Brilliant servicen afternoon tea was amazing, hope to be back soon!
Classic, nice food and sweets, but run out of !!!!
We booked a 16:30 slot for afternoon tea to then be told at the restaurant that there was no afternoon tea. This was disappointing as it was not clear on the website and it was our friend s birthday.
The manager was extremely apologetic and explained the situation. He then proceed to create something similar to an afternoon tea with free scones, jam and creme. Extremely satisfied and happy with the service and experience.
The Delauney is the place I will always take people if I want to treat them!
Absolute classic. Great food. Great ambient. Can t wait to be back!
Delightful Mitteleuropa atmosphere right near The Aldwych, Bush House and Australia House
I was hoping they'd do an omelette Arnold Bennett as I had seen some pictures online. When I asked what was available the charming waiter listed things like ham, peppers, or mushrooms. On not hearing the names of any authors I ordered the More
Grand cafe, great food and ambience. The viennese brunch is an affordable treat, and there are usually tables available for a walk in during the week
feels like i've been transported over to Austria! yummy in my tummy! I am reaaallyyy full!!
really nice place with lovely staff, nice food and busy atmos
Incredible food in a really lovely atmosphere. 100% worth the price.
Came here for an early breakfast without a reservation and was eagerly seen to, even though it was already filling up. Inside is beautifully set and a generous amount of space given between tables.
I ended up going for the Omelette Arnold Bennett which was incredible. Eggs slightly scrambled in a bowl that must've been put under a grill to crisp up the top. So when you dive, in it's still a bit runny and creamy underneath. Would highly recommend. (Visit 03/07/2015 Breakfast)
Beautiful old Viennese style cafe. Stunning interior, great service.
Amazing place for tea and cakes, very well done up and the service is pretty good too, try the black forest cake :)
The name will say little, and it turns out that this is a restaurant with Austrian cuisine. Excellent is, among others Viennese schnitzel, really huge. The pub is rather of the fancy ones, though the waiters do not seem very friendly. It is worth booking a place in advance, because it is almost always full. Prices - expensive.
Extremely pleasant experience. Well mannered staff, well orchestrated and all round great day out. As we were vegetarians, we asked for a wider variety of sandwiches and I'm happy to say they accommodated us. Would recommend.
Wonderful! After a busy day, we had booked here for an early meal. They easily accommodated 10 of us on a perfectly sized round table. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and the decor is fabulous. All of the staff were very More
Good food and drinks. Very stylish and clean as well. Has a vibe of being in the 1920s Europe, which is cool and unique.
Excellent!!! Good food great atmosphere!! very delicious cake..loved it.
Steak tartar, hake were delicious. waitress tried to get rid of us quickly once Rowan Atkinson had arrived.
Nice environment. We visited for coffee & cake on our way home. Felt like we were in Paris whilst we were sat inside.
Great place very welcoming. Lovely staff a pleasure to go to
Perfect venue for a pre drink before a show at the peacock theatre . Nice well dress waiting staff and cozy well decorated venue. Went out today with friends and we all liked it .
Always love come to this palce. Thee afternoon tea is quite special.
Wonderful, attentive service, delicious food and a really nice atmosphere. We went for an anniversary brunch and were very impressed. I'm 8 months pregnant and the staff couldn't do more to make sure I was comfortable and they brought some complimentary treats for our anniversary. We will definitely return!
Tea room but not that. This lounge offers a cozy little corner with delicious food and excellent cakes. The ambience is pleasantly warm and the service excellent.
Amazing service.....food was delicious... can't wait to go back :-)
The Food here is excellent and so is the service. Thank you
My favourite restaurant has to have 5 stars but make sure you leave enough room for their banana split!!
Great service
Good coffee.
Excellent porridge.
Attentive but not overbearing service. Delicious cakes and coffee.
Delicious snitzel. Very comfortable to eat alone or with friends. Chic parisian decor. Great atmosphere and food.

