Susan Craig of the Dartmouth Group is the best property manager out there. She works diligently to make sure Madrid Square Condominiums site is top notch. She's responsive and follows through to the end on any inquiries, pain points, and projects. There has been a great difference in the upkeep and communication on the property since she's taken over. A breath of fresh air!

After pocketing all of the fees for last summer and refusing to open the pool, this year they are conveniently opening a month late, for no reason. Indoor pools have been open in our town for months and it should be no surprise that outdoor pools would be allowed for the summer.

The worst of the worst, without sending the invoice, they started collection and charging late fee and attorney fee, impossible to get anybody on the phone, won't return phone calls, have to start small claim against.

I want to give a Thank You to my Condo Manager, Mike Fugate, who gives 110%. We are fortunate to have him through these trying times. He truly cares for the property AND the people. I think I would sell my condo if he left for I have that much confidence in him. Good Job Mike! You are appreciated!

Dartmouth Group's choice of vendors to do the work...

Dartmouth Group's choice of vendors to do the work at our townhouse condos has been uniformly disappointing. Currently there is a crew of painters doing virtually no prep work and slapping paint onto unwashed and unprepped surfaces. The same thing happened a few years ago and the paint is already chipping and mildewing. If Dartmouth Group checks the work done by their vendors, I've never been aware of it. If the DG has, why do they accept substandard work? Of course the substandard exterior work affects the curb appeal and overall value of the condos. I am baffled that DG makes no attempt to do a better job.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I would give details but just know that we have fired them within a few months. Unfortunately we have a 1 year contract with them so we have to wait to move on. This is a GARBAGE company! BEWARE!

We had a problem with our porch step falling apart from general wear and tear.
We texted Dartmouth Group, specifically Jessica Tully, she responded to our text immediatel
She alerted me to the missing pictures (they didn t download) and I resent them.
Within minutes, she saw what had occurred, how it was a safety issue, and sent us a very polite, wonderful maintenance man named Kevin.
Our problem was repaired in less than 24 hours of the first text, and he even had to go get materials.

I made a request to move a motion activated light ...

I made a request to move a motion activated light on my townhome on September 2. Didn't receive an acknowledgement until September 9.

Never heard back so I finally asked for an update on September 29. (They never get back to you. You always have to ask for an update).

So finally they get back to me on October 5, only to tell me they need further information. I had booked the contractor a month in advance thinking it would be plenty of time to get permission. If I hadn't asked for an update, I'm sure I'd still be waiting for a response.

Seems they have no system or procedure for tracking issues and following up in a timely manner. The responsibility is entirely on you the client to stay on them about requests or issues.

I also have problems with visitors and vendors who park directly across from my garage door, making it difficult and sometimes impossible to enter or exit my unit. Response from my representative was, not our problem.

Lastly, my representative never answers her phone, ever.

P.S. I was concerned about writing this review in the event they would seek retaliation, but how much worse could they treat me then they already do?

Sheila at Madrid Square Condos has made it so much easier to get information and resources I need for my condo. She s always pleasant and answers inquiries thoroughly. It really helps to have someone on the other end of the line/email that s bubbly and kind. Especially when you re dealing with some stressful events. Big shout out to Sheila!

Ask for help with ongoing issues and you get humiliated and made to feel like a child! The management is unprofessional and predictable!
