I always stay at The D when in Vegas. It's a great value on Freemont! Met Derick (the owner) at the "long bar" one time (longest bar in Nevada) downstairs in The D. Super nice guy! I like playing some of the vintage machines on the 2nd floor... especially the derby... last one working in Nevada! Takes quarters and pays in quarters. There is a change machine right next to it. Can play a long time on $20!

This is my favorite casino on The old strip. There are two floors of gaming. The first floor as all of the regular table games and go-go dancers up on tables doing their thing. Upstairs there are additional slot machines that do have drinks service coming along pretty regularly. The best thing about this casino is it doesn t have cigarette smoke from the 70s permeating the atmosphere.

Had a great stay at the D! Affordable room plus an unexpected upgrade made me a happier camper! I must say the suite was one of the nicest rooms I have had the pleasure of staying in; everything looked new, the bed was comfortable, main room was huge, and the bathroom was massive.

Front desk staff were very helpful and thorough, the long bar was nice, the high tech elevators were neat to use... all around great experience! I will be staying at the D again.

The room was fine. No complaints about that except the hotel is by a stage and you will hear everything. The live music stops around 2am so as long as you are out til then it isn't really an issue. The service was not great. Everyone we interacted with seemed bothered. Valet, bell desk, check in people were very unfriendly

I enjoyed my stay at the D it's definitely a comfortable hotel at a decent price. I like to thank the front desk staff for handling the only problem I had which was the sink clocking up but its to be expected in such an older building. I've stayed here at the D many times in the past and other than there plumbing issues the hotel is great and you can't beat the fact that it's literally on the Fremont Street experience. So If you are looking for a nice place to stay downtown I would recommend you try out the D

D Hotel is unequivocally wrong! Approximately 12 noon on 10/17/2017, I was stopped by two security guards because I was carrying three shopping bags. I guess I looked conspicuous. John was the person that approached me. He was medium height, average built, gray and dark hair, white, late fortyish and male, wearing black suit without tie. They asked about my bags. They recommended that I leave bags in a designed area, if I were a guest. I sensed they did not want me in the casino with bags. It was bad for their image, John said. Never mind the causally dressed "Wall Mart" customers in the casino, looking to strike it rich. I was dressed as they. I just wanted to employ the restroom to tidy myself before reaching my final destination. "Not a guest, not playing the casino;" they wanted me to leave. I left. What I want to say about D Hotel: I do not like being followed. Your policy about leaving your bags in a designated area is wrong and it sucks. One should be allowed to have bags without security's concern. I was there in less than five minutes. I did go to the restroom as planned, but you made me hate your establishment. Security need to wait for one to do something wrong before approaching one with "rules." Also, I think, your policy is racist and daunted with the racial profiling. You picked on me because I was not white. My best advice: Leave the guests and customers lone! Unless they are caught doing something outrageously wrong for the public scene. Otherwise, you are on the edge of a harassment lawsuit, if this is the way you treat people. Keep in mind, your security guards are regulated by a state agency and this wrong behavior about with bags can turn on you and your so-called good hotel. Security guards are required to keep it hospitable at all times. Your guards do not. Your guards are nothing more than "pit bulls," we believe you are scaring your customers away and screwing your good image. Furthermore, you are hostile and rude to recommend me to "go the the Four Queens," John did. Fire him or reprimand him before we find ourselves in court.

I only visited the casino part and I loved it. Spent a lot of time there having a blast. The old school derby game inside Vintage Vegas was a crowd pleaser. I never imagined myself enjoying such a game but I happily blew $80 bucks on it. Staff super nice.

The D is located right in the middle of the Fremont Street Experience, so you have easy access to lots of dining and activities. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the casino floor is well designed and fun to explore. The D Grill offers a great variety, as we are there each day of our trip. Definitely a place to check out if you're Downtown.

Very clean and staff was very friendly. Loved the way they were sanitizing all the time. A little bit of street noise on Thursday night but that is to be expected. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

The only bar open is upstairs. Customer service was horrible. Only 8 tables were occupied and there are 5 people behind the bar making me wait 10 minutes. I guess checking their phones was a priority.

Went to the D to play the house racing game upstairs and have a few drinks. Had a great time! The cocktails came quickly, the people who worked there were friendly, and the fellow players were having a great time.

The parking garage entrance when u make your first left turn when u enter to park is way to small. I have an extended cab truck and there was no mind of sign stating I probably wouldn't make it around that corner in the truck . I caved in the entire side of my truck trying to maneuver around the pillar that's there. Im thinking about sueing the he'll out of that casino. It's costing me close to $4000 to fix . Smh upsetting

For the price I was very impressed. I thought I was going to see the quality of a super 8 but the rooms were remodeled not too long ago and they are well kept. Simple, but clean and well kept. Inside of the hotel and casino are nice as well. Rooms are normal size. I was satisfied.

I ate at the restaurant. Our waiter was creepy and kept staring at my friend's chest. Ten minutes after eating I was up in my room throwing up. Missed the concert I was suppose to go to that night. Very disappointed with the service and the food. Will not be staying here again.

***** Attention to all Copenhagen users *****

***** Attention to all Copenhagen users *****
If you are a Copenhagen or similar products user, don't go to the D and gamble there. They will call you "gross" and don't let you gamble, according to the pit boss named Jerry Harris. They will not let you gamble and tell you that you are biohazard to the casino, according to the dealer named Ariel who is also a dancer. That was what happened to my husband. My husband had been kicked out of Pai Gow table after he dipped Copenhagen in his mouth. He was insulted by the dealer and the pit boss.
