Hostel One Las Ramblas was the perfect place to stay in Barcelona! We came with a group of 4 and made so many new friends. The staff was really welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were always having fun (one of them even super-glued my heel when it broke on the way to the bar). They cook dinner for you and plan drinking games each night which was an awesome way to bond with the people staying there. Patrick, Josh, Angela and Dani were especially helpful, friendly and fun to hang out with - thanks guys!! Would highly recommend staying here if you re looking for a chill party hostel. -KC, Ale, Matt & Gabe

I had a great time at Hostel One Ramblas, and it offered more than many hostels I've been to. For a very small fee I had laundry service, a secure lock, and a very private bed in a big dorm. There was also a family dinner every evening with drinking games - it was such a nice way to meet other people staying at the hostel. For the nights where going out wasn't as appealing, a few of us watched movies in the common area. The hostel itself is a short walk from one of the main metro stations and getting around was very easy. I would definitely go back.
This place really knows how to incorporate all its guests. It s incredibly warm and welcoming and all staff and guests are all amazing. They host free tours, a meal and drinks games every night before heading out, allowing people to get even more familiar with each other from places ALL over the world. Fantastic hostel experience and will definitely be back here if I head to Barcelona again, without a doubt. Thanks Hostel One
Great place atmosphere and staff! Only stayed there for a night but this was my fourth stay at an hostel one and it was as good as all the others. Definitely recommend
Absolutely amazing experience at this hostel!! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and do their all to make sure you feel comfortable and welcome, not only at the hostel but to Barcelona as well. They make delicious dinners every night and theres a hostel organized event every day and every night too (awesome parties). The Hostel itself is spacious and clean and is steps away from the metro station which takes you everywhere. If i ever come back to Barcelona, this is definitely where ill stay. 10/5 stars!
I loved absolutely everything about my stay here. Barcelona and hostel one will always have a special place in my heart! Thank you so much to the sweet and amazing hosts for making this experience so special (seriously all of them but Sarah, Simona and Tanner were above and beyond)
One of the best hostels I ever stayed. The staff makes you feel part of a family and the free dinner is delicious! The sleeping area is also lively with curtains for each bed and a big locker.
Excellent hostel! The communal dinners and the outings that they organize are very fun and make to interact. The staff has all the vibe, I recommend it and would go back. A thousand grateful!
Very good experience. Super kind, talkative, partying, endearing. You know people and you have a great time. Every day they make a free dinner. I recommend it a lot.
Beds have privacy curtains and outlets. AC kept rooms cool. Breakfast includes an egg bake with potatoes and onions, cheese, pastries, juice, coffee, tea, breads, butter, jam, milk, cereal, etc. for 3 Euro. They contribute to a great social atmosphere by having free nightly dinners and activities every day and night. Their activities often include their guests from their other locations in Barcelona, so you get to meet ppl from your hostel as well as their other hostels. The hostel itself is great, but the best part about it is the staff. I was injured and ruptured 4 discs in my spine the day before I arrived. I didn't know the extent of the injury yet and had been told by a doc (who hadn't done any testing) that it was just a muscle pressing on my sciatic nerve. <br/>So I thought with meds I was ok the first day, but by the end of the day, after trying to lie down, I was in agony. It had gotten way worse. Knowing it wasn't just a muscle issue, I slowly limped out to reception to ask about a clinic. Even though I had trouble answering questions bc I was in so much pain, they were patient and kind with me. They helped me get an ambulance, they helped me organize my things, they helped read through my medical instructions to make sure I properly took all of the prescribed meds, they went to a 24 hr pharmacy in the middle of the night to fill medications, they helped me walk, etc. Once at the hospital, an MRI showed I had severe disc ruptures pressing on my spinal cord and nerves. This staff did everything they could to help me during this. I cannot state how grateful I am to have their help, each and every one of them. I hope whoever owns this hostel knows how truly wonderful their staff is, and that they went way above and beyond to help me.
This place is fantastic!! it's managed by wonderful people, only good vibes, all the staff members are truly amazing, specially Santi.. great experience, fun and adventurous! :D
Great hostel and staff. I was travelling solo and this was a great way to not feel so alone the entire time. The staff are great and go above and beyond to give suggestions of local sites, make sure you feel welcome and are having a good time. The nightly vegetarian dinners are really lovely and really help to bring everyone together to connect. My only complaint is lack of hot or warm water and the pillows. Make sure you shower early. I waited until the end of the day and it was chilly. Other than that, the location is great, other guests seemed to respect noise levels and it really felt like a community vibe. Huge shout out to Beth and Becca, but all the staff and volunteers are amazing!
Amazing hostel, staff are amazing as are the dinners they cook every night. Beds are comfy, as private as you get in a hostel and it's just generally a nice place
A very fun hostel to stay at. Great location and the staff are all very friendly and cool. The free dinners and nightly group outings make it really easy to get to know everyone. Really enjoyed my time here and can t wait to go back!
I was there for a paella and sangria lunch. I am staying with another hostel in the same chain. The food was great. It was traditional Valencian. The staff was very good as well.
I'll try to list some things, but trust me, they offer more than what you need.
Most importantly, the staff is awesome.
The hostel is very well equipped with absolutely everything you need. The kitchen with oven, microwave and fridge (no freezer). Mini Market just around the corner although the staff cooks free dinner every night at 9 pm.
Huge bathrooms with soap to wash your hands. Great space to shower. Hair dryer on request. They rent a towel for only 2 and it's for your entire stay. Bedrooms with drawer that can fit the entire content of a 20 kilos suitcase (mine) and also a locker where you can stow your cabin bag. Beds are comfortable and have curtains for privacy, each has a light and two electricity plugs.
Living room with TV and seats to hang out.
Huge dining room acomodates like 20 people easily.
Every day they organise activities during the day. For the night, you play drinking games after dinner. The hostel also organises your nightlife. They take to a bar and a club every night for free, without having to wait in line.
The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and very efficient.
Very friendly reception. By the sofas in the entrance, kitchens, dining area very comfortable and relaxed. Well, I found the can - everyone puts some money in and it cooks. The hostel-supervisors were very well taken care of everything and also in the evening for some mood. Who is a little more communicative and also has a desire for some action is right there. Not for people who want to go to bed early.
I got the 6 person room. It's awesome. I had no trouble sleeping (I sleep earlier than most) and the staff is really nice. The showers could be better though. I wasn't able to participate in the activities they do but they seem fun as well.
Hostel One Ramblas is an extremely welcoming hostel with a great location: metro, La Rambla and harbor just a few meters away. The welcome and friendliness of the people who manage the hostel is the thing that stands out the most, it feels like a big family, between board games and group outings both day and night. Once I get home I will miss this place a lot, I'm sure.
The volunteers that work here are what make this place great. You can't help but get to know everyone else in the hostel and make great connections with different people from all over the world.
The place is kept clean, everybody is respectful of each other and the staff are incredibly helpful.
