Great place for pleasure walks and hiking. Extremely well-groomed year round. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of events to attend.

Family Membership is about $80 per year but well worth it, especially if you plan to visit frequently. Canopy walks and Emergent Tower are free with membership. Admission to Cleveland Botanical Gardens free with membership as well, inquire at front desk.

The skywalk and towers are a must. Reasonable cost to visit. A lot of trails to walk and explore. It is a beautiful place with stuff for the whole family. Especially beautiful in the spring or the fall. Plenty of parking though some of it is on grass/gravel which is a bit of a walk to the entrance. Great place for all ages!

I only wish. I had know of this Arboretum sooner. My Father had a love, and passion for flowers, and plants. He would of true been over welhemed by all the beautiful plants in bloom. Just breath taking. A place to take your family to enjoy the outside, and surrounding area.

The canopy walk and the tower were amazing. With a membership you can go to both the Cleveland Botanical Gardens and the Holden arboretum. Reciprocal previledges with many arboreta.

Family membership is a great way to go if not just passing through.

Lovely place to go for a hike . The tower and canopy tree walk were fun . Felt the canopy tee walk was a very short one . Don't forget to pay at the entrance if you would like to go to these two places . If you don't pay , you can go around the place and hike but I suggest paying and going to the two places .

Really good place for a day with the kids. It was nuclear hot the day we were there so we didn't last long but we plan on coming back in the fall for a full day. Utilize the picnic area and charcoal grills. Highly recommend the canopy tower... sways in the wind a bit so yeah, exciting.

I go for walks here everyday since I live right around the corner. A true treasure of natural beauty all year round. Lots of tails to get lost on and a well maintained visitor center with lots of amenities. A very peaceful place, so don't come here and crowd it up.

Surprisingly compact area in Arboretum includes the main draws of Murch Canopy Walk and Kalberer Family Emergent Tower. Plenty of plaques explaining trees you're seeing and related information. Display and Wildflower Gardens were more attractive, informative and memorable for my money. Ditto the Rhododendron Discovery Garden. Heath Pond is so placid and calming. A delight to sit and watch. Woodland Trail is exactly what the name implies. Note that it remains at the top of the valley. If you want to really get into the woods, The Offut boardwalk takes you down into the valley and along the stream without getting wet or muddy feet. No breeze down here so the insects are noticeable. What goes down must come up again so mind the climb you'll find on the Valley Trail that the Offut boardwalk leads into. Holden is well worth visiting in different seasons to see the dramatic changes that occur.

Wow what an experience. I used to go here as a young man and how it's changed---all for the better. I climbed the tower and could see all the way to Lake Erie (clear day). I hiked a trail. Beautiful place. Highly recommend.

Holden has been on my bucket list for several years but have never had the chance to go. We took fill advantage of the beautiful fall day yesterday and made the hour drive and boy was it worth it! The entire place was breathtakingly beautiful. All the little gardens and paths were fun to explore. I will definitely be back!

Everything was gorgeous. My favorite was the water lily pond. They could treat their members better. Our friend had to walk all the way back to the center to get tickets for the canopy walk.

We had no idea what to expect, WE FREAKING HAD AN AWESOME DAY. It's so beautiful, we are going back up in another month to see all the changes in the leaves. And the lookout tower holy heck, I am afraid of heights and didn't even think about it climbing up there but boy is it beautiful up there well worth the trip. We stopped at Mitchell's ice cream over by beechwood after. Beautiful day beautiful sights.

This place is beautiful! It does have an entrance fee and you need tickets for the bridge and tower exhibit but it's well worth the cost. It's a big reservation with lots of different things to see. The arboretum is very well maintained. Bring your dog and a picnic basket, you'll have a wonderful time here.

Loved our walk. Didn't make the canopy walk or tower before the rain, but still totally worth the gate fee AND we can take our canopy/tower tickets and use them at a later date! If you need to be forced to be entertained and cannot just enjoy nature this is NOT for you. Everyone else... I highly recommend spending some time here.
