Went for my boyfriend's birthday with 2 friends. Good food, atmosphere and service. Would have been 5 star however I ordered a burger and asked it to be plain due to allergies and it turned up with sauces I am allergic to, it was replaced however it's a shame this wasn't correct at first and lucky that I double checked otherwise I could have had a reaction

my wife visited the Cheshire Yeoman last night with a friend , having visited several times before, the food is always very good , but last night the service was painfully SLOW. Having been sat at a table for around 20 mins , she had to ask a member of staff if they could order their food . The couple at the next table left without ordering because they had been waiting around the same amount of time. The most annoying thing is, that it was not even that busy in there.

We called in on the off chance of a table being free, we were very lucky and later very very pleased.
Both opting for french onion soup, followed by Sunday roast.
The food quality and presentation was excellent..
Very pleased and we will return soon..

Lovely decor, friendly staff, chef a little over zealous with pepper even on gammon. We sat on a table next to a party of 8 and they were so loud we couldn't hear what each of us were saying, the rest of the restaurant was empty so there was no excuse not to give us another table, except for easy accessibility for staff to serve bith tables.

Well done, the staff are very friendly the food was gorgeous and there was no rush. We were there for the last night of our short break in the are. Great atmosphere and the staff knew their regular customers. We would visit again when we are back in Cheshire.

First of all the barmaid was amazing her service was fantastic she had the whole bar to serve and was also waiting on the entire restaurant on her own. The food was atrocious, it's like the chef had had the food described to him but had More

Starters:

Starters:

Teriyaki Chicken...burned two small pieces of chicken, salad with sweet chilli sauce.

Chicken courgettes... To big should be four small ones instead of two big ones, no dip with them... They need a garlic and herb dip, also melted cheese on top.

Tempura Prawns only 2 served, should really be 4 for the price, these were ok...

Mains:

Cauliflower cheese, cauliflower under cooked, cheese sauce poured on top, not how cauliflower cheese should be cooked...

Fish n Chips served on the smallest place I have ever dined upon, was like a takeaway Fish on top.of chips, mushy peas bowl on plate way too big, no tartar sauce, no other condiments offered, had to ask for tartar sauce..... No bread and butter offered....

Lighting too bright.... Waiters didn't attend to us frequently enough had to grasp their attention for drinks....

Also people drinking in bar area without eating food.... Not complying with covid rules...

First and last visit unfortunately....

Three of us went here at about 1.30 last Tuesday and had a nice meal. We two adults picked from the reasonably priced Bistro menu and a youngster chose frothe Childrens menu. All our meals were decent well cooked portions served by attentive and friendly staff in clean well apointed surroundings.

Well 10 of us went today 8/12/17 had festive lunch. There was not a scrape of food left on plates we will all be coming back for more. The staff were fabulous and the Xmas decor around was great. We were made so welcome you can imagine wot it like 10 of us girls laughing and having a great time. Thank you so much and compliments to the chef xxx

We have been to the Yoeman quite regular for sunday dinner..and even though the service was slow the staff and food was worth it...however since their makeover it has gone downhill with very uncomfortable chairs that have seen better days and waiting nearly two hours for the main dinner and when we made comment on the wait we had a rude response from staff with the comment "as you can see we are busy...ok?" also my grandaughter could not eat her pasta dish as it was too intense in tomatoes we had no apology or offer to get another and they still charged for it..that was the last visit we will not be going again
