I came here for my IELTS exam but I was so disappointed with the exam management team. For example, adult candidates were treated like children and being asked to form a line for the registration yet in the end the personnel decided to call out the names one by one. It was also messy that the WPLN and IELTS candidates were crowding around the same area before the exam.

I have contacted the centre several time to help with my confusion about the ATRF. However, after several calls and email i cannot reach the centre and the delay is affecting my application. This is making me very unhappy with the service.

It was here where I lost my Courtney accent and picked up an Appalachian one, yeehaw; it is very different if one is taught a GCSE or an AICE in a true British accent.. Either of which is a good preparation to a very difficult to most difficult US 2-yr or 4yr college as I have found which may be necessary to gain admission to a good graduate programme in future or a bachelors of medicine, granted you get a good MCAT or SAT to convince admission counsellors you are Gregory smith 2

A very bad experience with the process of Cancelling my IELTS exam. Send an email on the 23rd of July, got a call from 24th of July (lady wasn't that friendly and compassionate to begin with) saying that they will check with IELTS. No response from Bristish council post that. I sent a chaser on the 13th of August and no one has gotten back to me.

I always had a good impression of them on being professional but it seems like they are just another corporate who is only consider about getting your money

Snotty customer service staff and unfriendly customer service practices. Be aware that they require you to pay for at least half the year s fees in advance (for primary and secondary school English classes) with a partial refund possible only under the most dire of circumstances. It is the same with arranging a make-up class. At the same time, they are free to change the teacher without advance notice and that is not grounds for withdrawal.

This place is easily accessible and the staff is very helpfu and friendlyl. However, you maybe required to spend some time in waiting until you are called in for your turn. It is less crowded during afternoons. However there is a small place within the premises to buy a drink and snack Incase you get hungry.

Very bad customer service. I have called them several times, no one answer the phone calls, gave empty promises where they are suppose to return my call and zero follow up even i have left voice messages. There is no point writing emails to them too. No body border to reply!

Very bad experience. I was told that a cancellation of the IELTS test would mean I would get 75% of my money back within 2 or 3 weeks, which was okay for me. My IELTS test was supposed to happen on 28 March. Today, 11 June, I have yet to hear anything from the customer service after several attempts to call the office and 7 unanswered emails.

Bad experience taking the IELTS test. In all email communications prior to the test, there was no mention of the type of verification document candidates required to bring. In fact, candidates who take the test outside of their home country need to use passport, no other document is allowed.

Upon giving feedback to British Council, they expressed no sympathy and simply highlighted a T&C link inside one of the emails that has a clause covering verification document. Legally they are not at fault but disappointed with the service

Me and my husband went for placement test at BC 2 days ago . The experience was okay in the beginning. However, during the review session, a lady presented to us with our scores. She recommended us the relevant courses. I have several questions. She didn't have the answers, and so she went to her colleagues for answers. I have additional questions and she said to me "Is that important?", "How many more questions do you have" with an unpleasant snotty expression. It is not my fault that she didn't know the answers.. I checked with my husband if I was being sensitive and he said she was indeed rude. This experience have ruined the high hope I had for BC.
