Beautiful well-marked trails, some hikes as short as a half mile, others longer, up to two or three miles. Lots of interesting facts and classes about plants, trees, insects, wildlife, and gardening in the visitor's center and library.

What an awesome place. Went on the gulch guided tour. Beautiful formations. Allows us to actually walk in the shale carved stream and up the waterfall. Strongly recommend to attend the guided tour.

Looks pretty but I didn t see anywhere on their website that you have to buy reservations for the fall. To be fair I did check last a couple months ago, but perhaps that should be front page information for out of town visitors to know months in advance. Driving 2.5 hours to be turned away kind of stunk. At least there s a nice glen park down the road.

A cold front just hit the area although spring has arrived, but nonetheless the Arboretum was a beautiful place to spend a few hours. One of the staff said that the canopy and towers opens in a month.

The arboretum has trails, scenic views, gardens, tours, and education offerings. It is a dog-ear park. The canopy walk and emergent tower are two unique offerings, so be sure you arrive early to get tickets before they sell out for the day.

Beautifully landscaped. A great trip for the whole family. Took my daughter (2 at that time) and my 5 year old nephews, they had such a blast. A great trip for all ages. You will need cash too do the observation tower, and canopy walk. But it's worth it, especially with kids!

Such a beautiful place to visit! I would recommend going in the fall when all the leaves are changing for the best views! It's a little pricey, but once you are in and start walking around the grounds it is definitely worth it! Aside from just getting to walk around the grounds which are filled with lots of trees, flowers, and plants, there are two main features to see which are the canopy walk, and the tower that overlooks high above the trees. Both definitely worth it!

Beautiful place. Much bigger then we realized. You can easily spend a whole afternoon walking around enjoying the outside, relaxing, and even having a picnic or cookout. Didn't realize we could bring our dog - looking forward to that next time!

Very tranquil and peaceful. Only negative experience was trucking all the way up to the Canopy Walk and Emergent Tower, only to be told we had to purchase tickets....and they can only be purchased at the visitor's center.....which was at the very front of the Arboretum. It is not a quick, easy hike. Suffice it to say I did not lug my kids all the way back to the visitor's center and back to the Canopy and tower, we were disappointed to miss this experience. My kids were upset at not being able to do it, but they are 6, 3 and 1.....hiking bacl up there was not going to happen. We got a good hike in, but had to miss out on the best parts of the place. In the future consider selling tickets at the actual location, because the couple that came up behind us also did not have tickets and we're upset at not being able to try the experience. And as a side note, there was absolutely no one on the tower when we arrived. It looked amazing, but can't comment on whether it would have been worth the ticket purchases.

Great place to check out. When my wife and I went, we walked all around the park plus did the observation tower and the sky walk. Those were both neat but spent a lot (and I mean a lot) of time in line. I know there is not much that can be done about that but was sort of a bummer to have to spend so much time in line when we were at a park. If you go, you should try some of the all natural popsicles they sell in the cooler inside... they are great!

Was disappointed in the lack of support and organization for schools wanting to visit the new Canopy Walk. I was told they are not offering any group tours and when I stated I teach special education there seemed to be even less they could offer to help my students visit.

What a fantastic gem. Trails are well marked and maintained. Electric tram ride with guide Bob was informative and fun. Bob involved all the senses with leaves, nuts and flowers. Very good place to go.

Amazing place to just chill on the benches or take a leisurely stroll.through the massive space. We went in late fall so no flowers were in bloom but still a very pleasurable visit. The canopy walk is truly remarkable. Only took one visit for us to become members.

I can t say enough good things about this place. It s a great family activity to go for a walk through some of the best flower and trees. The emerging tower and canopy walk are a must. Bring your dogs.

Beautiful vistas and great, well marked hiking trails The guided tour through Stebbins Gulch is well worth it - wear waterproof boots though and should be reasonably comfortable hiking terrain that can be a little rocky.
