Great luxurious resort.

Great luxurious resort.
Excellent food, and super atmosphere.
Clean rooms, great beach and nice pools.

Do hope to get back sometime.

They only messed up our finale diner, due to timing issues.

All of my friends have recommended I stay at the chedi, and now I know why. Such a beautiful hidden gem. Three nice restaurants to choose from on site. You should stay as long as you can to fully experience the goodness!

The Chedi Hotel near Muscat in Oman's is one, if not the most stylish hotel I have ever stayed in. Its water gardens are breath-taking as are its pools. The hotel backs on to the beach. The staff were astonishingly supportive, they really would do anything to help make you stay the most memorable. Thank you Chedi, you will always be in my fondest memories.

The location is serene and the cafes are peaceful. The pool by the beach surrounded with Palm trees just take you away from the busy city life. It is worth every penny. It was an experience not to be forgotten (this was written in retrospect)

A unique location doesn't look like it from the main street until you drive in your at another world from the second you park your car to the reception you are greeted by local Omani staff members which gives you that pride in the country and the city of Muscat the property is amazing you would not think you have all this facilities on the same property everything is thought of even the night lighting on the path ways.

Perfection. The Chedi sits aloft with our most brilliant ideas on luxury and relaxation. From the small rooms to the enormous standalone suites, this resort will set up in a happy place beefy of angst.

The suites are expansive with complementary minibars, decanters of Vodka, Gin, and Whisky, along with constantly refilled jars of salted almonds, pistachios, and dried apricots. The suites are cleaned twice a day to keep you at the height of lux. Be sure to look forward to an afternoon delivery of macaroons, madeleines or other treats just to ensure you feel fawned over.

The gorgeous Long Pool architecturally over looks the Gulf of Oman, whole the poshest gym you ll find makes Pilates or the average weights session feel millionairesque. The true treat though is the Chedi Infinity pool set among the Omani-style suite bungalows. Right on the beach, you have the option of the warm sea water or the chilled pool. Sun poolside is augmented by a superb bar and restaurant, along with complimentary iceblocks. This pool makes it easy not to leave.

The Cheri s Restaurant is superb offering cuisine from across the world. The curries are superbly presented and make a great contrast to the Arabian food, symbolic of Oman s position on Indian trading lines. Have the Omani Nest for pudding for a real treat. Lastly, the Clubroom offers a grand environment to while away hours reading with coffee, fruit and sweet treats to one of the best soundtracks a hotel has ever produced.

Go here and treat yourself to the pinnacle of luxury and enjoy properly losing all concern for the outside world. Take money, the boutique is pretty impressive too.

Amazing and stunning hotel! I've been there only for a dinner with a friend of mine who lives in Muscat but I would love to come back there to enjoy the stay in such a beautiful place! So spacious, well organised with many amenities and exceptional service!
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would give more stars if I could

Food was lovely but the service was appauling considering the star rating. Our food was cleared away before we finished eating and we felt rushed to leave the restaurant. The staff were quite rude and when it came to splitting the bill (which we had already worked out ourselves) we were questioned on it and challenged (despite the fact we worked it out correctly). I would not visit here again and pay the money I did, purely based on the service received.

I recommend you visit and check into this hotel anytime you re in Oman. We had a bad flight but this made up for it 1000 times more that we forgot Our altercation with another passenger . The staff is friendly. Services is 5star. Food is ok. Poolside food was below average. Night time food was really good. Room exceeds expectations of decor and cleanliness.

The Chedi Muscat is the best hotel i have ever been, considering the style, the service and the quality in general. The style is a mix between the local culture and asian elements with a magnificent result.
The staff also was extremely friendly, as most of the people living in Muscat.
Extremely recommended

The standard room costs between AED 1600 to 2500 when is doesnt even have a bathtub or a coffee machine. The TV is very small and only has few free channels. The shower room had only the rain shower above you. The breakfast is good, but if you stay for more than one day you will see that it is exactly the same breakfast everyday, no varieties. They change the variety of the bread section only.

This places blew us away and this is the best hotel I stayed in Muscat and all service beyond my expectations room, food and all and decoration are perfect setting even the room only has a shower without bathtub.
The only two below my concern during stay
We did not find any hairdryer in the bathroom?
Water in the toilet washing not working?
The long swimming pool absolutely places for relaxing and de-stress for day life.
Thank you for Tari who taking my reservation and hani in reception and especially the bellboy who escorts me to the room and explain and show me all facilities but forget the name
Highly recommended! Thank you Chedi for wonderful experience
Hope to visit again soon

From the outside the building and grounds look quite unassuming. However on entering the hotel, the stunning design of the internal and external spaces reveal themselves as you travel through it. We have stayed here a few times and it has been great every time. The breakfast is really nice as were the other restaurants we visited. The design while being Arabic is quite understated and creates a very relaxing environment. The rooms we have had were very well appointed with nice design details.

