Excellent Customer Service
I bought a pair of THEO glasses with the awesome help from Van last year. These frames are worth every dollar. Recently I had one of the temples twisted like a "noodle" from having a car seat fold down on them. I thought for sure they would not be repairable and started to look at a replacement pair. Well, to my complete surprise one of the staff members ( sorry forgot her name) was able to repair that twisted arm back to it's original shape. This is a true testament to the quality of the frame and the extremely well trained staff. Thank you everyone!

I stopped in at the Brass Monocle (core location), and was greeted by a friendly young man named Logan. I told Logan that i was interested in retro/aviator style of glasses, and the first pair of glasses i tried on, were it!! Logan is professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with... thanks Logan!

Accidentally stepped on my glasses and broke the frame while I was working at adjacent building. Walked in as a guest, Amanda (hope I am right) helped me fixed it right away. Saved my day!

Amazingly looking and good quality frames. I got half a dozen of different frames from this place, and always was happy with it looks and feel. If you want unique and stylish look, it's certainly a place to go. They are not cheap of course but you can catch a good discount on some models.

Had a fantastic experience in this location working with Danielle who was working away from her home store (Mount Royal location). All of the staff were warm and friendly and offered extra assistance when warranted. I was fortunate to have time to visit Danielle again at the Mount Royal location where the amazing experience continued (please see my other review!). Highly recommend either Brass Monocle location for a great assortment of different eyewear and exceptional staff!

I never thought I would find myself looking at frames beyond the cheap online variations as I legitimately thought, all were created equal.

So well informed and so passionate for her craft was she that I bought my first pair of quality frames earlier this year. The impact they've had from friends, business, and my wardrobe has made me recognize the value of establishments like Brass Monocle.

I recently return to Danica and we got another pair that challenged my aesthetic and I couldn't be happier. She's constantly smiling, knows how to guide your curiosity, and above all is NOT a salesperson. She's beyond that, she cares in such a way that I now seek the same character in those who help me when buying anything of quality.

In a funny way, she's ruined the disposable culture I became accustomed to and I am grateful for it.

Honestly, however you train your people, sell the service, because I would hire a Danica in an instant!

Amazing place would HIGHLY recommend. Service was fast and the guy that works there is so kind. Had some minor repairs on my glasses and he fixed them for free! Fantastic experience everyone should come here. Honestly made my day and will definitely come back.

Super-helpful, friendly and attentive staff: I needed a simple repair job refitting a partially detached lens into the frame and they did it right away. 90 seconds, no charge!

There's really no store in Calgary that even comes close to the Brass Monocle. After checking the inventory of multiple stores around the city, you won't find any frames as unique as the ones at Brass Monocle. Everything else just looks the same. Tabitha was great, helping me find multiple frames that fit the style I was looking for, and that also fit my big head. Yes, their frames might be at a higher price point, but it's worth it.

This was my first pair of glasses ever, but rest assured I'll only ever come back to the folks at Brass Monocle for all of my future optical needs.

The selections of designer frames here are stylish and unique. I've purchased two frames here already. Also, their advanced lense fitting machine is more accurate than having to do it manually. This is from experience from someone that wear progressives. All the staff is super nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. Great place!!!
