It was hot outside, very actually. We wanted to grab something to gulp down and desserts mainly. This place had been in my to-visit place & hence we rounded up on it.
It's a quaint little joint. Very pretty to look at. White exteriors with the classic wooden seating space and brick wall interiors. It's got a whole section of baked delights. Graced with lamps, a beautiful calm setting.
We ordered a Mint Mojito, Lemon Ice Tea, Decadence and Reconfort- a speciality of this joint I was told. The pastries came first, followed by the drinks.
All the pastries were a delight. Smooth and fresh, subtle in taste.
-Reconfort
It a combination of caramel mousse on top, vanilla insert, chocolate mousse at the bottom , with thick chocolate base & bottom biscuit layer. It was served cold and buttery smooth.
- Decadence
Its a dark chocolate pastry. A well cut put pastry with bubbles of dark chocolate on top. Very creamy and layered. Delicious in taste, with the slight taste of dark chocolate and sweet enough at the same time.
- Basil Mojito & Lemon Ice Tea
Cool and refreshing. Both the drinks complimented our pastries.
The owners are some very polite and friendly people. They were very informative and a delight to converse with.
Overall, a very nice place to spend time at.
