Came here to see Nile and Terrorizer play live. This is a great death metal venue. The drinks are served quickly but London prices so don't expect to get much change for a tenner when buying in a round for two. Lots of room and stage visibility is good, it's not one of those places which give you the back of someone's head to look at all night!

My Bloody Valentine was my best gig ever here way back in 1991; they blew my mind, i had an epiphany that night. Not much changed here at The Dome 28 years later!!! I'm back and it's 2019 & I'm enjoying Starcrawler - who are genuinley good. And become great when they do their slow swampy rock numbers - they unique then. The Dome - just keep going guys - great atmosphere, superb spirit, friendly security - you venue legends of North London!

Good venue. Never seems ridiculously full (even at sold out shows) so the capacity is obviously well thought out, door staff are always alright. Drinks ain't cheap but it's London - at least you never seem to have a long wait at the bar.

Attended the Dome for the Chess Boxing, a novel sport that combines the intellect of a board game and the tenacity of violence. The door staff were very easy and present. The bar is long and very easy to get served, with out barging between people to get in or out.

Easily one of my favourites venues in London these days, though that's helped by how the majority of my old regulars have been replaced by cross rail stations (Astoria, Mean Fiddler, Metro etc). It's effectively a large hall, above a pub and smaller venue, with a bar running down one side but one that does the job perfectly. Normally a good view of the bands, the sound is pretty decent, and the bar is easy to access. Security staff are usually a friendly bunch too. Bonus points for how you can park for free after 6.30pm on the majority of local roads too.

Excellent music venue, very easy to get to as about 100m from Tufnell Park tube station. Nice high stage so everyone can see the band and the drinks are the same price as the surrounding pubs and bars. I will be going there again. Recommended.

The only good thing here is the setting. Everything else is terrible. You pay high quality restaurant prices for pub food (actually I have better food in most pubs). Service was OK though management was unuseless and pretencious. A waste of time and money.

The sound here for gigs (upstairs) is appalling.
Saw American Head Charge recently and couldn't hear the vocals at all. In fact, it sounded like the volume had been whacked right up creating a wall of sound within which one sound was indistinguishable from another. Ears ringing for days after (a minor thing I guess but given you literally couldn't hear which tracks were being played at some points it didn't seem worth the inner ear damage!)
Sound was equally poor across all acts.
I wouldn't go to this venue for live music again under any circumstances.
Felt sorry for the bands.
