Terrible. I don't normally do reviews, if a place doesn't deliver I just don't go back or recommend it to friends. The view is lovely, but the most over priced and poorly made, over iced and watered down cocktails I have ever purchased. I had to revert to beer, and I'm not even a beer drinker they were so poor.

Was a very poor night, the service was bad. We had our work doo there. Our platters never came out on time. We had to ask where our last platter was, she brings it out as we were about to leave as the barman had called last drinks.
Not good at all. Will not be back.

We booked with this hotel specially for this venue to find out our booking got cancelled as you took a function. So disappointed with no notification along with paying for a upgrade to then ve put in a standard room with no view fronting the road !

Not happy and a waste of money for accommodation...could have stayed in city for cheaper and nicer accommodation.

Balcony table was filthy too.

Fabulous venue for my friends post wedding celebrations last night
The delightful Courtney, who was working behind the bar is a credit to your Hotel. She has excellent customer skills and was so pleasant, the bar was very busy during this function and Courtney remained friendly & helpful the whole time
I will be recommending this bar to friends, think it's better than a certain other Valley rooftop bar
Eagles Nest is a great secret rooftop destination. Perfect for special occasions

Wonderful function centre, with fantastic meals and snacks provided either in the function room or at the restaurant downstairs. The function room is on the 12th floor with great (maybe not "commanding") views of Kangaroo Point and the Brisbane River.

Attended this bar for a private work function. Great friendly staff and service all night. The venue is great and has beautiful views. Only downsides are the very few toilets available on the roof level and the fact smokers need to go to the ground level.

Would recommend :)

Had my birthday drinks here at the Eagle's Nest bar, all the staff very friendly and helpful with drinks, food and our cake. Amazing views looking all over the city and surrounds - a hidden secluded gem in Brisbane to have a great afternoon & night out with friends! I highly recommended this place.

SPECTACULAR VIEWS, friendly staff. Stopped in pretty early on a Friday for a couple drinks. Decent selection in the bottle but only one on tap. Tried the cheese plate too, generous portions. Pricing seemed pretty typical, no premium for the view. Would stop by again if in the area.

Been there for New Years Eve and it seemed like they did it the first time.
Food was really good, however, they ran out of whiskey at 11pm. I don't even know how something like this can happen as they knew exactly how many people will come.
Also the DJ was just a woman putting requested Spotify songs in a queue. That's something my 10 year old sister could've done. The whole night was just some random songs one after another.
Even though they said it's open til 1 30 the so called "DJ" packed her stuff at 0 30 and there was no more music, also all the staff left the bar so there was only one girl left pouring drinks and she was obviously unable to cope with that. You had to tell her where the different kind of liquors were located in the shelf.
Sad to say this was the worst NYE in my life so far and also the most expensive.
I don't blame the staff because they tried their best but it was so poorly executed that you might think a 9th grader planned it.

I won a $500 bar tab prize for Eagles Nest Brisbane (via a giveaway run by Zomato Brisbane), and used it to host a little gathering at this rooftop bar - sharing the sunset views, plus some drinks and food, with friends old and new.
.
Everyone got to pick a drink of choice upon arrival - the most popular choice of the night was the bubble trouble ($20) - the venue's wickedly good, spell binding signature, featuring bubble gum infused vodka, pavan, blackberry liqueur, lemon, soda & gomme.

Food wise I pre-ordered some items to share. The first two rounds of items came on time:
* spiced mixed nuts, $8.50
* cheese board, $25 - walnut bread, lavosh, quince
* beer battered chips, $9 - spiced tomato chutney, aioli
* turkish bread, $16 - duo of dips, dukkah, extra virgin olive oil

But the rest of the food (including some additional orders made on the night) was severely delayed, some by more than an hour, even after my chasing them up multiple times:
* truffled fries, $10 - truffle oil, parmesan, aioli
* tori karaage, $14 - ginger, yuzu
* chef's pizza, $21 - house made dough, seasonal ingredients
* salt & pepper squid, $15 - ponzu, lemon
* panko coconut prawns, $14.50 - lime, coriander aioli

Didn't realise until a few days later that there wasn't any live music (mentioned on the website)... anyways good thing the conversation and company kept guests occupied Big thanks to everyone who came along and made it a great night out
