Very nice place to visit only two complaints I thought $62 for me my wife and three kids was a bit much then there were several wedding parties quarantining walkways off for pictures, I paid too much money to walk around on this property to be selfishly cut off from areas. Photoshoots should not be allowed!

Holden is a wonderful place to visit and just roam around for however long you can. We caught their installation in fall of 2020 and it was gorgeous as always. The tower is great if you don't mind heights, you can see the lake on a clear day. It's worth the trip but don't forget to grab a map before you set off.

Located in Kirtland not Willoughby. Holden is a truly beautiful place in all seasons Great great gardens, and beautiful natural areas. If you like to hike, the challenging 3 mile Pierson's Creek Old Valley Trail loop is one of the most beautiful hikes in NE Ohio through a pristine natural landscape unlike you will find in metropolitan or state parks.

If you take all the trees and put them in a tree museum you'll get Holden Arboretum! You will be amazed and amused this summer between the terrific trees of all shapes and sizes; you will marvel at the diversity of wild life scampering by your feet! Be on the lookout for chipmunks, frogs, toads and groundhogs! Go in the early morning; they open at 9 a.m. and ENJOY;^)

I've loved the Arboretum for years. It seems every time I go I see something new. This time we walked the canopy and the tower and it was truly amazing. If you're afraid of heights, maybe think twice - but the views are incredible. Note, too, that the walk up the tower is a pretty good workout and not for the faint of heart - or legs, knees, or feet.

What a great place to go for a walk, see some amazing trees and bushes and flowers, and have a nice time as the seasons change. Being dog friendly and having lots of great events cement the arboretum as one of the best places in North East Ohio.

Gone here for birthdays and special occasions a number of times. The setting and gardens are just lovely. You could easily spend an entire day, but bring a picnic because I don't believe there are food venues on site.

It was an ok experience during my first visit to this place. I went during the starting of the fall season. The trees have not changed its color much. It may be a better experience during the final fall season. Canopy walk was ok but the waiting for climbing the tower was not worth.

Beautiful place to walk around and relax in nature. Loved sitting by the lake and the observation tower. They could improve their map and signage as navigation was a bit difficult. Also, the canopy walk was underwhelming. I thought we would be able to see over a canopy of trees, but it was really just an elevated, and crowded, walk in the woods.

The Butterfly Garden was a sight to behold and totally took my breath away. It was gorgeously done with ponds, walkways, bridges, and the most lovely array of colorful flowers. The Canopy Walk's architecture in itself, was impressive. It really does give you the feeling of walking among the trees...

We made the trip for my birthday, and it was a perfect way to spend the day. There are beautiful grounds, the canopy walk is really neat, and the lookout tower was amazing. I hope we return again soon.

We arrived from over an hour drive to do the canopy walk and emergent tower. We were told that due to rain in the area, the tower would be closed on and off, but our tickets would be good for next time we came. As soon as we parked the car, it began pouring rain, and we asked what to do since it was to be raining all day from there on out. What they neglected to tell us was that our $12 a person day passes could not be given back as a rain check. What a rip off, we threw $24 away to drive an hour, sit in the car in the rain for a half hour and drive back home. Needless to say, we will not be coming back to spend yet another $24 to attempt to use our $8 skywalk tickets...great way to throw away $32 and poorly explained and handled rain check policy

I think it is overpriced. I was disappointed that I paid extra to walk on the bridges in the trees because it only took about 5 minutes to get around & they wouldn't let us go around again. It is very cool though the way they engineered the bridges in the trees.

Absolutely fantastic! We are from a crowded city and this peaceful getaway was exactly what we needed. We went to the emerson tower, the canopy walk, and then sat at Corning lake for well over an hour. It's perfect "local" getaway. It was worth a drive from columbus during these times.

Beautiful. Stunning. Brilliant. Refreshing. All words to describe this arboretum. Plenty of parking with a wonderful layout and friendly staff. The prices are extremely reasonable and there is PLENTY to do here. You could get lost in all of the passageways and trails. The canopy walk and tower are must-do's while you're here and offer amazing views of the forest around you. The flower beds and arrangements are maintained beautifully. You'll have a great time here and find many moments for beautiful photos.