Went with a lot of expectations. Staff and service is excellent. Rooms leave a lot wanting. Bathroom and toilet are v small cubicles and therefore disappointing. Bathroom floor was not draining properly. Overall overpriced for what it delivers.

Amazing experience. I went there for a company Iftar in ramadan, and i was amazed by the service. The resturant was so neat and organized to house a company iftar. The menu was so delicious and had many famous dishes.

I popped by here to meet a friend for cocktails. The magnificent place is just a stone throw away from my hotel (I wish I can afford to stay here instead ). The layout and landscaping is beautiful and I suspect, it is even more so during the daytime. We had some nibbles and drinks and then, we walked around to explore the grounds. The beachfront was very nice. A secluded beach for the guests with the glorious gulf providing soothing breeze and gentle waves to the shore. The hotel itself is not a tall building. Rather it is a sprawling property offering oceanview rooms, very akin to a resort style complex. I marvelled at the interior design from their pool to their lobby and their many restaurants and wished I could see their rooms as well

The spa is one of the best in everything (except the price maybe).... The atmosphere, reception, variety of treatments, and most of all Therapists.... really professional and well trained.

I had a couple of sessions with Wati recently and she was super in her work and in her personality.. Thank you. I had sessions with others andvthey were also very good.. But I just don't remember their names.

They have offers sometimes that makes the price better.

I wanted to ask.. Wheen are you going to re open??

The facility is beyond superb, but what makes it unique and exceptional is the service and staff. Definitely would visit Muscat again just to spend time in this amazing resort.
Spread in a large area with various types of rooms, this resort is unique in how the architecture blends in with it's surrounding to insure that it's not an over statement. The simplicity and calmness of the resort is reflected in every aspect. Hosting three different pools of which one is a beautiful long pool.
There are three main resturants. The main serves international cuisine (breakfast), the second is a beautifully located restaurant by the beach serving seafood, and the third which is a Japanese restaurant. On Wednesday, one of the pools serves a BBQ buffet. All the food including room service is mouth watering good!

An absolutely stunning hotel. Grand scale modernist design with Islamic influences are truly extravagant yet show stylish restraint. The three pools make for an amazing respite from busy Muscat. Hotel staff were amongst the best and most helpful I've experienced. Highly recommended.

This resort is a large property with a number of restaurants and bars to hang out. Great views of the beach and different experiences can be had, chilling by the pools (yes, there's a number of them) to a sit-down dinner!

I had high expectations for this hotel, but did not reach them. We arrived at night, our first bad impression was that the hotel lobby, rooms and especially corridors were dimly lit, it was a bother especially for my parents (over sixty years old). The second worst impression we had, was also on the night of our arrival I had booked massages at the Spa for both my parents, it was very difficult to navigate "the garden maze" at night with no clear signage anywhere (had to memorize the spa location from map), we ended up reaching the end of the resort premsis, when I happened to reach the gym, asking where the spa was they took us back where we came from, and surprisgly which I have not seen or experienced anywhere else in the world! The spa was up a flight of wet (with water) stairs, which was very tiring for my parents!!! I brought to to relax and unwind they ended up have a strenuous exercise and arriving exhausted (notice the loooooong corridor of the spa it spanned the length of the building again a negative thing to make guests walk all this length to reach treatment rooms... Luckily they enjoyed their therapy. When I complained to the attendant at the spa about no signage and stairs I got the answer that their treatments could have been done in a room somewhere on the premises on the ground level (I kept wondering why didn't she recommend it when I called in advance to book the treatments? I was told upon arrival that the dry nuts were complimentary, upon checkout they notified that no they were chargeable. On the first night I found the ceiling dripping water (check picture) with no risk/watchoit slippery sign right outside of 1 of our rooms, not that it was only dark but on top of that was water- slippary, they fixed the issue after I called front desk and complained The daily fruit platter/basket complimentary for the club room was a set of 3 of the same fruit (green apples or pears) whoch were pit in a bowl. Other than the beach and lap pool, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone I know nor will I stay here again.

Despite the amazing staff. I was expecting the hotel to be much more visitors friendly. As the hotel is really big there is no single sign to show you the restaurants and location! At night it is very dark to walk around. And the worst thing I have seen that toilets does not have bidet.
