Good burger, great potatoe salad,view of the lake,the sort of bar where they know your name vibe.we will stop in again next time we are coming to ithaca

I have been eating here since i was in a high chair and it is well worth the small drive. The fried fish is amazing and as i have gotten more into drinks they have a great selection as well. Last time i was in the food was just as i remembered from my childhood! A gem for sure in the forested finger lakes!!

Awesome service and food! Great beer selection and view of Cayuga Lake! Enjoyed a special of the day caesar salad and buffalo shrimp. Perfectly full! Definitely recommend :)

The waitress was rude. She stood at one end of the table and had everyone shout their orders to her and had everyone pass food down like it was an assembly line. My spaghetti and meatballs were disgusting. My husband ordered a side of onion rings and they gave him literally four rings and charged over three dollars for it. Worst place I've ever been too!

I wasn't impressed at all with Glenwood pines. I got what they said was the burger that makes them so popular.....but it was barely ok.

Burgers are pretty good, and worth a try. I must say I was expecting them to be a little better. Good place though definitely worth a try and I would eat there again.

Stopped for a very late lunch. $9 sandwiches that were just sandwiches. Fish was good size on French bread which was a tad thick, toasted would be better. Crunch burger OK, very enjoyable Montreal Angus sirloin. A side of fries were not huge. Desserts of rice pudding and carrot cake were good.

Great family-oriented place to eat the food was good and service was good beautiful views of the lake love going there will definitely be going back

Curious and cozy place where you can enjoy excellent burgers.
The customer service is excellent and very efficient.
The portions are generous and the preparation of the dishes very good.
As a bonus you have a great view of the lake from the dining room windows.

An institution in the Ithaca area. Great burgers, fries, and onion rings. Easy atmosphere.

The burger is good, but definitely not the best one in Ithaca as they claim. The French fries taste really good. Nice and crispy. One more thing that I experienced one or two times is that they don't cook the burger the way you ask them. I get medium rare every time I ask for medium. Keep that in mind if you care about doneness.

Love the fish fry! The smelt had too much batter and was a disappointment. No taste other than greasy.

I love the Cornell chicken sandwich. It reminds me of speedies, which are a favorite back home. The broccoli bites are so fantastic and everything is always cooked perfectly. The staff is really friendly and professional. It's also really nice to be able to play some arcade games and pool. Loyal customer of The Pines, it's consistently a great spot with it's own cool history.

Get the pines burger. Just an amazing classic burger without frills. It's the flame grilled meat and soft crusty french breat that makes it. Also awesome view of the lake. Place itself is exactly what you would expect from a country bar and grill.

Good for traditional American food in unique atmosphere. Not many vegetarian offerings.

Don't tell anyone, but this is my favor burger watering hole

Whenever I come back to Ithaca this is one of the first places I go. You know your home when you have a nice piece of fried haddock or a pines burger

I usually enjoy the Pines because they really give good portions for the coat. This time not so much. I had the clam strips and I probably only got 4 oz. Of clams. My wife got the open steak sandwich and the cut was much smaller than in the past as well.

The food was ok. The location is pretty and you can eat outside.

Accommodating for large groups. Good local restaurant.

An Ithaca tradition. We always stop in for a Pinesburger when we are in town. This place is casual and friendly. They have easy seating for any size party because there are long picnic tables downstairs. I wouldn't call the food gourmet because it's simple pub fare but in 25 years I've never had a bad sandwich and their fries are delicious.

The waitress was awesome, food was so good I bought the cook a beer after. I'll be back next time I'm in town

An Ithaca classic!! Grilled chicken sandwich is excellent. Go there every time we come to town.
