NO LONGER FIT FOR PURPOSE. It was a very difficult decision to give the Met Police a one-star review but I must always be truthful as to the rationale behind this.
In 2011 there were 32,441 serving Police officers in London. Now there are 29,924; a reduction of 2517 at a time when London s population is rapidly growing. These pernicious Police budget cuts were implemented by Theresa May during her tenure as Home Secretary from 12 May 2010 to 13 July 2016. The pusillanimous Met Commissioner Cressida Dick is equally culpable for allowing this to happen unopposed on her watch and should resign too.
The result: violent crime and homicide is at a post war high with the majority of nonviolent crimes such as burglary and car theft no longer being investigated; just merely logged with a Crime Reference Number given.
The police are now reduced to a reactive service rather than the previously proactive force. Consequently, they have lost control of the streets and their abilities to protect the public.

The Scotland yard is known all around the world for it's power and might, therefore to me visiting London and seeing the Scotland yards building was impressive. It's right across the Thames river where you see the London eye at full circle.

25 years after the Met Police was labelled institutionally racist 12 police officers in 3 vans from the Croydon Custody Suite came to my address which is less than 100M away on Windmill Road. They were looking for my neighbour. Apparently because he went online and named the family court judge that stopped him from seeing his children.

My neighbour publically proved that the judge and her husband played bowls with his ex s father and suggested this is why he was violated so badly in the family court.

What I will probably never understand is there are so many people getting shot or stabbed in London, without the Met Police even trying to investigate. How on earth did they find the resources to send 12 officers to harass 1 black man?

Ignoring the really obvious fact that it would have been quicker and much cheaper to walk the 100M or pick up the phone and call the guy. If there is evidence of corruption in the family court why on earth aren t they investigating this crime?

Personally if this is what I was forced to do, just to keep a roof over my head and food on the table. I would probably opt for a life of crime. Going around mob handed to harass black people like this is cowardly! It would be much braver to walk into a bank with a gun and Plus after robbing a bank, I would still be able to respect myself.

Sadly for the Police officers from Croydon Custody suite station, I don t think they were even smart enough to realise how cowardly they looked. Them understanding why black communities hating them, because of harassment they deliver might also be way beyond their capacity to understand.

In case you still don t get it - 25 years after the racist condemnation, the organisation is as racist today as it was then. If anything it has got much worse.

1 STAR because if I stood outside the station with a banner explaining what they did, I would probably also be arrested and detained for the maximum 24 hours.

I've included pictures of the station, because I doubt anyone within the organisation would have the capacity to get the location right.

The Metropolitan Police moved from its famous headquarters in 2016 at 10 Broadway, London.
They moved in to the Curtis Green Building on Victoria Embankment.
The Met moved their iconic New Scotland Yard revolving sign just outside the new premises.
The designer of this iconic sign, Edward Wright (1912 88), imbued the sign with expressive and symbolic qualities that have transcended styles and fashion in art and design.
Also there used to be a programme called "Police 5" presented by Shaw Taylor and the sign became an iconic part of that TV Series and has appeared in many films.
