The atmosphere is AMAZING! Whoever had a hand in decorating that space , you do great work!!! The food wasn't bad....but could have been better. Little to no seasoning. Which I was disappointed with. I ordered their ultimate bloody Mary and was ULTIMATELY disappointed. The fries, not seasoned, greenbeans were fresh...but plain as well. I was hoping for pickled veggies....the rest of the stuff in the drink was as to be expected. Our waitress, who was also the bar tender, was VERY slow. Took her almost 30 min just to come to the table to ask about drinks. Then another 30/45 to ask about food. We were waiting on her to come back to the table majority of the time.... I ended up going up to the bar to finish checking out. It wasn't crowded!

Great food and service. This was the BEST octopus dish I have ever had and I have had many. Kudos to the chef. Love the happy hour wine choices. Don't drink Chardonnay and most places have this as their happy hour. At Community Table it is a Pinot Grigio, sparkling rose and a montepulciano. All great choices. Service was attentive but not excessive. Will be back often.

We so enjoyed our time at Community Kitchen last night. We were there at 6pm and didn't leave until 9pm. Natalie was our server and she was spot on.
It was busy but we never waited for our drinks. There were 4 of us. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely well versed in the art of making her folks happy. Our friends had apps and they loved them. We are excited to have found this little treasure and we will be regulars for sure. If a fun atmosphere and great service in an upscale environment without being snobbish sounds like your kinda place. Get on over there.
Thank you Natalie, we had a blast.

My mother in law and I went to Community Table s opening night. They had an amazing turnout!! What an inviting atmosphere. Their team was so friendly and welcoming. The service was perfect. The food? Umami. We had the potato puffs and steak tartare for appetizers. Delicious!! I had the pork chop - the flavors of the plate were spot on. I can t wait to go back. Excellent location for a girls night out, a special occasion, or just because it s dinner time :) Highly recommended

We have been enchanted by their food since they were known as Free Rein at the Workshop. This place is a whimsical experience for the palate. Even the way they serve the water makes you feel like royalty! Great flavors, awesome service and food that always makes you want to go back for more. We are looking forward to their new creations, and for them to bring back some of the old ones, like the best octopus ever!

CT has a cozy welcoming ambiance and a stellar staff of professional servers. The food is some of the best in Mt. Pleasant and DT Charleston and they do an amazing job of curating a menu of local flavors and ingredients that exceed even Charleston's dining standards.

I wanted to love this restaurant. I really did. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. I decided to take family from out of town for brunch on Sunday.
Our first impression was how cozy and warm it felt inside and how beautifully decorated it was.The ambience is wonderful.

I'd like to point out a few small things. We started out with drinks. My dad asked for a glass of tomato juice. He was brought a Virgin Bloody Mary. I ordered three meals off of the kids menu for my boys and after waiting 30-45 mins for our food to come out, they were brought adult size burgers with the adult sides. They were quick to say they'd take them back however, we waited another 15 mins for their food. At this point the adults were finishing their meals. They didn't have any jelly for the toast. My son's bacon and eggs were cold. The list went on and on.
I am hopeful since it is a new restaurant, they will be able to work out
some of the kinks and be successful.

We were all patient and understanding and I definitely will go back and give this one more try. My suggestion for families with small children would be to order as soon as you know what they want given the wait time for food. I'm sure the staff is still learning and that is to be expected. I just wish, having decided to take out of town guests there, we had had a more positive experience.

Absolutely fantastic food in a beautiful setting. We could not stop eating every single thing that came to the table. The popovers with bacon jam were lethal. Everything else was just as good.

It's not particularly great for kids and extremely noisy (they need to figure out a better solution for the acoustics). The staff was friendly and service was timely. The neighborhood is extremely charming and perfect for an after dinner stroll. Very highly recommended (except the noise!)

Found this restaurant by chance when we were in the area. Atmosphere was beautiful and comfortable. Food was Amazing! Had popovers with bacon jam and butter, then a beet and feta appetizer, then spaetzle and chicken confit. All were fantastic in taste and presentation. Highly recommend. Staff friendly and experienced. Well done CT!

The food looked very pretty in the presentation but it did not taste great. My wife s fish was very dry and hard to swallow. My son said his steak tasted bad. 1 daughter said her eggplant Parmesan dish was flavorless. The other daughter never got her side of fries. Our waiter (Alex) was inattentive and lacked concern when we verbalized some of these issues and didn t make any attempts to make us feel better about our visit. The hostess did a better job checking on us than Alex did. She even got us the bread poppers that we were promised before our food came out. $220 before tip for a sub-par meal. We won t be back.

Fantastic food in a beautiful setting. Every single thing that came was wonderful and we could not stop eating. We started with popovers with bacon jam which were outrageous. And then the rest came and we ate and ate! So good.

The restaurant is lovely. However, the acoustics are terrible. It's extremely noisy. Also, not particularly good for kids. But it's a great date night place and the staff was friendly and food came in a timely manner. Plus, the neighborhood is so charming we just wanted to linger. Perfect for an after dinner stroll.

Update: We went back 1.5 years later, this time for brunch. Waffles were delectable, scrambled eggs yummy, salad tasty (except for the flavorless squash), French dip tasty, bacon and eggs with potatoes very good, bacon jam still good, but slightly too sweet this time. The only miss was the fried chicken that came with the chicken and waffles. It was burnt and dry. But this was the only disappointment. Then we ordered the s'mores pot de creme and everything was right with the world again!
