Wonderful old movie theater. Probably best for people who are middle-aged or older. The movies start on time and the advertising prior to the movies is quiet and tasteful. Members get a great discount on tickets (I paid $6 for a first run movie last Sunday.) The only downside is parking in Doylestown. Get there early to find a parking spot (free parking on Sunday.) There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance of the theater.

The County Theater is a wonderful throwback venue...reminds me of theaters I attended as a kid. Staff is pleasant and attentive, venue is excellent, and the movie selection is always remarkable. Highly recommended.

One of the best theaters I have ever acquainted myself with. You fall in love the moment you buy a ticket and punch yourself through the round window doors. The crowds are respectful and always appreciate a good film. The county delivers again and again.

I love that they've restored the County Theater. I've only been here for the annual Monty Python PythonFest, but every time I've been it's been great! They also have an accessible bathroom in the lobby.

It's a small theater, the ticket price was fair, the temperature in the theater was good. It's an old theater in the middle of town, so parking is scarce. There are parking lots but then you have to walk a few blocks to the theater. This is only the second time I've been to this theater but would definitely go back.

A big part of the Doylestown community. We love the selection of movies and different kind of snacks. Looking forward to the expansion project to make the theater bigger and more accessible.

Membership is the best way to go. You will love the variety of great movies that the County presents. You will also be able to use your membership at the Highway in Jenkintown the Garden Theater in Princeton and the Ambler Theater. With the expansion coming to the County, now is the best time to join.

Twas the eve of crouching tiger hidden dragons. I was so lucky to have seen this film when I was going through my Barney stage. The purple dinosaur was was too goal oriented. I needed to see some karate justice. Hydration is a soilders best friend, the borough parking meters turn into quack farts that smell like George Washington wig. 25 cents of PPFFFFFFFFFTTT!

First and last time i will ever go there. Great quiet little community theatre. Cheap concessions. Tickets cost about $11. The crowd their were all old timers so that was great. The theatre was very very warm. And packed to the brim. Its a very small venue!

Not a huge movie fan, but I do like Independent, Foreign and smaller scale movies. County Theatre is a great place for watching such movies. Theatre slides in between small family shopping and local owned restaurants. Quaint, quiet and a great night out.

Good local place to watch movies that you might not see at other places. Membership available but not necessary to purchase tickets. Membership gets you discounted tickets. Sometimes special showings . Check their website for showings if needed. You can purchase tickets through the website too. Great snacks and coffee available.

This is the one theater that I can always count on to be showing films that will interest and entertain me. Even if it's something I haven't heard about, it's dependable for my tastes. It's a lovely old theater and even has wonderful refreshments!

This is a nice smaller movie theatre. The seats were standered size and the screen was a bit small but they didn't have a very good movie selection it just had the one that I wanted. It was nice with a cool vibe, interesting to see all the employees that actually looked like they wanted to be there, which is rare when it comes to teenagers working. This is a nice place for a date night, so enjoy.

I love this old theater nestled in the middle of Doylestown. It was always a single screen theater but has 3 now and project underway to expand more. I kinda miss it being just 1 but have to keep up with the times !

It is a good old-time theater. It could use some updating, and the bathrooms are not handicap accessible at this time. They are going through some renovations and I hope this will include accessibility updates.

A wonderful small-town movie house with 2 screens showing films you won't see at the mall super-plex cinemas. Always fun to stroll the neighboring stores and grab an ice cream after the show at one of several tasty joints.

Excellent theater, love the classic movies. A credit to the region's taste and appreciation of film. It's a shame that some people living in Doylestown for 40 years can't recognize the cultural value of this nonprofit theater in their own town. If you want to see Iron Man 6, it's on 10 screens down the road in IMAX 3D.

The County is a terrific addition to the Doylestown scene. Run by a non-profit, the County offers a great alternative to the suburban multiplex. High quality movies shown on state of the art digital equipment.

The County Theater is my favorite place in Doylestown and has been for the last 20 years. It has great movies, great friendly staff and most of the time the attendees are respectful. Love the place..
