Dog friendly pub area with a lovely fireplace. The food was great! We had pea and ham soup as starter, which was hearty and yum (with a little kick which was great for a cold day).
The lamb was really delicious and generous in portion too. The chicken satay was delicious as well, nice spicy, and the homemade satay sauce was good (not authentic but good enough).
Crispy beef was deliciously sticky.
There is a lot of chicken in the Chicken Cesar salad, lovely and moist meat which was given a garlic herb rub, really delicious.
The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, friendly and attentive staff.
All and all, two thumbs up!

Friendly staff, good selection of drinks and dog friendly - you couldn't ask for a better local pub.

Amazing food and reasonably priced. Arrived midweek for afternoon tea but chose hot meals instead. Substantial portions too. Service was first class and environment was super safe and socially distanced throughout our stay

I Have visited this restaurant on a few occasion's over the last few years. Its a lovely establishment with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. A couple of points that have put me off visiting more often is how long it takes for them to cook the food, tonight it took forty mins for a steak baquett, burger and hunters chicken. Also a couple of times we have had additional drinks added to our bill. I've also seen other people query their bill due to additional drinks being. added. I would advise checking your bill and allowing plenty of time.

Turned up to find they had no record of our reservation even though it was read back to me on the phone. Still they were able to give us a table but not where we had requested. Took 50 minutes from ordering our food to receiving it so a bit slow . Food was very good.

Poped into the Cheshire Yeoman on a whim looking for traditional pub grub. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. It was a very quiet wed night so they were i believe packing up for the night, but took my order and got me settled in with a nice pint of Carling. The food was ordered and arrived about 10 mins later, freshly cooked and looking wonderfull. I got the roast beet stack, and the beef was so tender it fell apart with the fork, delicious. Desert was very nice and again delivered quickly and with a welcoming smile from the waitress. All in good price and made to feel welcome, could not recommend the food and staff enough.

Its a great place for meat eaters as ithibk my family enjoyed their food but could do with more vegetarian options. Just the one main meal for veggies- currently a lasagne. And no vegan mains. Also no veggie or vegan children's meals.

I called in whilst waiting for motorcycle recovery. a nice and warm cozy feel to the place and even has an open fire. Staff were friendly apart from one who seemed to let it down. Face like thunder and just seemed to mutter when talking to customer. Otherwise nice pub

Really accommodating, the waitress was really lovely and friendly too! Delicious food and the pub had a really nice feel to it, however, there were a few flies flying around where we were sat.

We had booked, and chosen our meals prior to going. There was an issue with an oven, so they gave us some flat breads and dips whilst we waited (about an hour), which is reasonable.
Out of our table of 8, all had left at least half of our meals, but we weren't asked why.

I see from another review from about a year ago that this isn't a new thing!
As the other reviewer said "check your bill!"

Staff were wonderfully attentive, food was very good quality, can happily recommend the beef roast (beef is rare - but lovely) the veggies were wonderfully done, as was the hamburger - but the gammon was very tough, and the food took a while to get to the table, but when it arrived it was good. Me and the family would happily eat here again.

Fabulous food. We found this place by chance but rest assured if we are in the area again we will be back. All the food was freshly cooked and served piping hot. It was tasty and there was plenty of it. If we were to pick fault my partner says the meatballs were a little processed but the sauce with them was delicious.

I came across The Cheshire Yeoman with my children and wife. The outside wasn't attractive, but the inside was very well decorated. We were very hungry at the time after a 4 hour journey from London. We were greeted by a off beer smell More
