Excellent service. We used the service to bring the distillery Christmas Market to our house. The food was great and we have been going to the market to start the Christmas season for many years. It was great to be able to enjoy the spirit of the market at home. Thank you.

We ordered Easter Brunch in a Box. Everything was absolutely delicious! We fed 2 adults and 2 kids lunch with lots of leftovers for tomorrow. The goat cheese was originally missing from our order but it was delivered quickly along with a little jar of balsamic carmelized onion chutney. The Caesar mix was just the treat I needed this long weekend. We are thoroughly impressed and we haven t even dig into the chocolates yet. We can t wait for our food tour as soon once we re on the other side of this virus.

For my retirement a group of co-workers gifted me a culinary adventure food box in lieu of travels, the pre-covid plan. The box was chock full of treats from all over Canada, and some beyond! There was more than enough to feast on for several meals: PEI cheddar, frozen falafel, fresh wholesome loaf of bread, artisan sodas ... and so much more!

I had such a great time at the Cheese and Cheers event. The box of delicious Ontario cheese and drinks was delivered to my house in a cooler to make sure all was kept fresh. The actual event was held over zoom and it was fun and informative. The best part however, was the actual tastings. Wowza. The cheese selection is amazing and you get more then you can possibly eat in one sitting. The drinks were also fabulous and paired perfectly. I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves cheese and loves supporting local. Thanks so much Culinary Adventures :)

Did the Little Italy tour for my girlfriend's birthday. Honestly, I had high expectations... But man, this was fantastic! It was perfect for a date. Great food a drinks everywhere. But the real charm was surely in the guide. We were lucky to have Ian as our knowledgeable companion. He knew all the key people in every restaurant, we were treated incredibly well and I 100% recommend this tour to any couples looking to break the routine with something different, exciting and charming. Plus, now we have a new foodie friend, which is priceless.

Best tour company I've ever gone with. My company has done two separate private tours with Leo and they've been absolutely incredible. Leo is a friendly, passionate guide with a vast amount of knowledge to share. The food and learning are a great combination with great portion sizes for both.

It is unusual for a local like myself to go on a tour in my own city, but I was given a chance to go on the Queen/King West Brunch tour from Culinary Adventure Company and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.

The tour gave a pretty good intro to the area and places we visited, and I learned a few new things about my city despite living here for most of my life. The tour was well planned and executed for the best experience possible. I will not divulge on which places the tour brings you to on here as that might ruin the surprise, but let's just say they sure saved the best for last!

I really liked the fact that the company is one of the few Mealshare partners in Toronto, and they have donated over 3000 meals to those who are less fortunate.

If you are a visitor looking for a guided tour to experience some of the best eateries in Toronto for a few hours, I think Culinary Adventure Company would be your best bet.

My husband and I did the Leslieville/Riverside Tour and we really loved it. Chef Scott shared all kinds of interesting stories about the history and characters of the neighbourhood. He introduced us to some great neighbourhood food gems such as Tabouli, Mary MacLeod's Shortbread and many others. It was a really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon, learn more about our city and enjoy the company of others from all over the world. Highly recommend it.

I've ordered a couple of the food tour boxes for myself, and also as gifts. They are wonderful and delicious! The collection of items they put together from local businesses are amazing, and this is a great way to support local.

Since we were not able travel abroad for our summer vacation due to C-19, my daughter and I decided to organize a gourmet stay-cation of our own in Toronto. The plan had us visiting local gourmet restaurants, making unusual meals in the house and broadening our culinary experience with unique eateries. A guided tour through Kensington Market was just the thing to do in this stay-cation.

We are no strangers to the Kensington Market but we signed up for the tour hoping to learn about usual places and stories of this wonderfully diverse and quirky neighbourhood. We were definitely NOT disappointed.

We were fortunate to have Kevn, the owner of the company, as our tour guide. Kevin was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The two-hour tour went by quickly and we came away learning a lot more about different restaurants and the history of the place. More importantly, we sampled excellent dishes along the way, and the all the dishes weaved perfectly into the fabric of the tour theme: a Made in Canada culinary journey.

I would highly recommend this tour.

I am a huge fan of these events. A great way to learn about new cultures and new parts of the city (that we think we know but we don't!)... And great guides (Daniel was a great guide for our little India tour!)

