The Apprentice Academy Manchester Review

I received good support and would refer the Academy to anyone looking to do an apprenticeship.

Whilst studying in college, I was unsure about what path I should take when leaving to take on a new challenge. I was approached by The Apprentice Academy who advised me of the different options I have. From day one, I have received continuous support from all staff, from the back office to my trainers and assessor. Throughout the 18 months of completing my apprenticeship I have felt nothing but welcomed. Offering numerous training days, new opportunities and rewards for your hard work. I have grown as a person professionally which has helped me follow my aspirations and goals.

I would not hesitate to recommend The Apprentice Academy.

Would highly recommend the Apprentice academy to anyone looking to start a career in digital marketing. The guidance and support I received from everyone at the academy from my first visit to completing my apprenticeship was exceptional, especially Dave my career coach who gave me advice and support throughout the course as well as Jim who taught me several life lessons I could take into any role within any industry. I m now working in a role they found me and have gained several promotions since starting the role.

Really not an enjoyable company to sign up with. I had high hopes of joining the academy, but it was quickly ruined as they treat you with zero respect and not as an adult. Very patronising and demoralising.

Completed my apprenticeship with The Apprentice Academy last summer. Always felt supported. The people on my course were all friendly and supportive of one another. The Apprentice Academy made by apprenticeship experience smooth, enjoyable and pointed me in the right direction from the application process to completing my qualification. 100% recommend :-)

Not somewhere I'd recommend studying if you're over 17/18. I studied here last year for a short period of time and found the staff incredibly patronising. As I'm in my late twenties I found they treat you like a child, as if you're still in High School. No mutual respect. The staff also seem to love to tear you down to your employer, unusual approach I found. Overall, I'd avoid.

I would definitely recommend The Apprentice Academy to anyone who is thinking of getting an Apprenticeship rather than going to University. The support throughout my Apprenticeship was always there and it doesn't stop after you've secured the job too so you don't need to worry if you're struggling in work because there's always someone at TAA who can help.

The Apprentice Academy provided the stepping stone for me to transition from college into a working environment and I have been lucky enough to continue working within the company I completed my apprenticeship with.

The basis and intention of the company is good and the sessions they provide do attempt to prepare you for a working environment and help you learn very basic "skills" to help with very general admin work although they can make you feel like you are back in school.

The staff at the academy are polite and helpful and do seem to have the learners best intention at heart.

The only criticism I would have of the company are that the process is patronising as you enter your final few months of the apprenticeship, the work you have to complete throughout the apprenticeship does not always relate to the work done within the company you are placed in and is very repetitive and the constant visits of a mentor is time consuming for both the learner and employer.

After leaving college, I was looking for an opportunity where I could really reach my potential within a challenging and rewarding career. The Apprentice Academy was one of many organisations I sought for help. The service they provide for us as apprentices and the clients they work with is exceptional. After your initial interview - which is used as a way to narrow down what career path would suit you, you are prepped for work life by attending training and development sessions before you start at your placement. Once you start, their aftercare and on going tutorship helps guide and support you through your personal and professional life. I am now working at an amazing company in a career that will set me up for life and I would have never even had the opportunity without the help of The Apprentice Academy

I would 100% recommend The Apprentice Academy to anyone who is thinking of getting an Apprenticeship. I left university around 4 weeks in and The Apprentice Academy gave me the support to look for a role best suited to me and also gave me the support throughout my Apprenticeship. I am now doing a job that I thoroughly enjoy and I feel that I wouldn't have had an opportunity like this without The Apprentice Academy.

As an employer, I was really happy with the service provided by The Apprentice Academy. They invest a lot of time and effort in screening and coaching, so that candidates are work-ready by the time they join your business. The ongoing training, aftercare and communication are all excellent.

I very much enjoyed my time at The Apprentice Academy and helped me in my current job. The staff are great and were always on hand to help out if I had any questions or thoughts. The lessons were smoothly run and very well organised. I would recommend The Apprentice Academy to anyone!
