Breathtakingly beautiful. Best steak of my life (Porterhouse, medium rare from La Taverne). Live band was wonderful, not too loud, perfect dinner setting. The bathrooms are nicer than my house.

We just came here because I was curious about this hotel. No public parking here but they will allow you to drive in and have a valet service. It was a raining so we shopped a little bit amd walked around. We had lunch at the pool side. Boy the lunch bill was very high. Burger/fries/3 chicken tenders/ one lemonade/coke/ milk shake costed me $57.00. For this price I could have had nice STEAK dinners.

Two stars because the hotel and grounds are beautiful and historic. Minus 3 stars because the parking rates are outrageous & they do not validate (and acted snooty when we asked), our waitress at the bar room took forever to get us our food (a cheese & meat plate btw) and even longer to get us the bill, AND guess what?! She gets an automatic 20% tip! The delay in service caused us $4 extra cost in parking, which again, cannot be validated, even with a $50 lunch! I think this place is a ripoff, and even though I love the gilded age and fancy hotels, I do not recommend eating at the restaurants. Run through as quick as you can & appreciate the history before they nickel and dime you.

What a great place! The Hotel Bar is everything you would expect. The staff is so friendly and truly cares about your experience at the Broadmoor. I would stay there just for the hospitality.

All i can say is that this was the most lovely vacation I ever had. The service was excellent, the location's views were beautiful and my favorite part was the indoor fireplace. The wood burning made my stay nice and relaxing, specifically because it was almost snowing. The room service food was really good. Their staff were super friendly. I went mid January 2020 and we enjoyed it so much.

What an amazing experience, the rooms felt like I was back in the late 1800s. We stayed on the west side of the building but had access to a shuttle that took us around. The service was impeccable, anything we needed we were able to request. Definitely come back again!

Amazing place with quite a historic past. Well worth stopping by just to your the grounds. Staff is very gracious even when you are not a hotel guest. Several restaurants on site, some you will have to do a bit of walking to get to, but you will be happy that you did.

I attended the CPNP conference at the Broadmoor for three days and their accommodations and staff were well above my expectations. The staff was polite and quick to ensure every aspect of our conference was in excellent condition. The conference halls we were in were gorgeous and always prepared for the mettings of the day.

My review is not based on a stay at the hotel, but based on a walk around the premises (both indoor and outdoor) and a luncheon at the outdoor lounge.

As a visitor from outside of the Colorado Springs area, the Broadmoor is beautiful and tranquil. My wife and I compared it to a Disneyworld resort, and there was something about spending time there that felt magical. This was especially true given the backdrop of the mountains, which are absolutely beautiful with the foreground of the lush landscaping and Cheyenne Lake.

The inside and outside of the hotel are both exquisite. Inside, the decor is classy and cozy. Outdoors, the scenery is tranquil and breathtaking. We walked around the premises for about an hour and enjoyed every minute of it. Out in front, there is a beautiful courtyard with colorful flowers, a fountain, and a classy old Cadillac.

I suppose there's no need to say it's quite expensive. Even our light lunch consisting of only appetizers costs us nearly $40 for two. This including a 20% "hotel fee" on top of what we left for tip, apparently because we were not overnight guests of the hotel. Still, one cannot complain since they allow visitors to roam the indoor and outdoor premises for free.

Would love to stay here some time, but it was not in the cards for this trip.

Stay here and take the dirt road that winds up into the mountains starting beyond the south side of the property. Old Stage Road? No guardrails and it gets a little bumpy...but worth it! Be careful though...on 2 of 3 trips up this road I've seen vehicles overturned where drivers lost control.

Wanted to go to The Golden Bee but they were completely close for a private event. So we went to the little Italian place in the west tower. Food was great but the portions were kinda small. The Gelato was good. Don't recommend the cookies, thus are not what you think.

Thitry bucks per plate... Was expecting a phenomenal spread. Just a small salad, a roll, 4 oz piece of chicken, one mini carrot, three green beans (super al dente) and chocolate mousse for dessert. I expected more for it being THE BROaDMOOR... I was not even impressed with the service. My dirty dishes sat in front of me throughout the entire luncheon. If it was some sort of fundraiser I would have justified it, but I was there for my daughter's senior luncheon. We were just not treated as valuable patrons- you know... good food and good service. Very disappointing.

This is an amazing place. We experienced excellent service until we went to the hotel bar. They add 20% as a service fee....aka gratuity. The staff does let you know that the fee is included. However, at the hotel bar, we had no server. The supervisor took our order and told us our server would be with us shortly. We finished our cocktails, and no server ever stopped by. I hope he or she enjoys the 20% tip I was forced to pay.

Excellent Hotel, staff, service. The gym and hot tub area close little early but other than that I have no complaints. The room was impeccably clean and the hotel is historic and attractive. Anything you buy here will be overpriced, but that is kind of the point isn't it?
