Awful experience for the Luis Miguel concert, they opened the gates at 6:45pm, no alcohol allowed, the staff without a clue, all this reflects a poor management, concerned only in making sales, don't even start me on the shuttle service, just a chaotic night, is time to reconsider coming back to the bowl, Luis Miguel did his best, but the screen was behind the lights, really bad experience, shame on the management

Going to the Hollywood Bowl is a fun experience, especially if you have a picnic before an event begins. Strongly recommend not parking there, but instead take one of the many shuttle buses that take you there from around the Los Angeles area.

We went for the first time to see Kevin Hart and it was an awesome experience. You can bring your own liquor and picnic basket if you like. They also sell wine and beer which is great. Being in an outdoor venue was a new experience. We will be back for more events. I only gave it 4 stars because the parking is HORRIBLE! Take the shuttle from Hollywood and highland.

What a wonderful evening celebrating LA Phil's 100th year at the Bowl. The picnic areas were filled with festive attendees. Saw the YOLA, LA Phil, Herbie Hancock, Katy Perry and Kali Uchis. Great close with John Williams directing Emperor March!

I like the bench seats, gave plenty of room for 2. You can rent a cushion if you like. The reason for 4 stars is for the wait time to get food. The workers were fast and friendly but serving 100+ people in a 15 minute intermission wasn't working out. I saw a good amount of people walk away.

Saw the Muppets Take the Bowl and the show plus the fireworks was incredible. Parking is as much a nightmare as you hear, but the staff and attendants are all kind and willing to help you. A fun and beautiful venue.

I have enjoyed my concert going experience greatly and with a profound sense of renewal at the Bowl; by using the shuttle service instead of self parking at the venue. There are several locations from which one can board the shuttle to the Bowl and save pr precious time; thus, enhancing the entire evening from beginning to end. More time for socializing, eating, drinking, and then the Music..... that's what life is about...
And a little more drinking since driving is not required.

I go to eight to ten shows every season. Movie's, Symphony, Popular singers and musicians. Always a great time. Traffic and parking getting to the bowl is terrible. Leave early if you can or take one of the shuttle busses. The last show I saw was Cafe Tecvba and one of the best I have seen there.

Garden box seats are the best, there is a table in the box for dining.

If you park in the Bowl lot ($20.00) if you are lucky to get on the back end of the row, if you wait a little while you can back up and they will let you through the barricades for the Taxi/Uber line. No waiting to get out with everyone else and it is a straight shot to the 101.

Wonderful concerts and movies here, take the Metro (and the free shuttle on Orange) and avoid the parking nightmare. Most events allow you to bring in your own alcohol and food. Perfect date night!

Don t call yourself a true Angelino until you ve gone to a concert at the Bowl. Literally all the big names come through covering all genres of music and theater. I suggest utilizing Uber to get you to and from the Bowl, traffic is horrible at any time of day around here. Only downside is the price of beer, over $10 for a Heineken is not at all appealing to me. But when in Rome

The bowl is my favorite music venue in Los Angeles for large shows. It's massive, so the back sections are quite far from the stage, but the design and massive video monitors do a good job making it not seem quite so far.

Fantastic venue! Bring your own food & drinks. Parking is minimal & a nightmare but shuttles available from all over, convenient, time saving & well organized. Disabled patrons have numerous options & assistance.
I highly recommend the vegetarian bahn mi, worth every penny of the $11.

Wonderful evening at Mozart Under the Stars at the Hollywood Bowl. Once again the LA Phil executed an impeccable performance. Loved the venue, friendly staff, and enjoyed the show while sipping rose and munching on fruit, cheese and crackers we brought from home. Fabulous night all-around.

It is great to be outside and watch a film. Leaving this place was a nightmare. People unaware of their surroundings, children in strollers, and insane parking lots. Great time at the event though.

Fantastic outdoor venue set into the hills of Hollywood. The music sounded great and there probably isn't a bad seat in the place. As it is everywhere, concessions are on the pricey side, but in true California style, you can buy a whole bottle of wine to take in and enjoy with your friends! We'd highly recommend parking blocks away and walking to get there. The traffic in, out, and around the venue is pretty crazy!!! We were happy not to be in that mess after the show.

Always a good time coming here, bring blankets to sit on (bench can be a bit rough) or to put over your shoulders if it gets chili. Think about bringing food and drinks! They sell all this but you can bring your own pick nick. They do not allow cameras with interchangeable lenses, leave your DSLR camera at home or you will have to check it...

About The Hollywood Bowl

The Hollywood Bowl is a legendary outdoor amphitheater located in the heart of Los Angeles, California. Since its inception in 1922, it has been the go-to destination for live music enthusiasts from all over Southern California and beyond. The venue has played host to some of the biggest names in music history, including Billie Holiday, The Beatles, and Yo-Yo Ma.

One of the most iconic features of the Hollywood Bowl is its concentric-arched band shell. This unique design allows for unparalleled acoustics and an immersive concert experience that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else. Whether you're sitting up close or way up high in one of the venue's many terraced seating sections, you'll feel like you're right in the middle of all the action.

But it's not just about great sound at The Hollywood Bowl - there's also plenty to see and do before and after each show. The venue boasts a wide variety of food and drink options, from classic hot dogs and popcorn to gourmet cuisine from some of LA's top chefs. And if you're looking for something extra special, consider booking one of their VIP packages which include access to exclusive lounges with private bars and premium seating options.

Of course, none of this would be possible without an incredible lineup of performers year after year. From classical orchestras to rock bands to pop superstars, there truly is something for everyone at The Hollywood Bowl. And with multiple shows per week during peak season (typically May through September), there are plenty of opportunities to catch your favorite artists live on stage.

So whether you're a lifelong fan or just looking for a fun night out with friends or family, be sure to check out what's happening at The Hollywood Bowl this season - tickets are available now!
