Anyone thinking these pies are good hasn't eaten pie at House of Pies. The whip creme on the pies at Saucer is not creme, it's some sort of vegetable oil toppings and it's awful! Their crust are always oily and most of the time over baked and hard, not flaky.

Amazing pies and worth the wait. Amazing service as they walked my pies to my car (I ordered way too many to carry. Only thing is if your going for Thanksgiving week expect to wait in line and fight for parking they are ridiculously busy during holiday season so plan ahead.

The pies were ok and so was the service. Nothing great about either however, I was extremely upset to witness the young lady who was on the cash register was also handling another customer's slices of pie with the SAME GLOVES as she took the money with! YUCK! So much cross contamination.

I have been buying pies here since the 80's. Still love them. I bought three yesterday, everyone at Silsbee Ford Fleet loved them. It is one of our stops when we go to Houston . Thanks Flying Saucer !!!

Very disappointed with my recent purchase of an apple pie. The apple pie had a very thick crust with very little apple in it. Also threw away the thick top crust. I hope the thickness of the crust of this particular apple pie is an exception to the rule. Will give them one more try. I have bought other fruit pies from this shop in the past and I was quite satisfied with those. Was there a recent change of management or ownership?

What else can I say that hasn't been said about this Iconic establishment! Great pies! Any flavor you need ! If you don't believe me, go during a holiday and wait in the line running down Crosstimbers while the newscrew from every station is covering this event!

The customer service is great. But to honest I had better pies out the frozen section at Walmart. I had chocolate, pecan and Dutch apple. The pies was dry and thrown together. This place is a BIG HYPE!!!!!

Our family tradition every year is to bear the elements and wait in line at Flying Saucer. This year was no different, I waited for an hour this morning for these amazing pies, but to my disappointment when we cut into our 2 chocolate pies for our office Thanksgiving...they were Lemon. Tried to call, but of course they are not answering the phone today. Truly disappointing. Update 11/27/18 - However, after contacting the owner, she made things right! I appreciate when a business addresses any issues and take care of their customers! We will be back for one of those chocolate pies very soon! Thank you.

Best pie in TEXAS. We have been eating Flying Saucer pies back when we had to go to the cafeteria in Northline Shopping Center where they told us the Flying Saucer had just opened on Crosstimbers. We now drive 70 miles to get the BEST PIES in Texas. (The cafeteria in the shopping center was serving Flying Saucer pies). I'm 85 and I KNOW good pies when I eat one!

This place is absolutely divine! The pies are to die for, and the prices are amazing! I d recommend their cherry pie, the amount of cherries in it are perfect, for they don t over stuff it to where it s too sugary. This places is better than anything I ve had before. Thank you Flying Saucer!

Series of disappointments. I have been a loyal customer for 15+ years. My last two visits have been disappointments that were thrown away. The egg custard the crust taste raw and was inedible. The egg custuard was blamd. This time it was peace again the ctust was poor and soggy. Filling tasted canned. Now I have to go find a new poor place in Houston.