I'm from the Toronto area and I attended the Riverside + Leslieville tour on a rainy Saturday morning. I understand the weather is beyond the control of the company and the tour owner mentioned he would try to do limited talking outside but I would say half of the tour was outside in the rain and the other half was inside. I felt like there was more talking and walking than actual eating on this food tour. I expected more variety and the chance to try new and interesting food but I was pretty disappointed. He brought us to a coffee shop to order 1 beverage, then to a shortbread shop where we got to sample 2 shortbreads, then he brought us to a bread shop where we just passed around a basket of small fry size pieces of bread to dip in olive oil while we were all standing in a small store front. Our lunch destination was a place I've heard a lot about and that should've been the highlight of this tour but only 4 vegetarian appetizers were ordered split between 4 people so if you are looking to be full by the end of this food tour, please lower your expectations because I left hungry and unsatisfied.

The owner was kind enough to reach out after reading my review to discuss my unpleasant experience but I would still not recommend this tour.

Just completed my third tour with this company - Little India. A great tour, go hungry, including a chance to make a dosa in a restaurant kitchen. We have also done the Chinatown/Kensington Market tour and a corporate tour on the Danforth. Great guides, great information on the neighbourhoods and the food. It is a great way to be a tourist during the lockdown - explore your city. Highly recommended. I will definitely do another one. We have also used their food tour in a box service.

I've lived in the GTA for years and didn't know about Culinary Adventure Co until someone gifted it to us last year. We loved it! The Gerard St and Little India tour was really easy to find, had a relaxed vibe and was a great way to discover some hidden good gems in the city. I highly recommend for something new to do - especially if you're foodies like us! It was the perfect date.

I was gifted the Christmas Market Food Tour in a Box. It was delicious! The box was full of high-quality goodies that I'll be enjoying for days! It transported me to Europe and made me so happy.
The box contained pretzels and mustard, potatoes (with duck fat for roasting - they were incredible), gherkins and raclette, currywurst, and lots of sweet treats. I totally recommend it!

This was a 5 experience! With Wesley as our guide for the day we had a fabulous and entertaining time. His personality kept us all comfortable and at ease. We learned a lot about the intriguing historical backgrounds of Kensington Market and Chinatown. The menus we experienced were all delightful and thoroughly enjoyable! Wesley hinted at little elements of surprise throughout which added to the wonderment of a delightful day. Will definitely be booking an other experience!
Thanks to everyone in setting up our adventure with a special thanks to Wesley

Kevin showed us some great brunch and overall delicious food options in Toronto.
We were met with fresh cookies and delicious coffee to start our tour. We learned about the area of Toronto, we were walking through, checking out local neighborhoods.

Food was excellent! Each place we visited was expecting us and was ready to serve up delicious samples.

Once the official tour was over, Kevin offered to share additional options to help us continue our experience.

Highly recommend this tour!

I had a great time on the Chinatown and Kensington Market tour yesterday. Leo is very knowledgeable and friendly. Plus, he gave us a lot of additional recommendations for restaurants outside of the tour. The food was delicious, and I tried many things I never would have ordered on my own. We went on a pretty cold day, but it didn't impact the experience. I definitely recommend this tour any time of year.

St. Lawrence Market tour: HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Went on this tour Sept 2020 and despite the covid restrictions, this food adventure was so fun! Our guide Kevin made the whole experience so enjoyable. He was prepared with sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, and reconfigured the tour to accommodate proper social distancing - this did not take away from the experience at all. The food was YUM and the vendors were still friendly. Nice way to get to know Old Toronto as a tourist, or even as a local.

We've taken food tours all over Europe and North America and the Chinatown Kensington Market tour in downtown Toronto is one of the best I've ever been on. The food was great, the host (Leo) was fantastic and the price surprisingly affordable. The food was ample even for the guys. We were all full. Great day, great food and a fantastic company to do business with. We are going to try their other tours soon.

We had a great time with Kevin as our guide for the St Lawrence Market. I loved learning the history about the area and the food, esp as a Torontonian who never really twice about the place. Very good variety of samples and many samples overall. Good tips about the food provided too. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. Makes as a good gift. Thanks Kevin :)
