Awesome place!!! Beautiful!!!! Going back in the fall!!!!!!!!
Very nice place to visit only two complaints I thought $62 for me my wife and three kids was a bit much then there were several wedding parties quarantining walkways off for pictures, I paid too much money to walk around on this property to be selfishly cut off from areas. Photoshoots should not be allowed!
BEAUTIFUL PLACE!! It's a little pricey but in the spring when everything is in full bloom, it's breathtaking. Worth the trip
Holden is a wonderful place to visit and just roam around for however long you can. We caught their installation in fall of 2020 and it was gorgeous as always. The tower is great if you don't mind heights, you can see the lake on a clear day. It's worth the trip but don't forget to grab a map before you set off.
Amazing place with so many things to do! Highly recommend getting a membership and supporting The Holden Arboretum!
Beautiful nature center, there is plenty to do and see. It costs $14 for adults to get in and do the canopy walk/tower. Definitely worth it for a day trip.
Fire tower and the canopy walk are awesome. Definitely worth the price. Lots of gardens! And so many trails!
We re nice and well cared landscape park with a lot of trees, bushes and flowers. It s looks very different every a few weeks. Love it.
Great place for the family and/or romantic day with your significant other.
Located in Kirtland not Willoughby. Holden is a truly beautiful place in all seasons Great great gardens, and beautiful natural areas. If you like to hike, the challenging 3 mile Pierson's Creek Old Valley Trail loop is one of the most beautiful hikes in NE Ohio through a pristine natural landscape unlike you will find in metropolitan or state parks.
Beautiful arboretum with late spring and later fall colors. You need a membership to enter.
Absolutely breathtaking grounds. Much to see, including suspended foot bridge, 12 flight tower, tram rides(not running that day due to big event), many interesting buildings.
If you take all the trees and put them in a tree museum you'll get Holden Arboretum! You will be amazed and amused this summer between the terrific trees of all shapes and sizes; you will marvel at the diversity of wild life scampering by your feet! Be on the lookout for chipmunks, frogs, toads and groundhogs! Go in the early morning; they open at 9 a.m. and ENJOY;^)
I've loved the Arboretum for years. It seems every time I go I see something new. This time we walked the canopy and the tower and it was truly amazing. If you're afraid of heights, maybe think twice - but the views are incredible. Note, too, that the walk up the tower is a pretty good workout and not for the faint of heart - or legs, knees, or feet.
Amazingly Beautiful and in our back yard!

- Nice place to relax - GREAT educational postings - Excellent & very knowledgeable staff - Bonus: At each section they have factual booklets. - Nice scenery traveling to & from
Loved it, went on a bright sunny day
Can't wait to visit again when everything blooms back
What a great place to go for a walk, see some amazing trees and bushes and flowers, and have a nice time as the seasons change. Being dog friendly and having lots of great events cement the arboretum as one of the best places in North East Ohio.
Beautiful!! Super lovely to stroll around these paths! Nice visitors center with clean bathrooms, a cute gift shop, and snacks available for purchase. The tower & canopy walk are very cool!!
Amazing walking paths. The parking lot was packed when we went but the place is so big it was nowhere near crowded.
Gone here for birthdays and special occasions a number of times. The setting and gardens are just lovely. You could easily spend an entire day, but bring a picnic because I don't believe there are food venues on site.
It was an ok experience during my first visit to this place. I went during the starting of the fall season. The trees have not changed its color much. It may be a better experience during the final fall season. Canopy walk was ok but the waiting for climbing the tower was not worth.
Beautiful place to walk around and relax in nature. Loved sitting by the lake and the observation tower. They could improve their map and signage as navigation was a bit difficult. Also, the canopy walk was underwhelming. I thought we would be able to see over a canopy of trees, but it was really just an elevated, and crowded, walk in the woods.
Always knew it was there, just didn't know how huge the place is. Thoroughly loved and enjoyed my 1st visit. Made for a very relaxing day enjoying nature with the family.
My favorite garden in the Cleveland area! Compares to the NYBG.
Peaceful, tranquil, beautiful! Everyday there's something you should see in nature
Great place for exploring the outdoors. Plenty of walking trails for day hikes too.
