The Bull & Barrel - Restaurant & Bar Review

We had a nice quiet time on the patio. It wasn't too crowded considering it was a Friday evening. I loved the $2 pulled pork taco.

Nice big bar with great drink specials and live entertainment. Only downside, finding parking.

Food amazing, music fun, riding the bull awesome and the staff very pleasant.

Limited menu cuz of the country concert. Not overly original menu but great service.

Our server was sweet and had perfect timing..... there but not there! Great food :)

I won my birthday dinner and my whole family had a great time. My 6 year old ate his whole dinner and my ribs were hugeee!! No one had any complaints.. service was very friendly, they gave me a t-shirt and hat and free champagne and my meal was free as well ! Definitely will return for their amazing food!

Wasn't very busy... music seems distorted and strange mix of types. Bull rides are 5$ each. Wait staff bartenders are good. Security keeps a good eye on things and is proactive in preventing problems. Parking is across the road and is paid or use the parking at the market. Crowd was very varied with all demographics from college kids to 50 plus

Liked the food service was outstanding. The turn off is the hostess station is right across from the mens washroom that has no door so it smells like a urinal. Fix that I will give it 4 stars.

Great food... Was here on a Sunday afternoon but there was a Knights game on so parking was $15... Of course that is not their fault but it does make the meal pricey.
Avocado grilled cheese was amazing!!!

We had a great time lots of good laughs and the staff are polite . The service was quick at the bar but server's were not always around at the right times . Dj was awesome loved the old truck as his booth awesome idea

Terrible food, bad atmosphere, friendly staff.
We went in for all you can eat wings and didn't even finish our first pound, even felt sick after. The wings were amorphous, soft and even the extra spicy were needlessly ridiculously sweet. Was roughly equivalent to fast food if not worse.
The iced tea was the only positive part of the meal.
Looking at the bill afterward I couldn't believe I was paying forty dollars for such bad food. There are many much more acceptable places downtown. Rarely have I felt that I have wasted my money at a restaurant but this is definitely one of those times.
Go to Roc au Taco/ Early Bird if you are at all hungry, it is right beside Bull and Barrel and approximately ten thousand times better for real actual food.
If you are going there to get drunk and ride the mechanical bull I suppose it is fine but as far as pub food goes this place is on the bottom of my list.

Love this place! My friends and I go to the Bull and Barrel for dinner before the Knights' games and everything I have tried has been great. The staff are very friendly and quite attentive. Hats off to them!

Went for the Wednesday dollar taco and $5 pitcher special. Of course the three of us ordered off the menu as well. Veggie tacos and onion rings were tasty and my friends said the chicken wings were also good. Service was excellent. The place is very clean. Although competitively priced, as everything else on Talbot row in any close proximity to the Bud, a bit $$$ for a tavern. Will definitely be going back to try their Santa Fe Burger though. I like a restaurant that can offer a vegetarian something other than salad.

Great place to hangout beforehand and after events at the Budweiser Gardens. They also gave great food with many specials to offer.

Have only been there for lunch. The nachos are the bomb. When fu man chu sized, it can feed 3-4 people to the brim!
Only sad thing was the change in lunch hours for the winter! Now opens at 4 during the week

All you can eat boneless bites are basically all you can eat chicken strips. The chicken is also very dry.

Came on a Wednesday all you can eat boneless wings. The wings were horrible. There was barely any chicken on those wings. Worst I have ever had

Great food and very clean had the beef brisket and real nice smoked flavour very delicious highly recommend this place if you're downtown London

Went for all you can eat wing night. Mediocre at best. Sauces and spices are store bought and displayed mostly in their original containers. You have to spice them yourself. The price is good but barely worth the mostly empty restaurant and country music. I would most likely not go back. The rest of the menu sounded good. But based on the wings, wouldn't try it.

1- food is overly expensive, 2- there was a charity event which my gf was extremely excited about, once we got there there was no advertising no signs to point out what is going on, and when she asked, none of the wait staff knew anything about it! 3- the waitress on the patio was extremely rude and when I tried to defend her to my friends, she went on a tangent trying to explain her self in a more aggressive tone... I don t think I ll ever go there and my party feels the same way! And I have doubts about their advertising now since they claimed that it s a charity event and I don t think a penny is going to charity! Very shady establishment to be honest!

Horrible and disrespectful management and staff. Would never come here again.

If you ever get a chance to enter into their birthday contests I would recommend doing it because you get a free meal that is under 19.99. Great atmosphere, very cozy and great prices.

$5 cover charge after a concert at the Gardens on a Saturday night. Kissed off a $250 bill for 4 people for a lousy $20 in cover charge. Not a smart move. J-Dee's got the business and EARNED the $40 tip.

