I had drinks at Trader Vic's. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our seating request, even though most of the venue was reserved for a private event. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, and excellent customer service.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Beverly Hills. It is a truly legendary place! Home to The Golden Globes and the most coveted ticket in the music industry - Clive Davis' annual Pre-Grammy Gala. Rated 4 Stars by Forbes Travel Guide, this property will surely meet your expectations. Perfectly located and great dining options on site.

So great!

So great!

I was waiting on my SUV from valet after a massage appointment and a couple vehicles with wealthy humans pulled up.

Out of the first vehicle a few guys exited and I asked if they ever READ while being escorted around. Talk about humans that NEVER heard the word read before. I wonder if they knew what a book was.

The second vehicle was a lovely porche. The guys exited. I exclaimed, "What a nice Chevy you have."

They did NOT look thrilled at all. Honestly, its NOT my fault porche SUV kinda resembles my Chevy equinox

Have a blessed eve

I had a good stay, the location is nice and close to many sights and UCLA. The interior of the rooms are quite modern it was spacious and comfortable. As a gold member the amenities lack compared to other locations. The dining in menu was not as impressive and way over priced. An appetizer will cost at least 30 dollar with every included. The gym has a good number of cardio equipment and weights. The service was good and friendly

Fantastic! A Legendary Landmark with class and elegance! The down side are stupid nut jobs who insist on carrying dogs with them everywhere they go. Psych meds are the only animals these people should be allowed to carry!

I recently stayed a couple of nights here. My room was conveniently placed, overlooking the pool and close to the first floor parking. That much was pleasing. The room itself was quite large but otherwise unexceptional, and with a few significant defects. The bedside lamp failed to work, and despite a service request via the iPad ordering system (which was acknowledged with an in-house text) nothing was done about this by engineering until the second night, when I phoned in my request. This was then, it is true, immediately taken care of, but it was really a case of too little, too late. Of all the lights in the room, that to me is the most crucial (one other bulb was out, but that was insignificant). I was also bothered by the piped Christmas music, quite loud and very audible in the room, drifting in from the pool area. As I turned in early, this was an unfortunate annoyance.

The room furniture was worn and tired, with a couple of knobs almost detached. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and serviceable. Room service was prompt (I ate in the first night, having traveled all day), but the room service menu was a bit uninspired and ultimately dispiriting, and of surprisingly mediocre quality in terms of both ingredients and preparation. On the second night I had a pleasant drink by the pool (which I did not use during my stay) and that was perhaps the nicest memory from my stay. The staff were all courteous and helpful, and I would not fault them at all (except in the matter of the room lights), and the convenience of the location (an easy drive from the airport, even in rush hour) is hard to beat, but taken all in all, this was a disappointing stay. I'd not willingly repeat it.

Unfair to review this fabled institution in the midst of a pandemic, so I won't. I will say that if you care at all about Hollywood and its History, the Beverly Hilton should be on your shortlist of luxury L.A. Then again, it probably already is!

Amendments to last post:
"While at the hotel" I was attacked by an elderly man (see photo) who accused me of being a zombie claiming if he didn't kill me, I would spread it to everybody. I've seen this man at the hotelthe past 4 times I've stayed... And he is nuts. He always tells me he knows my name (Carlo) and how I look (tall, somewhat attractive, skinny, blonde with straight and normal length hair, man)... If you fit this criteria, read this review, and decide to go anyway... Good luck. Last time he got pretty close to having his way with me. If you ask me, it's not worth their mediocre facilities. Terrible!

Great hotel. Staff were even better. Alfred was able to upgrade our room free of charge. I first came to this hotel as a kid in 96 when we stayed in the Cabana rooms by the pool. But our room in the Wilshire Tower was brilliant. My wife and I had a great time.

Beautiful hotel, but the turns on the ramps when you enter and exit are ridiculously narrow. Not sure how SUV's don't scrape the walls getting in and out. Getting in and out for events if you drive there is pretty bad. Take a Lyft or have someone drop you and pick you up if possible.

A weekend at the Beverly Hilton is a tonic for the nerves. Pay a bit more for a pool-facing room (better yet, for a cabana room) and enjoy 60s surf films and Trader Vic Mai Tai's poolside at dusk. The standard room is good-sized with a Barbara Barry style decor and palette: silver, seafoam, cream, burnt umber. This is a traveler's hotel so don't expect much of a personal touch from the efficient staff.

Cool historic hotel that was a perfect location to make my business meeting. I didn't have the best view from my room but that might be due to the fact that I checked in extra early the day of. Definitely will look to stay again if I'm in the area for business again.

I stay here almost every time I travel for business. Rooms are always clean and nice, and the service is always spectacular from the front desk to the concierge to the bartenders. Lots of good views to be had as well.

Old and not updated

Old and not updated
Rooms smells and feel old
Stuff is somehow feisty.
Pool is over crowded and very very loud.
They do offer free ice water from water jugs in the pool area which is cool.
All in all, for this price look for better hotel around.

Gold status earned an upgraded room which was remodeled not too long ago. It was clean and comfortable. As noted by others, there was no coffee maker, which is standard in rooms half the price. The small LCD TV in the bathroom had a bad connection to the cable source that just fed static. Drinks at Circa 55 by the pool were good if not a bit pricey. $35 for a beer and a V&T is a little proud, but that's a relative bargain compared to the $42 a day self-parking.

Older hotel, nothing special about it at all. Would be 3 stars if cheaper, but insanely expensive for what it is. We stayed here for 80k pts and $40 for parking. Our stay in Orange County for 30k pts with free parking was WAY more luxurious than this pit in Beverly Hills. The steak at Circa 55 was hamburger quality.

Stayed at this hotel 11 years ago and was impressed with the rooms and specifically the bathrooms. This time, however, my room did not have an updated bathroom and the shower/tub was a little wierd. The shower pressure was so strong it was almost painful. Overall the hotel is nice, the staff is courteous, and the restaurant serves really good breakfast.

I went to do a job there on their gas meter, but I must say everyone there was very helpful. I got lost, and they directed me in the right way. Passing by the rooms they did loom very spacious, and clean. I would definitely stay here if o was staying around this area

The Beverly Hilton Hotel... where do I begin? I used to go here every week to complete my homework for school in the quiet lobby of this hotel. They really do train their staff professionally.

Oops I did it again. I really used to love the Beverly Hilton. When we started our US entity, we had our office on 600 Century Park East, so I lived there for months - and really loved it.

Sadly, the love faded - as did the hotel. Currently, I have one of my clients - a famous German popstar, who still loves it there - and they had me for breakfast. I still fail to understand how they get away with this really mediocre food at such prices and their - let's say it politely - rather unattentive service (unless you have the pleasure to be served by - I believe Rosa is her name - who has been there forever and is a real wonderful person. Sadly, we did not have the pleasure this time.

Did they exceed my expectations: sadly not.
Would I go again (for breakfast): sorry no.
Would I even take a 30+ detour to go? Hell no ;-)

The pool setting is amazing, which avoided one star.

Again, this is my breakfast experience - any Norms, Denny or ihop would do better than that - at a fraction of the price.
