Good food and service, the one dislike is the way they add 10% service charge, this puts me right off. I will always leave a tip but when they automatically assume, I will not, pay the staff more wages
Very special place. You have to experience the design of the interior; very clever use of this old cinema.
Love this place. Great layout, atmosphere and food. Want to give 5 star but it took 45 minutes to get our food which is way too long. They needed one more member of staff to cater for the busy period.
Food was ok, service was awful.
Our evening was spoiled by a rude waiter (Richard). Among other things he awkwardly hovered and stared at me after spilling a drink on my friend. He made a fuss of how generous he was being to replace the drink and then dabbed the table and cutlery with a tea towel. Luckily this meant we ran no risk of any further spills as a result of the sticky residue left over for the rest of the evening.
I was surprised to see 10% added to the bill for 'service', as we received nothing of the sort.

Excellent restaurant serving a fine dining experience in incredible and very unique surroundings (an old art deco cinema which once operated between the 1920s and early 1960s). The food was very tasty and the service was oustanding. Our waiter Hugo was impeccable and had the perfect personality to be a waiter. He was very friendly, personable, polite and willing to engage in conversation with the guests. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommended...just make sure Hugo serves you!
Stunning art deco former cinema and the most delicious food and classy cocktails. Highly recommend the duck salad and the belly pork and it's hard to choose between the chocolate brownie and the lemon posset. Great place to celebrate a special occasion :)
Lovely art deco venue, very impressive. Parking nearby is a problem. We also waited far too long for our drinks, and the food was average. Staff are great.
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The Daffodil hosted lunch on a Saturday mid-summer for 20 guests and made the whole experience truly memorable. We continue to return there whenever we can! Thank you
