but i just couldn't handle the small things.... You didn't have keys to your room, very limited someone and showers. There shower curtain was so close that it was physically clinging to me most of the shower.. there lick to the shower area was warped off so it wouldn't even completely close... The water pressure was amazing though... Then i ended up in s room with a girl who doesn't from 10pm till midnight in her bunk FaceTimeing her boyfriend... On speakerphone.. just weird to me that someone would do that in such close quarters. Overall i just want made for hostels. If they're your thing this is probably a really nice one.

super friendly staff!! although one night I had to sleep in a officially 8 bed dorm, which turned out to be a 16 bed dorm. during covid to me an unacceptable behaviour.

The place is very cool! For a couple of days you can stay calm, clean, new linens. Dinner is included, if George is cooking, then you are lucky.

I was sick and needed to sleep while I was here and the bunks were perfect, private and quiet at all times. Plus, when I was feeling better the hostel had lots of fun tours/activities. Great community vibe, met lots of fun folks!

They take you out on FREE walking tours and FREE pub crawls no entry as their friends. Not outsourced. They staff actually genuinely wantyou to have an amazing time. The dinners were the best X They are not into scamming you for money like most places. For God sakes stay away from Kabul hostel.

Unfortunately I could only stay one night. The atmosphere is very friendly, the beds are comfortable and practical, all good clean and tidy. Outputs very fun night but the prize goes to the staff. They make the stay is excellent.

This could be a good hostel, but it won't be comfortable until they take a few changes that I'm afraid they won't make. The biggest issue is a combination of a TV set in the only common area, and young Argentinian people managing the hostel. I've seen this before in other hostels in Barcelona where there's a lot of Argentinians (they are great people, but in my opinion their cultural habits are not good for hostels). When I was there the Argentinians took over the whole common area by playing a soccer game at the max volume of the TV. This will continue to happen as long as there's both the TV set and Argentinians. A TV is only a good thing in a hostel if there's other chill-common-areas for guests. Otherwise the common area gets monopolized by whoever has the remote control. Nowadays it's unnecessary since we all have phones and tablets to watch moves etc without bothering others. They forget that a hostel is a shared space. The TV set impedes or limits the spirit of the hostels, which is to socialize. They should get rid of it. Also those young Argentinian guys tend to make the hostel their home, cooking, etc in a way that doesn't prioritize the guests. Other smaller issues are: The only countertop of the kitchen should be clear of stuff. It's very small and full of food of the staff. There in only one bathroom (one shower and one toilet) upstairs for around 15 people. Other than that this could be a good hostel. Location is great, the facilities are modern and well maintained, and it's relatively clean.

There is a definite reason this hostel is rated so well. Friendly and fun atmosphere. The daily and nightly planned activities are quite enjoyable and add to the experience.

Amazing stay with you for the past few days! The staff was amazing and the facility was the cleanest I have seen in Europe so far! German helped us check in and out, provided us a map of the city, answered all of our questions and was a great help. He also took time to hang out with us, get to know us and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for making our trip so awesome. I will definitely be staying with hostle one again :)

Best hostel in town if you're looking for social contact and parties

What an amazing hostel. The concept they have makes you feel a part of a much bigger holiday or travelling experience. Ive stayed in lots of hostels and will try to find a Hostel One wherever i go in the future. Staff are amazing, i left some jewellery behind and they sent it back to the Uk for me. Bed setup means u get ur privacy and because there is 24 hour staff cover, they make sure you are not disturbed by other people coming back in the early hours. Would definitely go back thanks to Rob and his team.

First time staying at a Hostel. Really glad we picked this place over a hotel. It's a great way to meet people from across the world! The staff was really nice (Jonida you rock), although we didn't do the breakfast or dinner it is definitely a option if you are looking for something cheap/convenient. The $1 waters were life savers (I'm sure you can guess why), beds were comfy, we had no problems sleeping (for the 2 hours we were actually in bed), and they also have a washer/fold service. They also did drinking games, movie nights, group day tours, etc. I highly recommend this place! Safe travels, SP

Great social hostel, they do tours every day both in the early afternoon, and at take people out every night. There's free dinner and cheap breakfast. Bedding is a little worn, but it's nice to have a little privacy with the curtains. The staff are super friendly and sociable--pretty sure they're mostly volunteers who also like to travel.

Best environment ever, the people are so warm and welcoming and the community dinners are awesome! Great place to meet new people.

- 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas or subway stations. - Really awesome staff; very helpful and kind. - Great place to meet other travelers, the hostel hosts daily events to attractions around the city. - Cheap breakfast for 3 . Bread, cheese, meat, hard-boiled and raw eggs, cereal, milk, orange juice, muffins, coffee and tea. - Storage for backpacks are very spacious. Can easily fit my 80L backpack and day bag with room to spare. - 24 hour reception. - Beer and drinks are very cheap to but from hostel.

Had a fantastic stay at Las Ramblas Hostel one. Food was very nice. Great atmosphere. All the workers went above and beyond their call of duty. This would be the first hostel I booked if I were to visit Barcelona again.

Love to stay hear again. All famous places are on walking distance from hear.
