It's always wonderful to go to the bowl. You can bring your own picnic or buy something from the restaurants. There was hardly any place to have a picnic. Therefore your seats are a secure spot. I'm thankful that there was plenty of security and police presence. The parking lots A and ,B were full but you don't have to wait that long to exit. It was very well organized.
They lost 1 star because of the smokers.

Loved the venue but I was upset when the website says you can bring in coolers/alcohol...only to find out you could not bring in alcohol at the gate. I had a full cooler of beer. They should absolutely be more clear about their policies because something like that can really ruin someone s night, especially if you did not drive to the venue.

I've been going to the bowl since the 90's. This place is historic. No matter where you sit the acoustics are the best. Everyone should experience this in their lifetime. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Really fun time! Great concert space. Staff was organized especially shuffling all those people into a packed concert. Great service with servers. Don't spend $20 on pizza. It's like eating cardboard. Saw the Mixtape Tour and Hollywood Bowl didn't dissapoint.

The Hollywood Bowl. Just saying it conjures up its iconic half dome look and where its located in Hollywood CA. I honestly never thought I'd ever step foot in to this venue when I first moved to LA. but fast forward to several visits later, the bowl has become one of my favorite places to catch a live show. The sound is great from pretty much anywhere you sit, even from the cheap seats all the way in the back. You'll have a great time!

Things to know:
Since its all out doors, do bring something to cover up in cause the temperature does drop. And if you're sitting in the wooden bleachers DO bring a cushion or rent one for a few bucks.
A s far as parking goes, Ive always parked at Hollywood & Highland structure cause it looks like an F'ing mess trying to get out of the parking lot. There is a shuttle that takes you to the Bowl from Hollywood & Highland BUT...it costs extra (on top of the structure charge of $15), it can be crammed with people and if you're running late you will most likely miss a shows opening number's.

Seriously, its a 10-15 minute walk from A to B, use your feet if ya got em.

Beer, Wine (maybe cocktails?) and food is sold inside in case you forgot to eat 1st. Ive seen people bring in their own stuff so that's cool.Check the website for more specific do's & don'ts.

Finally, if you can swing it $$$ or got the 'hook-ups', Im told that the table/picnic seats and pit area are a real treat. If this is a 1st date with a special someone this place is perfect! I say if you wanna impress...crack open that wallet but only if you wanna treat her/him right to a memorable night.

Already looking forward to our next visit(s) in the near future! We'll stick to parking and walking getting there. Besides, the walk back to the car on Highland Ave. offers tons of bacon wrapped hot dog & knock off T shirt vendors you can bargain with at your own discretion.

Damn, I can already smell the grilled peppers & onions.

Very amazing venue and it's really unique with a nice atmosphere, but the seats are hard. Most importantly, do not park here. They use stacked parking so you can sit in the parking lot for a while waiting for people in front of you to leave. Park somewhere else and come with with a shuttle or something.

Best place in LA for a concert. The Hollywood bowl had such great acoustics, I've been to so many shows here and the sound is great everywhere in the venue. The video screens they have are great when you have seats near the back. If you can get seats down near the front they have tables, you can bring food and eat during your show. I can't wait to see my next concert at the bowl !!!

Hollywood Bowl! An amazing place to see and enjoy a variety of outstanding performers. The best part is you can pay $6-7 to park & ride avoiding traffic and bring your own food/ drinks. It's a great experience! Live music while picnicking, sipping and eating solo or with friends. Love this place!! I've been blessed with enjoying many artists here! Hope you do too!!

This venue is so awesome. You can bring food and drinks inside, and there are no bad seats in the house. The only thing that I will be honest about is that parking is usually a nightmare! We just utilized the park and ride off of Ventura. It was so easy, and only $6 a person

This is one of LA s gems. If you want to have a great time - check out the Hollywood bowl. You can bring your own food and alcohol. When it s packed there s about 17,000 people there. However; it s extremely well organized. I parked in Culver City and took the bus.