We went for the All You Can Eat Wings today, the wings were good, but the service was bad. The waitress was too rude, will not be returning.

Close to Bud gardens. This is a country bar and grill, which isn't my cup of tea but there were few options close to game (hockey) time. Country ambiance. Great selection of beer - was surprised to see Michelob Ultra on tap. I had the nachos which were fantastic. I always love it when the chips are homemade. However, once again this place serves the tiny little shot glasses of salsa sauce. I don't know why these places do that. I asked for extra salsa in a bowl, instead I got three shot glasses (what I call those mini-bowls) of salsa. They gave me two more when I asked. Service was quick and attentive

Won a batchlorette party package for here online. Booked the night we would be attending in advance. When we arrived it was very disorganized, seemed as if no one knew we were coming. I had to ask multiple times to get everything that I was told would be included in the package. One thing was a bottle of champagne for the group. I had a text listing this was included. When we asked for it at the bar, we each got a 1/4 glass of champagne which was less than half a bottle worth of champagne. I asked the bartender twice and showed them the text but they refused to give us a bottle. We didnt end up staying long as the entire group wasnt impressed. I sent a private message after the event voicing my disappointment and asking to speak to someone, and never got any type of response from management. Will not be going back.

Slow service. Food was cold by the time we got cutlery and condiments.

Had a blast on St Patrick's Day. I was there with my friends who were performing that day. Good crowd, great service and clean.

I have been to this place for the late night party and it was a fun atmosphere! Great music and just fun and relaxing. I most recently went for a friend's birthday for the restaurant part. The birthday package they offered was pretty cool. The food was super delicious and I would gladly go back for that. The biggest problem was the service we received. There were a limited amount of people in the bar. It took a while for us to get our order taken. The food was pretty quick to come out. Then our server took a long time to come back to our table. I felt the service should have been a little quicker (there was maybe 10 people in the place....and only 3 of us). Would give them another chance as the atmosphere and food was great!

Always a great night here, also wear your cowboy boots!

First time I went, the food was excellent. The wings were perfect and the beer was cold. However, last 2 times the food has been subpar. I got the wings once and was very disappointed with the lack of sauce and general flavour. Another time, I had the burger that tasted a little old in my opinion. Maybe this place is meant to be a late-night hangout like on Richmond St.

This place has inconsistencies in the kitchen that are impacting an otherwise enjoyable resto-bar. I do recommend it for a night of drinks and dancing, but I can't tell anyone to eat here because of those inconsistencies. When is good it's good, when it's bad it's really bad.

Great country music and dance floor but the crowd is a bit mixed with older and younger people. The food is terrible...except for the pulled pork.

Good service. We had a good time took a couple of rides on the bull that were awesome and the guy running it was fantastic to us. I wish it was a little busier so that we can dance on a Friday.

Staff can be sleezy and some rude in the later hours. Cheap wing nights are definitely cheap wings.

The wings are pretty solid. I could do without the music, though. But AYCE wings on Tuesday let you try multiple sauces. Great concept. But the music...

All you can wait on wings. One pound followed by 3 wings every 20 min. Waited 40 min to get my bill aftwr asking twice. Will NEVER go back. Very different from B&B Windsor

Good food HORRIBLE service

The food is great!
But country music is terrible, and everyone who claims to like it is lying or stupid. A mechanical bull is just a way to look at young drunk girls' underwear and not seem like a perv.

So went here tonight for the first time and was very disappointed first the food i ordered which was chicken dinner well the chicken was not cooked had blood comming out of it and when i tried telling the waitress she tried saying it was just the lighting until i showed her the blood she took it away to bring me back a very dry tasting chicken we also ordered party platter the bread chips for dip was so greasy the rest was ok when i got the bill i noticed they charged us 15 dollars for a tip which to me is rediculous who are you to tell me what i should tip you also tip fot what i didnt even get asked if i like another drink hsd to run down the waiter just to get a water but yet i had to give 15 bucks for tip i would never go back you think they would even give you some kind of discount for making me wait forever for my food just very upset with outcome

Food was good and the service was excellent. Only complaint was that the kids Mac & Cheese came in a bowl which was scorching hot and luckily I checked it before my son grabbed it. In future please warn patrons.

I had a burger, fries, and a cold beer... Food was not that great in my opinion. I found it very heavy and greasy (although the fries were great!). Also, not sure why they have stand-up comedy at a bar and grill.

The place was great, the service was fast and the food was amazing.

Extreme slow service. Bank machines were down and had to pay cash so had to hunt for a bank machine. Food was so bad that full plates were sent back and they said nothing.
