Awesome place to eat, if you leave hungry something is wrong.

If you are very hungry, come here. The amount of food that comes before your order arrives is staggering. Make no mistake, it's all delicious. 2 kinds of coleslaw, fried okra, and enough hush puppies to feed an army. The service is fantastic, attentive, and fast. All the food is mouth watering and filling. The only thing missing is wheel barrows to get people out. Please go, it's worth it.

The food and service was good. I'm sure I'll be back.

Food OK. Service was slow and our table was not clean. Not interested in ever going back.

This place was overall good and worth a look. We had to wait at least ten minutes, maybe a little more after being seated to have a waiter take our orders for food and drinks which was kind of annoying considering it wasnt even that busy.

The food was good. My wifes butterfly shrimp had good flavor to it and all of the sides you get before the meal were good. This aspect of this place was kind if cool in my opinion with the hushpuppies, okra, white beans, and coleslaw before the meal. The catfish was good but I didnt think it was amazing for a place that is supposed to be about catfish dishes.

Restaurant could use some updating, but the food is too good to dock them more than a single star. Worth the drive from Nashville!

Love this place. The food is phenomenal. So is the service. They bring you hushpuppies, beans, and coleslaw before the meal. Then a large meal. Interior looks very nice. Exterior is the same.

The absolute best catfish on this planet it served picnic-style bowls of white beans bowls of okra bowls of coleslaw all filled up the instant they get empty there's a new bowl

To cold and they have changed the Catfish that they used last year.

The worst experience we ve ever had at a Catfish house!!! I start off by saying we booked a reservations for 10 people drove to Springfield from Clarksville to meet up with family and enjoy dinner for my sisters birthday. We sat at the reserved time the waiter came over we ordered our drinks and then didn t see our waiter for other 30mins. We were his only table so we didn t know what was going on other than him playing around in the back and unwilling to work. When he did finally come back to the table he came with cold appetizers we had ordered a long time ago and honestly I was so upset at that point I had to ask for a manger. After another long wait here come the Manager or so she says that was on more than 18 years old. When we mention to her (Natalie) the problem she just looks at us with a long pause and said it s not his fault like really?? This is why the young and inexperienced can not manage a success restaurant.... After her response we decided to get up, leave, and go to O Charley s across the street for better service. Super disappointed in this establishment tonight. This would have never been a issue at the Clarksville catfish house..

The food was delicious and the service was great. There have been some changes due to Covid 19 but the changes are understandable. Prices have to change to help absorb the impact but it was not major. There is no family style dining but the portions are so big it is more than enough food.

The catfish and the fixin's were delicious! It was the best fish I've had in a long time. Our server was a very polite young man who took wonderful care of us.

Love the fixings..... don't need the fish every time but it's good too.

Slaw, catfish, beans and service were very good. Could eat the red relish by itself. Hush puppies and ocra tasted like there was something burnt on the breading. Turnip greens were way too salty and not edible.

I've lived in Springfield all of my life and the Catfish house has been a staple of this community the entire time. I have always enjoyed its food, even the non-catfish items, and it has always had excellent staff employed there. if you don't believe me, drive by just about any night and see the full parking lot. This place has a lot to offer.

Their food is absolutely delicious. The onion rings are the best I have ever eaten. The extras they bring with the order just make dining really enjoyable. The service was nice too.

Great fish, service. 3 plate dinner, (okra, white beans, fried cornbread) are the sides with every meal that come out before the meal. That does not include what you order with your food. Excellent service and you will be full when you leave

All the food was great except the hamburger steak the hamburger steak had no taste at all

A must for excellent food and prompt, courteous service by cheerful waiters and waitresses.
Reasonable prices too. I highly recommend.

Nothing to brag about. Steak ordered medium rare but came out medium well. Not enough herbs and spices on food. Very bland to me. Wasn't impressed.

OMG.....is really all I can say. The food is simply Awesome. My favorite is the scallops and the shrimp but Lord everything is Good even the staff. My Dad like to eat here for his birthday every December and always share his cake with the staff.

Still one of my favorite places in the world. Still feels like a 2nd home!!! Working there so many years... Food still is great. Get okra extra crispy. Hush puppies non like them in the world. Summm fine fiddles!! Love the new decor.

It was not as good as it has been, plate was dirty and so was the silver ware. Service was slow, we ask for a spoon for our beans. They brought us all tablespoons. Food was good, but the service was lacking.

Food has been excellent every time but the service is sub-par. I've tried everything except for the steaks and so far I haven't been disappointed by anything coming out of the kitchen. The waitstaff need to start just writing everything down if they are going to forget multiple requests and parts of orders each time. If the service was at least average, I would have given a 5. I'm probably going to start picking up the food rather than dining in.

This place has some great Southern food. I love the fried catfish and the sides that are served family style. You will not leave hungry.

A well organized, great atmosphere, fantastic food kind of place.

The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. The food was wonderful; had the catfish and it was cooked right.

Service was good until I complained about the mushy soggy wet fish and the nasty feet smelling onion rings. Went to cash out and the manager wanted me to wait to talk to me voluntarily to only try to back their product up, but didn't try to correct the problem and earn our business back. Will never return back there.

Wow...what a pleasant surprise!!! Not o ly do they load you up on food...but it tastes GREAT!!! We'll definitely go back!!!

All of the side dishes were fantastic; fried okra, beans, coleslaw and hush puppies. The catfish fillets were wonderful... of course. Friendly staff and prompt service. Highly recommended!

Our church went to the Catfish House. It is a very great place to eat. You need to go. It is in Springfield Tn.

Always love this place. Hush puppies and Cajun catfish strips are the best.

The food is always good. Only problem I saw tonight was that when I came in the building I caught some evil looks from some of the wait staff. I understand working long shifts and ready to go home but there's no need to make a customer feel uneasy. Cheer up ladies. A smile never hurt anyone.

This is hands down the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. The fried okra is phenomenal!

Fantastic little place to go and eat. The meals are a family style and they give a large portion of white beans, coleslaw and fried orca for the table to share. The catfish is great no matter how you get it (regular or Cajun). Oh yeah, and they also give you fried dough boys for the table as well. All of this for a great price.

The food was great. The white beans were great and the fish hit the spot.