Lovely venue, great food, excellent service....what more to say ?
Perfect place. Super good and reasonable price for quality and quantity
Nice cafe in central London. Coffee and cakes very rich rich excellent service.
This is a very fine dining experience without the pretension that frequently comes with that. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive and the venue extremely pleasant. The price range is higher than average but absolutely not unreasonable considering the experience.
Private dining room for a presentation. Great service, lovely food. Screen worked so fine
Great friendly service. Variety of meal choices. Can be very reasonably priced depending on what you order!
Excellent service. Breakfast was wonderful. Large selection of dishes available. Great place to hold breakfast meetings or to spoil yourself!
Great menu, service and environment. I love the decor, it reminds my of the thirties, very classy.
I've been having cake at the counter for a few years not and they are delicious! Totally in love with the decor.
The staff are always welcoming and accomodating and it nice even of your on your own.
This restaurant all round has a lovely atmosphere. It has a particularly great menu, very friendly staff, and is affordable. A fantastic choice of place, whether that be for afternoon tea or an evening meal.
Afternoon tea was lovely. Food excellent and Staff very attentive and unobtrusive.
A little expensive but worth it, food and atmosphere are lovely. Great place to go for a treat
Austrian restaurant a little kitsch but elegant the service is impeccably classic the welcome is sober but pleasant. The cuisine is very good, a mixture of Austrian and French cuisine. Excellent pastry.
A reasonably priced, traditional slice of a London tea room served with an authentic accent. Also, one of the few in London that know what an Irish coffee is. Well worth a visit any time of day.
The best. Love the ambience & food. Sundays are wonderful in here if you fancy a full roast
The Delaunay has a great atmosphere and tasty food, decent prices. Such a lovely place for a first date. As a local photography company, we can say that this place is great and our clients also liked it. Highly recommend!
A classic brunch menu - the avocado and eggs on toast was delicious. But the selection wasn t great and I expected to be more wowed with the menu.
Great service. I had the French toast with Apple and rubharb. Nice!
Gorgeous Sunday brunch. Pancakes, eggs, ham, whatever you want, it is served with style and confidence. I like the counter next door too serving come of the best croissants in London.
I really love this place. The food is really good and delicious. They have a lot of variety that you can choose from. Aside from the food, you will also enjoy the ambiance, and the service is really great.
Great atmosphere perfect service and good food and generous portions
Beautiful building lovely staff sandwiches must of been sitting all day
Perfect and very cosy cafe, with the best food. They're fast and affordable and friendly staff. Love this spot. And it's next door to the Aldwych Theatre
One of my favourite Vienna style cafes with a killer cheesecake. Well worth the price premium.
Nice venue, pastries look good and drinks are good but small tables and WiFi doesn't function. Not suitable for working.
Excellent schnitzel and potato salad, delicious strudel. Avoid tables with chilly draft from air conditioning.
Love it! Been a few times for breakfast - food always good. Definitely recommend the avocado on toast. Great atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back.
Great service, good place for breakfast/brunch. Lovely atmosphere and environment.
Great service nice atmosphere and very good food only grip the knives need sharpening.
Had afternoon tea and the scones were great but the cakes need better recipies.
Terrible service. They took ages to attend our table and when they did, they treated us very impatiently.
Superb in every way. Beautiful, elegant interior. Top quality food and service
Excellent service and delicious food. I am pleased to see the improved veggie menu with some vegan options.
I always find it a little gloomy in there but nonetheless, we loved our lunch.
Nice European style pastry/cakes. Service was good, had none of the queue issues mentioned by others.
Lovely meal and the staff were very helpful as we had a theatre date soon after
From my point of view one of the best breakfast and brunch in London. The ambient is classic and the food is really good. You won't go wrong if you order the full english breakfast but pancakes with blueberries are ant kids favourite. Also, the toast with the avocado was worth ordering.
Food service first class all in all a fine dining experience and great value for money
