Fantastic spot! Great food, great selection of drinks and very friendly staff! I had been here many years ago at a work event where we wanted to show up something a bit Irish: beef and Guinness pie and live uilleann pipes. Last Christmas, I had an event to organise and went to them. The staff (especially Lisa and Bill) were brilliant! We were upstairs in the Dining Room for a buffet dinner. Everyone had a fantastic night enjoying the food, decor and location. Highly recommend the place!

Old but classic! Went there with couple of office friends. The collection is marvellous. Location is absolutely fabulous. The duplex interior is again very eye-catching. Sitting may not be possible on weekends. But very nice option.

Great place to stay in Dublin! - Nice hotel, great breakfast, friendly and attentive staff (!!!) and downstairs a lively pub with great drinks where you meet people from all over the world. - I liked it very much!

Good riverside spot beside the liffey 2 mins walk from Dublin's Silicon Valley/Grand Canal Dock, very close to Facebook office and Grand Canal Theatre. Usually busy after office hours.
Good Guinness and some craft beer (O'Hara's IPA Draft is my favourite, not cheap though).
Does a great carvery (spuds meat gravy all the trimmings) during lunchtime!!Welcoming beaten wooden interior look. Has ground floor and basement level bar. Guest accommodation upstairs I believe.
Not sure how legal it is to stand outside with your drink looking across the road/river it is but lots of people do while having a smoke or just catching the sun!

Lovely staff, very welcoming. Tasty breakfast. Pub is fun and closes around 00.30 so its silent at night. Also the location is great with airport bus 747/757 on the other side of the bridge.

Classic Pub just on the edge of the modern Grand Canal offices. Good Guinness and a decent selection of other beers on offer. Too crowded on the ground floor? The downstairs is about the same size and usually less crowded.

I knew an actual real life ferryman who sailed with P&O ferries, nice guy, except that he most absolutely wasn't a nice guy. Spent all his time talking about knives, he doesn't even hunt or work with rope. Like if he was an old timey pirate sailer he may come in cantact with rope, to raise the skull and crossbones flag, and he might need to cut it with a knife. But he worked on a ferry, hardly any of modern day ferries have skull and crossbones flags. I don't know why he liked knives so much. Never been to this pub, looks nice, could be wrong though

Lovely pub, usually packed upstairs, but can find space downstairs. Excellent punt of Guinness and a load of other beers on offer. Good view of the Liffey and CCD which is cool when lit up at night.

I m from Dublin and I ve been to 100+ bars over the last few years. I m embarrassed to bring work colleagues to this bar. The barmen are the rudest I ve experienced and let the entire spirit of the Irish down. How hard is it to smile and have manners?

Not a bad place. We were in Dublin for an event and came in for a couple of beers during the lunch break. A colleague of mine was basically told she couldn't eat a banana she'd brought with her because they do their own food on premises. Awful way to treat a paying customer - did not exactly make us want to spend more money at that place.

Nice old style bar and hotel with wide range of food and drinks. Nicely located in the Silicon Docks area of Dublin so popular with the after work crowd. Lots of old pictures and decorations around the place to look at. Quirky place overall with great atmosphere.

The Manager was very rude and hostile. He tried to kick me off my bar stall for a regular by pretending that the regular had been sitting there. Quite amusing as he clearly hadn't and I was sitting for about 10 mins before the manager said this. The regular just dismissed it and didn't try to take my seat (clearly a more decent person) and I stayed put before finishing my drink and leaving never to return.

Very nice original pub.
Not so overcrowded with tourists.

The local locals are often out and about here themselves. I also had the tip from them to come here :)

A Victorian pub with a choice of lager, IPAs and of course Guinness. Located in an old building surrounded by modern office buildings and hotels. Probably the nearest from the Convention Center. Can be crowded in evenings.

Look the accommodation is above a Pub, so you have got to expect some noise, however, the worst noise was from the motorcycles that stopped at the traffic lights outside. Now the room was basic with tired furniture but the bed was wonderful, a comfortable King size, which is positioned in the room so that you can lay in bed and look out the window onto the River Liffey. A view you would be hard to find even in a hotel at double/triple the price. The breakfast was waitress service and the food was tasty. I would definitely book this Inn again when I visit Dublin. Excellent value for money.
