Nice place for a good time to get away from everything. Service is excellent.
Prices are on the low side, from the rooms to the food and to the drink. I'd highly recommend the French Restaurant, a four course set menu serving excellent organic sourced food only cost RM200 nett. Very cheap and good... and excellent ambiance and location.
It is not for those who are looking for lots of activities there but some people who just want to get away from everything.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. We really enjoyed our one night stay there. Covid protocol was observed both staff and visitors. Very neat hotel rooms and wash rooms.
Breakfast was nice with a wide variety of food.
The chateau is a baby friendly hotel and will recommend it for vacations. It has a quiet and serene atmosphere.
We booked a one night staycation at The Chateau on a Sunday. The hotel was practically empty, and we have the castle to ourselves. Lots of privacy, loved it.
The one bedroom suite was clean and well equipped with the basics.
I didn t find the check-in service to be a 5 star luxury resort. The reservation staff was speaking to me at his desk 100metre away from where the lounge of where I was sitting. After the check-in process, there was no direction given to us where s our room or basic layout of the hotel.
It was made known to us, breakfast the next day will be send to the room. And they will deliver the breakfast menu to us in the evening. Needless to say, we needed to call front desk to check on when the menu is arriving as it was already approaching 10pm.
The next morning, we call front desk to place our breakfast order, they said in-room breakfast order needs to be done the night before. We were puzzled as no one informed us on when to place the order, in the end, it was delivered to our room.
I ve been to Chateau 7 years ago, and the service level was luxury 5 star. 7 years later, I simply do not think the management service is doing justice to this beautiful castle.
We stayed for 2 nights to chill expecting nothing & less people during pendemic. The resort services needs improvement. So, guest shall not take more than an hour checking in, rooms were not ready after 5pm, just chucked all lugages in a room without informing, few poor service examples. Foods were in ration state, butter out of stock, orange juices no more etc, by 10am foods stopped being replenished, in fact, breakfast selection was very limited. Had to praise that the foods of the dinner served, it was execellent especially the western choice & organic wine was good. Quite an unique place with cooling climate, please do not let it rot, buck up your service & do not stint on your foods/ drink!
Super nice and tastefully furnished Spa Hotel around town. Felt so relaxed and peaceful though didn t get a chance to stay there.. Staffs are friendly and very attentive. Will be back to stay soon (hopefully when the rates are more affordable).
Such a nice and relaxing resort! The rooms are gorgeous, beds are so comfortable and food is amazing! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well! It location right within the jungle simple makes your stay magical. The pool is actually a salt-water pool as well instead of chlorine which is just amazing! Really enjoyed our stay here! Breakfast was extremely delicious too! Definitely will be back here when i m back in Kuala Lumpur (Genting Highlands)
