Meh

Staying within guidelines.

Staying within guidelines.
Without doubt the worst casino that i have come across.
Have seen plenty.
I revisited, after a two year absence to check if i was mistaken? But no, its pathetic.
Think it opened in the 1980s and it was GRAND...BRILLIANT
Its now a rat hole, fire trap with no appeal and charging patrons top dollar for the inconvenience.
PLEASE go check it out, and review back that i mistakenly reported ADELAIDE CASINO.
Honestly a sad place.
Don't waste your money. It has been an embarrassment for years, and we can only hope they can..... Redesign this Shambles, and deliver a World Class Development that repairs old wounds endured by visitors from everywhere that spent Their money here.
Staff were fine.
They only have so much to work with.
Sad.

Existing casino-
Great location being right in the centre of Adelaide above the historic adelaide railway station, plenty of bars, sports bars, gaming, restaurants and night life. Sean s kitchen being a favourite. Open 24 hours so arrive and leave at any time of the day.
New Skycity expansion-
An iconic landmark 10 years in the making
Adelaide s first 6 star hotel, new sports bars, restaurants, high rollers rooms and more gaming.
Just what adelaide needs on the riverbank festival plaza

Thanks to the SA government putting pokies in all pubs, the Casino has had to lower their standards in who they allow in. Drunks and singlets are not befitting of an establishment as this. I wont be back.

Poor payouts. VIP room benefits have reduced, and no cashier after certain time, had to go downstairs. Member points accumulate too little for large spend. No dress code, patrons very shabby. Upstairs pokie area no atmosphere, no class, access only from one end with long walk back to access downstairs. Feels closed in. All in all the quality of service, and atmospere has reduced markedly over recent years.

It's amazing how they connected the new to the old which I guess was in the wood works since development...
And it almost feels like your walking outside when you walk through the back entrance that just opens up to the world. And the members rewards are anything but under par.

I arrived at the casino and was told I was too intoxicated. The thing is there is a difference in being intoxicated and your feet hurting from Wearing heels. I told them it was the heels but they refused me anyway. My friend came out a few seconds later and told me they were talking about not letting the teretts person in. Yes I was angry about not been let in but there is no need to make things up about someone, and mock an actual disorder that some people have.

As i first time vistor frrom the word go. Staff at front entrance, Service Desk. Girls in The Central Cafe staff staff in bars and gaming lounge. And Made me feel very wrlcome. Just for joining I got a $10 voucher plus 10% off. The place is very clean and user friendly. Food very reasonably priced and to die for. Will call again for sure. 1000* for your effort.

If you're in to gaming/ gambling after the recent renovations it offers many choices.

The upstairs bar has regular live music and a great energy.

Drinks are well priced. Not sure if they sell food though.

Absolute rubbish. Wouldn't even call it a casino. Horrible customer service, they all act like they are privileged and the customers are scum. Never going back again. The Star and Crown Casinos are the real casinos to go to.

The Adelaide Casino used to be a fabulous, classy place. Somewhere you would end your night in style. Alas over the years it has lost its specialness and the crowd at times is a little ordinary.
The chandelier Bar is still a lovely spot and Madame Hanoi out the front is absolutely amazing for food and atmosphere.
Apart from that, I really think there are better places to spend your time with friends and to enjoy a drink - except of course if you are out to have a casino/gambling night, then it s probably the right spot.

Great place with lots of gaming machines and an uplifting atmosphere. Can be crowded on Friday and Saturday nights in particular. Can access directly from the railway station or via the free city trams. Food can be a bit pricey, except for the upstairs cafe. Great place to hang around and watch footy. However, it's not at the same level as the crown casino in Melbourne.

Great entertainment.

The place is being renovated
Should be even better when finished

This was the restaurant down the side of casino, near the pokies. Not sure what it is called. Ordered the eggs Benedict off the all day breakfast menu with salmon. Service was lovely, seating area was relaxing clean and comfortable. Eggs were perfectly cooked and sauce was nice. The bun was too sweet and the texture was, in my opinion, wrong for this meal. Could have overlooked the bun choice if the whole meal hadn't been cold - even though the eggs were nice and runny inside there was no warmth to them. I don't understand how this happens, can you pre-cook eggs?

Adelaide Casino is building its own Hotel to maximise its income rather than referring International and Interstae Customers to the Adelaide Intercontinental Hotel. Due to this new addition, Adelaide Casino's management has decided to reduce drastically the "freebies" or Complimentary drinks. The free alcoholic drinks are a thing of the past. The former cloakroom (removed) now has even more poker machines. Adelaide Casino is getting more poker machines which will concentrate and increase their tendency to become a monopolistic poker machine "Capital" of South Australian. They have recently introduced problem gambler help person. Talking to this new recruit, we asked "How do you know if someone is a problem gambler?" They could not answer is question adequately. We suggested that they may identify a problem gambler when they get a sledge hammer out to smash the machines that have destroyed their lives after selling their family home, and other assets. Probably explains why the former Senator Nick Xenophon was against the highly concentrated monopolistic powers which SkyCity (New Zealand owned) company is against the massive damage that can and does occur with Problem Gamblers!

Adelaide Casino used to provide free complimentary alcoholic drinks for gamblers on the machines and the gambling tables so that the alcohol will detrimentally impair the gamblers decision making. So bad gambling decisions are made with the helpful help of the smiling Adelaide Casino workers.
