My wife Kay and I came to Taylor Glen because she had Parkinson s and she passed away after we had been here for six years. At that time, I had a decision to make: whether to leave and go home where I would live alone, or to stay at Taylor Glen. This was no decision for me. I never considered leaving my Taylor Glen home and close friends here. Taylor Glen is the absolute best place to live in every single way! There is none like it! I have now lived here for 15 years and have loved every minute of it. There is nothing negative that I could even think of to say. My best advice is, "Do not wait until it is too late for you to come and enjoy everything that Taylor Glen has to offer."

My wife and I think that the amenities are first class! The dining room food is excellent. The staff is excellent. That includes everyone: nurses, cooks, servers, maintenance workers, and even the mail service!

I feel completely safe in our Taylor Glen Community. I have never asked for help that I didn't get it promptly and this gives our children peace of mind. They never have to worry about us here at Taylor Glen!

The Taylor Glen grounds are lovely and spacious, all 100 acres!

We love the companionship we have found here. Folks are congenial and happy!

They don't care about good employee and they work you to death and expected you to do a lot for the little money they pay and eveer one is the boss and people complain when you are piled up with dishes and the manger there could care less about you and when one of crazy cook helps you they go straight to the manager and complain about stuff like high school days this place is so disappointed and no wonder why they can't get good help these days because they don't know what good help is and that truly sad. And they make money off the residents and employee and charge them for meals and go figure so let say 100 people order food its like 350 a meal so times it will equal alot! I would advise you not to work there lousy pay and too much work to do

Great place. Good facility and well organized events. Clean, caring and professional environment. Services are great. This year for the holidays they had the local school kids perform a wonderful chorus. Very well planned and laid out.

Horrible place to work I never hated a job so much I was lied to when I applied and told one thing then changed once I got there people in the office don't give a damn about anyone not the employees or the people that live there. They stay in the office all day and never come out.
They ask for help but when people come to apply they never leave there office to come meet them and then wonder why people never come back and why people quiet. I would never put my family in there or I wouldn't even put the people I couldn't stand or hated in that place.
That work place is worse than y'all and I feel bad for all the people that live there everyone is under paid the people in charge don't care about you or what you have going on in your life they get you in the door working for them then they make you do stuff that not your job and I have never been so disrespected by the head maintenance man mike I went out of my way to help them and I get treated like dirt I hope people come to there right mind and move there love one out of there before it's to late

I have lived here for a few months and I am impressed with the kind/ professional staff, variety of activities, and tremendous food! The residents are extremely friendly and helpful. There are NO GROUCHES HERE!! Situated on 100 acres, the facility has a fishing pond, walking trails, and beautiful wildlife. I highly recommend Taylors Glen for meeting good friends, being energetic (love the indoor pool), learning opportunities, and happy life style.

I have been here since the doors opened, almost 20 years ago. I have met so many wonderful friends that are dear to my heart. I love my gardening and flowering work that I do here at Taylor Glen. Most of all I enjoy helping other people. I would not trade my many years here for anything! One of my friends, Donna Cameron, who has gone on to be with the Lord used to say, "Come on while you can still get on the bus!" This certainly struck a chord with me and I like to pass this along to folks who are considering joining our community here. We are so active and involved with our trips, activities and relationships that most folks say they wished that they had made the move to Taylor Glen much sooner!

I absolutely love my Marketing/Sales Director position here at Taylor Glen! I was so warmly welcomed by all of the staff and residents when I arrived eight months ago. Taylor Glen is a beautiful and loving community that is like a hidden gem in our town of Concord, NC. My job is to get the word out abut this incredible place!

After evaluating at least 10 Continuing Care Communities, it was obvious that Taylor Glen was the best choice for us, and we have never second guessed our decision. We enjoy the friendliness of the residents and the staff who have become like family to us. They gave us exceptional care and support when we had a medical emergency occur. In times of health crises, it is comforting to know that we have access to a nurse 24 hours a day, all levels of care needed under one roof, and an exceptionally good therapy department on site.
During the pandemic lock down, it was especially comforting to be able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and walking trails when there were so few things to do.
The dining staff go out of their way to make meals a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The activities calendar is filled with more fun and intellectually stimulating activities than a person can imagine.
After being at Taylor Glen for 18 months, we would not hesitate to recommend this community to others considering this type of living arrangement.