What an amazing location. We went to a Sunday jazz concert with a picnic of wine, cheese, crackers and assorted sliced charcuterie. The sound system is loud, clear and evenly distributed around the Bowl. I felt safe because the security is excellent, the aisles are wide and even the entrances and exits are well planned. The toilets are clean and there are plenty of them. Parking is challenging but you can park down the bottom of the hill or get the park and ride. They recommend you get there an hour early but we didn't and it was ok.

It's worth it to visit the bowl at least once. To see the amphitheater full to capacity is a sight to behold in itself. There is an electric energy when that many people gather in one spot. Parking is a nightmare and not worth it. They are streamlining uber and lyft pickups but it's just chaos when the shows are over. I've seen a bunch of differen't shows here. I will only go again if I get to sit in the boxes as you can't see the performers (except on the big screen) unless you're close. It's one of the largest stages I've ever seen. I prefer the Greek Theater for life performance.

It was an incredible experience to see John Williams here. We were in bench seats but still could see everything because of the multiple big TV's. The sound system was amazing. There is a plethora of places to eat from or bring your own. Outside food is welcomed and there are plenty of picnic tables. The parking is tough though. It is stacked parking and you are not going anywhere for a very long time. Take a shuttle if you can. So fast and efficient

Saw Kevin Hart here last week and I've also seen The Weeknd at this venue. They do not have many drinks to choose from other than wine, beer and sangria. Other than that this place was great

Great venue for concerts, period! Oh, except for parking. Horrible! Do yourself a HUGE favor, and take a shuttle, from any of about eight pickup spots around the valley and L.A. $7 per person, which is expensive for a bumpy ride in older passenger busses! Oh, but wait, the parking ranges from$22 to $66 per vehicle! Save money, nerves, and time!

Great place with a beautiful ambiance. However, I was disappointed when I purchased a bottle of wine for 70 dollars and it turned out to be the equivalent large size at McDonald's. They poured it in a cup. Total rip and definitely misleading!!

You must arrive early to make the security line. It depends on what artist there on stage is whether security is intense or not. Do not carry bottles either glass or metal because you cannot enter them. Only talk and factory seal. No selfie sticks. The infrastructure is suitable for people with disabilities. It has a section of bathrooms by level. The deployed support team is spectacular, the boys find your seats. If you don't have a cushion, you can rent one for a dollar

Great venue. Try and book tickets for shows before you visit L.A. since tickets go fast. You can take food and drink in with you (it's quite pricey to buy when you get there and I saw plenty of people bring in food in ruck sacks). Audience stood up and sang the American national anthem before show started when I visited - I mimed.

About The Hollywood Bowl

The Hollywood Bowl is a legendary outdoor amphitheater located in the heart of Los Angeles, California. Since its inception in 1922, it has been the go-to destination for live music enthusiasts from all over Southern California and beyond. The venue has played host to some of the biggest names in music history, including Billie Holiday, The Beatles, and Yo-Yo Ma.

One of the most iconic features of the Hollywood Bowl is its concentric-arched band shell. This unique design allows for unparalleled acoustics and an immersive concert experience that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else. Whether you're sitting up close or way up high in one of the venue's many terraced seating sections, you'll feel like you're right in the middle of all the action.

But it's not just about great sound at The Hollywood Bowl - there's also plenty to see and do before and after each show. The venue boasts a wide variety of food and drink options, from classic hot dogs and popcorn to gourmet cuisine from some of LA's top chefs. And if you're looking for something extra special, consider booking one of their VIP packages which include access to exclusive lounges with private bars and premium seating options.

Of course, none of this would be possible without an incredible lineup of performers year after year. From classical orchestras to rock bands to pop superstars, there truly is something for everyone at The Hollywood Bowl. And with multiple shows per week during peak season (typically May through September), there are plenty of opportunities to catch your favorite artists live on stage.

So whether you're a lifelong fan or just looking for a fun night out with friends or family, be sure to check out what's happening at The Hollywood Bowl this season - tickets are available now!
