LA Live is fun! Parking is a bit of a rip off though, but tons of great food and entertainment options. if you're gonna celebrate, consider uber and use the savings from parking to pay for it...
I work here so I'm being a little bias but this place is always happening every weekend. It is very clean and offer a lot of great places to eat and drink.
There are often activities in this place, plus there are a variety of restaurants, right now there is an ice rink for skating and a beautiful Christmas tree in the center, visit recommended!
This place is great for friends, family and dates. Excellent selection of food from: Mexican, American, Sports bar, Italian, French, steak, Seafood and spots near by as well. Parking in this area is around 8-25 depending on the events. Therea a movie theater which is gorgeous, bowling, a club, stadium, staples center for sports, even ESPN area. Microsoft building were they host events for celebrities. Also if theres a game on that night, make sure you use the restroom before you leave because you'll end up in 30 min to an hour long traffic just to drive 3 miles. During the winter they have a beautiful ice skating rink.
A great place to many different things. There is something for everyone here. Great vibes and great eats. Definitely worth checking out if you re in need of some fun.
Cool place in theory. Everything is over priced and way crowded when it's open. Best thing there is the movie theater Regal, only one downtown. Security are very rude and disrespectful there also. Hopefully these things will change.
Everything modern and well designed to floor together. I really enjoyed this place. We stayed at the JW Marriott Live and that was the perfect place to stay to visit this area. Please see my review of the hotel for more details.
Great place in the evening and during special events. Lots of restaurants and clubs offering food and drinks. However, the place seems almost abandoned in the daytime as there are very few people around. There is a 18-lane bowling alley and a 4DX movie theatre as well. I lived in JW Mariott which is a part of the square and so I could visit these places at night time too. It was great!
Food, drinks, bowling, dancing. We had our wedding party at Rock N Fish. It was a perfect family style meal. We had so much fun celebrating the lives of Kobe Bryant and Gigi Bryant in the house he built. None of LA Live would have made it without the Lakers and the Amazing Feats of Kobe.
Went during super nacho hour. Nachos were super. I also shared the green enchilada which was yummy but the nachos were so filling I'm not sure I needed it after a delicious margarita and spicy michelada.
Absolutely love L.A. Live. There is always something to attend here. Free concerts, farmers market, art events, ect. The restaurant selections are great as well
Modern area and very well lit by colorful lights and high definition screens, making good restaurants and bars. In the background of all this nothing less than the Staples Center arena, where they play the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) among others.
A cool place to go ONLY if your going to one of the venues there such as Staples, Microsoft, Convention Center etc. Food selection here is good but over priced. Definitely a place that supposed to be attractive to tourist. Reminds of Hollywood Blvd, City walk but in downtown. aesthetically pleasing. The times square of the Westside.
