The food here is always amazing and the staff is very friendly for teenagers.

We were surprised to see how many plates and bowls were brought to our table so many tasty side dishes in addition to our main meals. We left very, very full. And they were very helpful with providing takeout containers so our dinner could feed us again the next night.

The best fried catfish in the Springfield area. Served family style with white beans and fried okra, ff, hush puppies and slaw you will not leave this place hungry! Great value and wait staff.

Took my dad here to eat the portion size was huge, however I have to say the food was a bit under seasoned, the food while flavorful just didn't have the 5 star taste for me except the turnip greens and the spoonful of my dad's white beans. I ordered the cajun catfish strip dinner which I got a side of the turnip greens and vinegar based coleslaw and a 6oz steak, you could taste a cajun flavor on the strips but there was no salt, the steak was just right on the cook and the flavor of the steak was great but again lacked butter or any kind of seasoning all in all i would come back here the food was good and you get huge portions i wish i could have rated The Catfish House a 4.5 out of 5.

The Best catfish and sides, are in Springfield, 45 minute drive but worth it.

Great place to go eat. Good food. Service was awesome. Have been there several times before. Will always go back.

If you like catfish this is your spot, plus all the fixins(sides) they give you make it easy to hurt yourself eating at a great price.

This is a family-orientated atmosphere you, and have a great time without no problems of troubles. Look around your girlfriend your wife or your fiance and have a great time for nominal fee great place to go

The last two times we have been to the catfish house it has been unacceptable. The okra had so much black pepper in it we couldn't eat it. The white beens were thick and dry, and my husband's french fries were from bottom of the bag and enough salt on them to choke a cat. And they were burnt. We won't go back.

The fish, hush puppies, and white beans were superb. The restaurant was CDC compliant.

We always enjoy our meals here,our guests ask to go for dinner there too.

We have always loved going here. They have ALWAYS been the place in Springfield to beat as far as getting a baked potato fresh and HOT!!! Over the years they have been going down hill. Our last visit had to be the worst; with the exception if our server. They never did get my wife's steak correct - kept over cooking it. So needless to say she only ate a salad. My fish was excellent - nice portion and hot. Slaw has dramatically went down hill. It tasted like cabbage with a slight hint of some sort of dressing. The last let down was when the.baked potatos were luke warm. I can see now why other locations have possibly went out of business. Especially if food quality had been this lackluster. My fear is that our location is on the verge of closing. I say this because upon arriving there were SEVERAL unbussed tables and some of the key people were waiting on tables and they weren't at all busy. I can only hope they can recover from the path they are heading. I would hate to see them close but I feel that day is coming because you use to have to wait what seemed like an eternity to eat there on a Sunday and lately you can pretty much walk in and be seated.

The staff at Hampton Inn recommended for dinner and they were right. Awesome fried okra, white beans, turnip greens, and super catfish! Perfect southern cooking and really nice wait staff. Next time we visit Nashville we're going again...and again.

Visiting from out of town and came across this jewel. Great friendly service. The food is incredible and portions are generous. Come hungry !

Best catfish around but some of the help are not friendly or attentive

I grew up with the catfish house. If you like fried fish the is is the place to go. Other fast food fish places have nothing on this place.

Food was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend going to this place for some good southern food! Server Ashlyn was so great!! She made sure we always had what we needed and stayed on top of getting our food and fixins out quick! This place is absolutely great for any occasion!!

One of our favorites places to eat. We really enjoy the all you can eat sides, which are served family style, and the all you can eat option for your catfish. Other items such as steak, hamburgers, chicken strips, etc are equally as good. Great place to enjoy a family meal.

There is just no catfish place within an hour from here that could beat it because I've been to the mall and I always come back here because it is absolutely the best

I've been here a handful of times and loved it. Tonight was my husband's first time ever and he just couldn't stop saying how great his food was. Our server Addison was awesome. Will definitely be back soon!!!

My friend had to wait 30 Minutes after everyone else got their food. And when she brought the food out she Didn t even have the audacity to give it to her and instead made everyone pass down her own food... bad vibes, don t come her. the waitress was rude.. they need to be stopped.

Food good. We were in a group setting accomadations were good.

Food was good. Fried pickles were a little greasy. Could have been cleaner. Server was good.

Service was so great and I really enjoyed the blackened catfish.

Food was delicious, I had the two piece catfish dinner with a loaded baked potato and the meal comes with white beans, breaded fried okra, cole slaw your choice of mayonnaise or vinegar based (I chose mayo which was very good) and hushpuppies. They don't open until 4pm except Friday/Saturday they open at 11am. I'm not sure about Sunday but I'm thinking same as Fri-Sat.

If you like catfish it's good but a little pricey, usually understaffed

Good food, attentive wait staff, but I've never been a fan of carpet in a restaurant. There is no way to keep it clean and it was showing where we were seated. It's a great place for good southern cooking.

Not very accommodating. Had my mother-in-laws birthday there this year. We had over 50 people in the party and do understand we'd have to pay extra. We were placed into a large room but restricted to very few tables. There were extra tables right beside us that no one sit at but we were told they were for customers. No one showed up for those tables, but we were forced to sit six and seven people at a 4 person table. They were rude with hateful remarks to family members. Instead of writing family members names on each order they just jumbled all the orders together so when the food came out you had to guess who had what. Paying was a nightmare cause they treat us like someone might skip out on the check. If they put they family name on each ticket then this wouldn't have happened cause they would have know who had what. All I can think of is they did not want us to even think about coming back next year for her birthday.

Best place in town with a variety of choices for all, great prices and wonderful friendly service.

Really Good Southern food.From Great steaks..to fried okra,white beans,etc.The place is large and not much time at all to wait.Most times there is no wait. Great American Restaurant....
