This is one of the best experiences I have had in last 5 years. Room dining service was timely. Food portion sizes are bigger. The menu covers all kind of food. House keeping did a incredible job of tidying my room. All the employees in the hotel have detailed information about the area. They patiently answer the queries. Bell service folks did not accept tips.

There are 5 restraunts in it. All are expensive. Stube has Fondae which is incredible. Fairview has less choices but every dish is well crafted and presented well. All restraunts check for any allergies and food is fairly customizable. Fairview is open for just in-hotel guests.

The concierge in the hotel have lot of option for guests. These options were cheap. There were canyon walks, ski classes and lot more. I took thier canyon walk and group was lead by guide who volunteers in Parks Canada. He spoke about wildlife in Banff and animal corridors on the highway and lot more.

I was there during ice magic festival. They had amazing ice sculptures on display. When I checked out the hotel, I did not find single area of improvement. Overall, its great experience with great value for the money spent. I will come back again here if I visit Banff.

Unfortunately, the restaurants in Fairmont are very exclusive and often turn away people who aren't guests. We were told we could not be seated at our first choice restaurant and had a hard time getting seated at others because we did not have a room. Beyond that, food was decent, service was great.

This was my first stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. It is an historic site but has the feel of a warm, cozy hotel.

It is located in likely the most beautiful spot in Canada. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, you feel at peace. It s quite and surreal and a nice escape from the city.

There are plenty of outdoor activities for the enthusiasts and incredible for nature photography enthusiasts provided the weather cooperates.

The staff overall are friendly and helpful. A couple were less than but likely having a bad day.

I will definitely visit again in the future.

The Chateaux offers incredible views over Lake Louise that you will not see anywhere else. The service is impeccable from all the staff and the food in the restaurants is great. There are a few gift shops in the Chateaux. It also offers easy access to the multiple hiking routes around Lake Louise. i definitely recommend hiring a canoe and going round the lake as it is spectacular.

Didn't stay here but went to the lower level breakfast place. Nice buffet with good service and options. A tad pricey but that's what you get at one of the most popular spots in the park. There was a bear sighting there and the lake is nearby so spend your time outside the hotel.

The only full service hotel in Lake Louise. As a guest you enjoy the priority seating at its restaurants. This is especially appreciated after a day of hiking when it s the only facility there to offer quite decent food. As expected at high season it s well over $1000/night.

Awesome space. Get to the teahouse early for a spot and bring a warm layer in case of wind! Lake Louise is very smoky during the summer if they've had wildfires so be aware of that clouding views. The hike to the teahouse is very doable and I think that anyone can do it.

I visited hotel to have an afternoon tea with my wife and her friend. It was a special event for both so I called the hotel a week before we arrived and made reservation with a special request. A special request was not addressed at the time of our arrival and they had us seat in the corner where the busiest traffic was seen during our visit although there were many other seats available as we arrived early just past 12:00pm. I was literally embarrassed by this but did not address any complaints in front of my guest. Very disappointed..

Not really fair to rate the hotel as we did not stay there, but I am sure that it is nice. And the landscape is amazingly ng of course. But WAYYYY to busy. Sign says only 350 people on the ice but I have no idea how they count or control people. And the ones that were there had absolutely no respect for others. Peoe pushing past on the trails, and forget about trying to look at an ice sculpture. Even if you wait patiently for your turn someone will push past you to be first.
And I have not seen so many stupid selfie sticks in one place ever.

We've been to Lake Louise before on a day trip, and figured why not spend the money and stay for a couple nights. The view was great (which we did pay more for), but the overall stay was okay at best. The first night we were there a wedding reception was taking place. Obviously people get married at the Fairmont all the time, but I was disappointed that the music was blasting until 11 pm. I would have hoped that if a reception was taking place that they would have blocked out the rooms above the reception for people attending the wedding, and not for regular hotel guests, or at least been advised that a party would be happening below us when we checked it. When I'm paying a small fortune for a room I would have hoped that we would have been able to get some quiet. The restaurant (Fairview) had the best steak I've ever had, but that alone wouldn't be enough for me to stay here again. Save your money and just make a day trip out of it.

We liked it less than the one in Banff, but it was good regardless. Restaurant was a bit slow, both times it took roughly 30minutes to get us our food, breakfast were not as good as it can be. But location is the best

We had a fantastic dinner at Lakeview Lounge on the evening on 2/23/2019. We were a party of eight, including four children. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The atmosphere was upbeat, yet relaxing at the same time. The highlight of the meal was our server, Julia. She took care of every need that we had from start to finish. We did not have to ask her for anything. She did an amazing job of anticipating our needs and staying one step ahead of us, which is not easy with four kids in the party. She was friendly, engaging and provided great food and beverage recommendations for the table!

Overall, it was an excellent meal and Julia truly exemplified what great customer service is!

Unbelievable experience! Amazing staff, super friendly, delicious food, incredible cocktails, and the constant presence of the lake. We only spent 2 days but can't wait to come back. Plus, being at the property allowed you to enjoy the lake before or after the tourists arrived.

I lost my phone in the mountain area of Lake louise and the hotel manager Steve received it from a patron, cleaned it up and not only got it working but mailed it back to me aswell. I cannot express the gratitude I have for the customer services of this resort.

Overall very mediocre hotel inside and out, location is fabulous but building and facilities, especially small, old pool and overcrowded hot tub aren't enough for the hotel of this size, fitness room is also tiny with barely any natural light coming in, if the only hospitality services was outstanding, but instead the guy in spa didn't even stop watching hockey game when I came over to refill the water bottle, the pool and hot tub was packed with screaming kids of all ages, no even one lounge chair, definitely not relaxing environment, not worth $500

Beautiful! And incongruous, at least to me. You look out onto one of the most beautiful, alpine settings in the world: blue green waters of Lake Louise framed by Mount Lefroy and Victoria, with glacier filled cols and icefields hanging high above the valleys. Then you see this hotel, a bit out of place. Still it's an odd kind of beauty. I couldn't decide if it should be 3 star, or higher. Finally I decide to give it 5 because of its undeniable beauty despite its mismatch with the scenery. I give it 5 to recognize the audacity of it's builders. I give it 5 because in an odd clashy way it accentuates the surrounding wilderness.

One of the best hotels around. Although it is expensive it is worth every penny. The history of the hotel and its surroundings is like no other. If just visiting the lake and the hotel best time to see everything is first thing in the morning before all the tour buses come in. The grab and go coffee and snack bar is a great place to get a quick bite to eat.

I haven't been out here since I was a small child and have always just gone to Banff on my weekend and day trips but this time a few of us decided on Lake Louise because we also wanted to go hiking. The hike was beautiful with unreal views that only get batter the higher you get, unfortunately we weren't prepared for how much colder it would be in the mountains and only made it to the tea house and lake . The hotel is extremely overpriced if you book on short notice though. Try booking 2 months in advance to pay a fraction of the price. I will definitely be back to the area before I go back to Banff but I won't be staying at the hotel on short notice anytime soon.

The hotel is beautiful. The scenery is unreal, the most beautiful in Canada. The area is very pricey and touristy, could not get a decent picture without having someone else in it. Reminded me of a European attraction with how many people where down at the lake.

Got a free upgrade to a lakeside view (which has frozen and snow-covered since we visited in April). Staff is friendly and professional; facilities are quite good. Rooms aren't the biggest but you don't come here to spend much time in your room, do you?