Member here. Great place for outdoor activities. New tower and bridge are great attraction here. My favorite park is the butterfly garden.
it was alright. pretty in a very man made not natural way, but still kinda nice. the tower is pretty cool
The Butterfly Garden was a sight to behold and totally took my breath away. It was gorgeously done with ponds, walkways, bridges, and the most lovely array of colorful flowers. The Canopy Walk's architecture in itself, was impressive. It really does give you the feeling of walking among the trees...
We made the trip for my birthday, and it was a perfect way to spend the day. There are beautiful grounds, the canopy walk is really neat, and the lookout tower was amazing. I hope we return again soon.
Took my grandson today. Beautiful and gorgeous walks! We loved the canopy walk and tower at Holden Arboretum!
Beautiful friendly place to enjoy the day with the family
beautiful and large park. a lot to see and do here - from canopy walks to observation tower. plan for a full day if you want to explore different parts.
Always a lovely experience, no matter the time of year.
Beautiful, well maintained, with plenty of places to explore. I highly recommend talking to the workers/guides there, they are very knowledgeable.
We arrived from over an hour drive to do the canopy walk and emergent tower. We were told that due to rain in the area, the tower would be closed on and off, but our tickets would be good for next time we came. As soon as we parked the car, it began pouring rain, and we asked what to do since it was to be raining all day from there on out. What they neglected to tell us was that our $12 a person day passes could not be given back as a rain check. What a rip off, we threw $24 away to drive an hour, sit in the car in the rain for a half hour and drive back home. Needless to say, we will not be coming back to spend yet another $24 to attempt to use our $8 skywalk tickets...great way to throw away $32 and poorly explained and handled rain check policy
It's a beautiful place we took the students there for art and they were taking down the things from the Halloween if they had
Absolutely gorgeous place to take a walk or hike, great for all ages and ability levels
Soooo pretty. U Gotta go. Treetop lookout + Flowers + Butterflies = Happy
Was visiting the area and happened to visit Holden the day the new Canopy Walk opened to the public. What an unexpected treat. Wish we had a couple days to explore all the nooks.
Absolutely beautiful place. You can easily spend the whole day there. It's good for the whole family, lots spots for picnic, hiking or just sit enjoy the flowers and ponds. The view from the tower was absolutely stunning. It might not be for you if you are scared of heights. The canopy walk also nice, kids definitely will enjoy it. Overall, great experience!!!
I think it is overpriced. I was disappointed that I paid extra to walk on the bridges in the trees because it only took about 5 minutes to get around & they wouldn't let us go around again. It is very cool though the way they engineered the bridges in the trees.
A fantastic place to connect with nature. In a setting so grand and deliberate, the Holden Arboretum sparks the imagination and challenges visitor's to discover its beauty. GO SEE this jewel of a resource!
Absolutely fantastic! We are from a crowded city and this peaceful getaway was exactly what we needed. We went to the emerson tower, the canopy walk, and then sat at Corning lake for well over an hour. It's perfect "local" getaway. It was worth a drive from columbus during these times.
Amazing place to visit when wanting to connect with nature. My kids who normally don t like to do the same things, really enjoyed themselves and it was a great family day. The grounds are just beautiful
A hidden gem on the east side of Cleveland. Beautiful grounds with wonderful and knowledgeable volunteers. Definitely worth a visit if you need to get away from all the hustle and bustle.
Liked it, pretty place ta take my girlfriend who loves flowers. Made her smile 4 stars, if I get lucky tonight I'll give it 5.
There needs to be a bathroom in the woods, outhouse or something
So much natural beauty. A great variety of activities for people of all ages and abilities. Loved it!
A lovely walk, especially during the fall. Worth the money to do the tower and canopy walk.
Great place to be close to nature, very educational as well. Love the canopy walk and tower.
It's all about getting out and be in nature great views, peaceful just a good place to walk with the family.
Definitely one of my go-to places! Absolutely love walking the paths and seeing the beautiful sites this place has to offer. Highly recommend!
Beautiful. Stunning. Brilliant. Refreshing. All words to describe this arboretum. Plenty of parking with a wonderful layout and friendly staff. The prices are extremely reasonable and there is PLENTY to do here. You could get lost in all of the passageways and trails. The canopy walk and tower are must-do's while you're here and offer amazing views of the forest around you. The flower beds and arrangements are maintained beautifully. You'll have a great time here and find many moments for beautiful photos.
