Top place especially after a gig in the 3 arena, a great little stop-off on your way back into town. Bar staff are on the button and make sure they know who's waiting and where you are in the queue....some of the most attentive bar staff I've seen working.

Sorry these photos must be from another Ferryman because our room was nothing like these old saggy beds two lamps that didn't work old scratched bedside tables warm water coming from the cold water tap. You get what you pay for.

Rough and rude. Used to bring visitors here until the barman walked up behind one and said "take your bag off." Second experience of arrogant rudeness. Go somewhere like the Oarsman or Sandymount House where your business will be welcome.

I was there for three nights from Monday to Thursday. Basically it is a classic pub very close to the harbor, which also offers rooms on three floors above. Accordingly, you check in and out of the bartender. The hotel can be easily reached with the city bus to the city center from the airport (approx. 25-30 minutes). The room was normal and a good size. Bed for two, looked neat and clean. Kettle with coffee and tea was provided free of charge. The bathroom was quite small with a shower. There were fresh towels every day even if they weren't on the floor. The shower was not that clean (old and discolored shower tray, hair in the shower). The existing electronic room card, on the other hand, is unexpectedly modern. The breakfast was delicious but took some getting used to. There was only coffee or tea and Irish breakfast, which was very good. The waitresses were nice and the breakfast room was very nicely decorated (see photos). The pub was always full in the afternoon, but I wasn't there in the evening. The bottom line is that I can recommend the hotel for a short trip if you are not too sensitive to a few hairs;)

A nice place to have a few drinks and is walking distance from the three arena and the bord gais theatre , there is also a downstaris area with another bar , gave it 4 stars because the drinks are slightly over priced.

I was in the summer of 2019 with my mother and my sister. We stayed in a three person room. The room was small but very nice. Very friendly staff, and very nice to have to check in at the pub downstairs. Despite the fact that the pub was full almost every night, the rooms were somewhat soundproof and nothing was heard. If I had to put a little fault, perhaps more variety would have been fine, however the quantity was fine. The price-quality for my suitable given the dates and the advance of the purchase. The place is about 15 min. from the center of Dublin, it is a nice walk along the River Liffey. A greeting.

Great little place to spend some time drinking with friends. Quite expensive pint but quite normal for Dublin apparently, bit like London. Good fast service, can get very busy especially on Friday after work.

Great spot, reasonably priced food and drink. Very small selection of food bit enough selection to please a party of three. Went 10 minutes down the road and found the prices of food to be much higher compared to the ferryman. Would recommend

Great location, slightly away from all the action. Great bar and breakfast room the only fault I have is with the rooms, they are very basic and in desperate need for an upgrade. There was no live music which shocked me on a Saturday night , however the staff were very friendly and helpful.
