The Glenmar Studio Review

Had my daughter's wedding this weekend. Thus far, I have had an excellent experience with Glenmar. Our photographer, Mike, was awesome as were our videographers. As far as the picture taking went, I thought everything went very smoothly and they were not obtrusive to the ceremony or reception and took all the pictures we requested. They were easy going and fun to work with. They did not frustrate the bridal party with too many pictures which happened at my wedding many years ago. I'll let you know how the pics come out but I am confident they will be beautiful!

I had the pleasure of working with Mike for my August 15,2019 wedding. I was extremely nervous about having a photographer for my same-sex wedding. I was nervous about being judged and about the way the pictures would come out. Never in a million years did i think i would be so comfortable with a stranger taking pictures of me. Not only was it an extremely easy and comfortable process, but the pictures came out better than i could have ever imagined! The photos were also completed in a VERY timely fashion. I would highly recommend Mike and Glenmar Studios to everybody I know. Thank you Mike (and Mike) for making my day so seamless and memorable!!

Glenmar has made rescheduling our wedding multiple times due to covid a breeze! I haven't had one experience where they weren't kind or responsive, highly recommend them!

I love photography, and so it was very hard for me to find a photographer for my wedding. ( I am picky and had very particular ideas of what it is that i wanted) However after meeting with many photography places, Glenmar was by far in a way the best fit. Michael is just amazing! he had us laughing the whole day, and Melissa's shots are just exactly what i wanted. I seriously could not be happier that we choose them. The fact that they already knew our DJ and the venue too, just made it that much easier to get all the shots. Not to mention the turn around time for the final photos was just over a month, which is just awesome. I will definitely be hiring them for future events!! thanks so much guys!

I can't say I've ever been married before or gone through the wedding process. Glenmar Studios made things very straightforward and anticipated our needs very well. They guided us through the whole process step by step. We're most of the way through now, having received our video, parent album, and proofs of all the photos. From what we saw of our album preview I am very excited.

On the day of they were easy to work with and very accommodating. As I nice touch, not something they had advertised, one of the photographers they sent us could speak enough Chinese to help my wife's grandparents get in all the right shots. I highly recommend them for your wedding.

We are getting married at Crest Hollow Country Club in 2018. We went to 5 different photographers, Glenmar being the last and that's when Joey won us over with her charm. She booked our engagement shoot with Mike, and words can not describe how GRATEFUL we are! We took our engagement pictures on Friday 11/17 and received it today. Mike was a phenomenal photographer!!! He always had us laughing and gave us great direction. He said he would have our photos ready before Thanksgiving and he fell through with his word. The photos came out incredible and we can not wait to see how our wedding photos will turn out with Tino next year. We love Glenmar and would highly recommend them.

Please, those who are looking for a photography company for your wedding day spend time looking for one. Stay as far as you can from this company...... It's almost 3 months after my wedding and this is when i am getting emails about which album to pick when i had already discussed this with them months before my wedding. Aside other problems i have with this company, I deeply regret that i had chosen them for my wedding. So sad!

It has taken me too long to write this review and today when I came across my wedding album (in the box) while moving baby toys, I was reminded why. I got married 2/2017 on a day when snow was expected, but at the last minute it was 50 degrees. Prior to our special day I sent dozens of pictures of the vibe I was looking for. I didn t want it to look too posed and showed them examples. Needless to say, they had no idea how to capture light, how to properly edit, they took pictures that looked as if I hired someone off of craigslist. It was such a struggle to even select photos to create an album. My husband and I gave them a pretty good canvas to work with( us) but they provided no direction the day of and just snapped away. They single handedly ruined my dream of what I imagined my wedding pictures would look like, so much so that I wanted to redo them. It took close to a year for us to get our album back and by this time I was ready to be working on a maternity album. Look through Instagram, there are countless photographers who I wish I would have reached out to. It isn t money well spent or cost effective to use this company, no matter what your budget is. They aren t cheap, but their quality of work sure as heck is.

Glemar went out of their way to make my daughters wedding an amazing experience. From signing the contract to capturing those special moments.. they were accommodating, professional, reliable and extremely patient. Thank you in behalf of Sebastian and Brandie Levenson. 05/12/2018

Great experience meeting with Glenmar! All emails and calls were answered almost immediately and the communication couldn't be smoother. We met with Jessica and she was friendly and personable as well as very knowledgeable. She was not the typical pushy vendor whatsoever, and encouraged us to take our time with our decision on a wedding photographer. Their photos are top notch, as was the videos we got to see at our appointment. You won't be disappointed if you book with Glenmar Studio!

Michael and Hunter were the most wonderful photographers we could have asked for. They were very professional and kind and really helped to run the whole show. They were everywhere we needed them to be and got every photo we asked them to. Truly grateful to have worked with Glenmar. My album is beautiful thanks to their expertise. Highly recommended!

Hired these people to do my wedding last year. The first issues started when they sent me my photos and discarded all the shots of my father helping me get ready. Cause the shots weren't good (ie. Blurry or bad lighting) I had to call to get these photos. The icing on the cake 1 year later i put the DVD into the computer so i could post my Recap on facebook for my family and friends and they didn't add a file on the DVD for me to pull the recap off of. Do not hire these people for your wedding i honestly wish I spent the extra money for the other people i had on my list.

In response to your comment. I shouldn't have to request a recap i paid for. It should automatically be given especially when I paid 900.00 for the recap. I already took care of getting my recap off the DVD. Luckily i have friends who can edit without ruining the DVD. When it comes to the photos of my father. Any person would know those types of photos are cherished and to not be left out. Yes i did recieve the photos after reaching out. Your photographer took so many photos of my dad helping me get ready and only two photo came out decent enough for you to deem worthy enough for them to be sent.

Would not recommend.
My wife and I used Glenmar for our wedding and if I can take anything back from our wedding is that I wish we used someone else. For spending 4K we are extremely disappointed in the photos and video. There is no artistic pictures, We have to gather pictures from our friends and family to make a album that actually shows entire venue, and well the actual day, beyond one spot. When we spoke with management about how unsatisfactory we are, Glenmar management responded with and I quote
what did you expect for 4 thousand
I have been jaw dropped and furious with them for months... All customers in search for a photographer to make your day special, go anywhere but Glenmar

We got married on 7-20-18 and I can't say enough about how pleased we were with Glenmar Studio. They when above and beyond for my wedding day. Truly such great people to work with. I look forward to using them again.
