One of the larger embassy in DC, it's a labyrinth of stylish Georgian buildings, regal paintings and statues, even an ornate English garden in the back, definitely more than a pretty penny of prim and proper setting for teas and biscuits. The staff were polite and curt, kinda snotty in the subtle English way. I only did the visual superficial tour so can't testify to level of service provided by the embassy.

I urgently needed to speak with someone about any quarantine issues that my wife could have traveling from Budapest, Hungary to Miami, Florida via London, England next week June 3, 2020 through June 5, 2020, landing at Gatwick on the 3rd, and departing from Heathrow on the 5th.
The gentlemen with whom I spoke assured me there would not be any problem.
Thank you very, very much.

I need very specific visa information and the phone-based service simply directs me over and over again to the website which does NOT have the information I need and no means to find out how to get the information I need. Really bad.

I like visiting the British Embassy, because we'll I am British and I live in New York. Whenever I'm in the Washington DC area I always visit. The place is excellent, clean, and the staff are polite. The building is beautiful too. I just don't get why everyone else has a problem!

Passport DC weekend was a chance for visitors to celebrate the history and culture of the United Kingdom. The Bentley vehicles, the rose garden, Ambassador's dining room, and the portrait of the Queen were some of the highlights of the tour.
